I loved this podcast and I was delighted to hear about the HMH chocolate cake mix. Aristotle Onassis was served the Duncan Hines chocolate cake by Marta Sgubin (this anecdote was in her cookbook, she was Jacqueline Onassis nanny/cook/assistant.) He called her to the dining room and she was afraid she was going to get called out but he told her that is was the best cake he ever had and he sent his private jet to the USA pick up cases of the mix. I love this so much- I make that cake all the time for my family and it's impossible to mess up. The mansion staff seem like such nice people, and I loved Hunter, Bryan Laurie and the whole team, how wonderful to be cared for by such nice folks.

Overall I found this episode interesting for sure! I do have to agree with the other comments though that his remark towards the end kinda seemed like he was saying some chefs would ‘take advantage’ of drunk guests. That was definitely not it…I mean to call it out would be one thing but he kind of laughed. Not totally sure what he meant by that but, taking advantage of anybody in anyway when they’re under the influence is not okay.

He’s not a podcaster he’s a chef! He’ll prob realise later oh prob should not have said that or not what he meant. He’s just being himself
It’s disappointing that in videos you can tell Holly is on her phone and is constantly looking down not interested! I’m a big Holly fan but when she does this it’s frustrating
He appears to have a sarcastic demeanor, but in a harmless way. Given his history of working with the public as a chef, he's likely developed a resilient attitude through this tbh
I don’t understand why everyone in the comments hate this guy, he seems nice enough. The comments he made about hating their repetitive skinny fries orders make total sense to me, and to be honest I think he was just trying to make conversation. He also gave some really interesting insights into the working side of the kitchen. I think some people are just hating on him for the Trump shirt 😂 (Don’t come for me, I’m not American so I have no dog in that fight and I had to google the shirt to be sure)

Didn't like him whatsoever.
This. Hes obvs a very bitter person. And the fact that he’s making negative statements about small-town girls getting LA attitudes, etc., as if he doesn’t have one himself?! Boy, you are from a podunk town in the south & you still sound like it. Get out of here.
I think him being a chef for many years has prob made him not a sensitive guy. He may have dark humour some of you need to lighten up. Wouldn’t you hate being judge on a slip of words? He’s not a podcaster he’s a chef! He’ll prob realise later oh prob should not have said that or not what he meant. He’s just being himself
It’s disappointing that in videos you can tell Holly is on her phone and is constantly looking down not interested! I’m a big Holly fan but when she does this it’s frustrating
She said she’s taking editing notes. I don’t think she’d lie about that.
First again!!! Yay!!❤❤
Here for it !
Need recipes for the cookies!
That cookie drawer looked heavenly!
Fun one!
This guy was kind of a jerk
He is definitely more boisterous then Bryant was. Just his personality I guess. Holly and Bridget didn't seem shocked by it.
He appears to have a sarcastic demeanor, but in a harmless way. Given his history of working with the public as a chef, he's likely developed a resilient attitude through this tbh
@@aspookyspookynight I think you nailed it 🧐
Thank you for posting your thought...I was debating to post.
Chefs in general have kind of a gnarly sense of humor. It's very common in that line of work.
Also Holly and Bridget are both looking stunning as usual! Such a cute top Bridget! That’s given me some wardrobe inspo ❤
You’re right!
He sounded like a total idiot
He’s socially inept
He looks like he’s related to Corey Scherer could be his older brother or him when he’s a little older! It was bugging me for the whole podcast to figure out who he reminded me of! 😂💞
