How do you determine what the best denomination and multipliers to pick? Is it better to choose high denomination low bet multiplier, or low denomination high bet multiply?
Liked the reasoning of playing low to high volatility. I wld just add a higher limit to the high volatility and still not come away a winner.
Now a new idea to add to my playing of volatility games which really is a winner to me.!😊
I’m primarily a video poker and blackjack player but the slots call to me sometimes. But I do NOT like to sit in front of a slot machine for a long time. I set a relatively low $ amount-usually $2-300 and play $10-25 a spin on high volatility games. If I double my money, I quit. And if I hit a big jackpot? I play 2 back-up spins and stop. Sometimes, I’ll take the ticket and put in another $100 bill, taking out tickets when I get to $150. And when I lose the $100 I quit. Once, I ended up with 9 tickets totaling nearly $3000, netting $2600 or so.
@@kevinb4079 yes, I just figure if the odds are going to favor me, I’m in and out quickly, one way or another. At those denoms, all it takes is one bonus or good line-pay to keep my bankroll happy. For example, on my last 7 day cruise, I did this with Century Link and Dancing Drums-$300 a night. I hit two jackpots at $25 and one at $50 and ended up netting over $5K. Which gave me my bankroll for my next cruise. I could have lost all $2100 I wagered but the RNG was my friend 3 nights out of 7. My bankroll for blackjack and VP is $600 a night-I quit when I’m up $300 or down to $100. I’m a pretty solid medium roller (and I rarely pay for cruises as they’re casino comps). Best year I’ve ever had was a $23K net win, and the worse was a $7000 loss. I only play at night (never during the day). AND, I don’t drink while I gamble. It’s a form of entertainment for me. And money management is key. (I’ve have lost and chased and never want that feeling again!)

Haha, I like the firecracker game, but I only play when someone leaves it all lit up. I know it's not "due," but it means they played it enough to get them all lit up AND probably a good bit more since most people arent going to leave until they are sick of losing. Just put a cap on it so you dont wind up chasing it as well.
@@DrSchor Probability. Granted I have no idea what has happened over the lifetime of that machine, but no one does on any machine. So if I have a pretty educated reason to believe it hasn't hit in a while probability suggests it will soon.

I have a question that I hope you either respond to here or maybe even do a small video on this particular question. If every slot machine is random, and there is no predictor from the past, what is going to happen then why change machines why play machine for a few minutes and then leave it? Stating that nothing in the past indicates the future so you suggest 20 spins or a certain amount of spins of our choosing on a high volable game, but what’s the reason if the past doesn’t matter and the future is not being predicted what’s the purpose of changing machines? I hope this makes sense because a lot people change the machines because they’re hoping to find a good one that will hit, but there’s nothing that we can do to predict the head on any machine, according to the information you give out!

It means absolutely nothing - watch them in the video as they light up and then unlight. It's all an illusion :)

Here’s the current secret to the firecrackers. On the lower screen where it says “Good luck” “50” etc., if once you hit spin and only “win” is showing, then whatever colored rockets fall into the spin will set off that colored firecracker.

No we tend to stay away from keno as the odds of hitting all 20 number is so high, we may do a video next time we are in vegas

Most people can't understand what an acceptable profit is. For a slot or video poker game I stick with 20%. Once I make a 20% profit I will cash out. You also have to understand how much you can expect to win on any given machine and denomination. People want to put in $100 and double their money and that it completely unrealistic.
Love playing these machines i always go max 5 lines

@@kevinb4079 Those games are what I primarily play if they’re not taken. The free games are many times very disappointing but hold and spin can be very good even on smaller bets.
I have played several slot machines. I am not a max bet player, usually like on a 9 line max bet machine I usually bet 3 lines sometimes 5. It always happens a winning combination comes up on a line that I am not betting and its usually a high pay out combination. I am sure if i was betting the max that would not come up a winner. Is that true? Or would it have come up if i was betting the max bet?

Great video as always, but I am a little confused as to why you are playing a class 2 slot in a video about volatility? I was under the impression that when dealing with class two slots volatility is not an issue?
It still is, just somewhat different - Unfortuantely, Winstar World Casino has no low volatility Class 3 games in anything less than $25 denomination :(.
@@DrSchorHey DR DS,with Class 2 ( bingo machines) there is no volatility. I could be playing a Lightning Link game versus any other 3 Reel game and it doesn’t make a difference since the payout is based on a bingo card and not the slot machine itself.
Watch your site.. now for something different..why is it on 5 cent VP one gets more 4 of a kind then on 2 dollar denom or 5 dollar denom..where is the RG? Please explain. Thanks
It's just randomness making it seem like you get four of a kind more often on a lower bet. Or you are playing more hands. I've gone thousands of hands without a 4 of a kind on different denoms and have gotten 2 in 5 hands before. I think the odds of four of a kind are in the range of 1 in 412 but that's just your overall chances. Certainly doesnt mean to up your bet when you hit 400 hands without one.

No, according to the latest information I have, time of day or number of people playing has no impact.

Should have taken a shot of the rules on the firecracker game. I'm not sure that one actually says that the amount of firecrackers has no effect on your chances of getting a bonus. Even though I know it doesn't I found that some of the machines don't say that in the rules like dancing drums does. I used to do that 20 spin count thing when working a bank of buffaloe machines in my little local casino ,but I found myself always losing count so I ended up buying one of those little clicker things called a hand tally counter and clicking it every time I did a spin so I could keep track without having to remember where I was at in the count. Lol

@@GambleSmart I've been wandering around my local casino just checking rules on some of these visually teasing games and I don't find it a lot on some of them even though I know it's just a tease on a lot of them. I guess they don't have to put it in there. When it's there I show people I know, I would never show it to a stranger unless I wanted to get my head torn off, lol, but even the people I know keep right on playing them after I show it to them.
@@WildBillRidesAgain I looked on one of them(can’t remember which one) and the rules basically said that the size of the pot had no effect on whether the bonus would hit or not. It was probably Fu Dai Lian Lian, another very popular game. There’s so many of them now with similar visual effects.

Yes, it changes how fast your money disappears. All fast tapping does is speed up play.
Am I mistaken here or wouldn't it just be easy to pick a high value and only put the money you want to lose into the machine? If you don't want to lose $100 and plan to stop at $75, just put in $75 from the start.
@@DrSchor I'm not saying you want to lose, but the whole point of the video is to set a limit. He gave an example of X amount it but a limit of Y, and I'm just saying don't put it more than you're willing to lose from the start, so just start with Y.
These "slot techs" made it sound like you should stop at $20 up or down no matter what. This is not accurate. It should be based on your bet amount and set a limit based on that. They were only betting $1.25. If you were to set a limit of $20 but you were betting $5 or even $10 a spin, you would be done before you even got started even on a low volatility.
nah I'm spinning until I hit a bonus or lose whatever set amount ($100?) on high vol. (also I'm very much a losing slot player)
@@DrSchor bro there is no such thing as a winning slot player unless you hit a huge progressive and quit playing slots. I play because sometimes I put 100 dollars in and win 200 or 500.. but for every time I win 500 there are 6-7 times I lose 100. That's how it works. Keep a spreadsheet of everything you put in and everything you win.
