Yeah ateez are a really expressive group that’s what they’re known for, their performances are always crazy and you really feel the passion coming from them when they’re on stage.
The only problem with this dance practice is that it's really dark and the camera is a bit too far from the members. They did a regular MV, but I recommend the DejaVu Vampire Version Performance MV, which they dropped on Halloween, because you can see the dancing better than in the original MV (but still get to see some of their facial expressions). I was impressed that you noticed they have experience with krump even though this piece, as you said, is more expressive. They have some pieces that are more krump heavy than others, but there are often krump elements tucked into songs like this. I think it's one of the things that makes it so difficult for other groups to cover ATEEZ'S choreo well. If you haven't done The Real yet, I'd love to see your reaction to it. I'm not sure whether there's a dance practice, but there are live stages with full fancams (you'd just need to lower the opacity to avoid copyright issues). One of the fun features of the Real's choreo is that two ATEEZ members get to dance/freestyle at the end of each performance. It made watching multiple live stages fun. Thanks for the reaction!
There's a full cam version of Deja Vu/dance intro/The Real from SBS Gayo Daejeon ua-cam.com/video/MNrDymMuREc/v-deo.html then a4k full fancam of The Real from MusicCore ua-cam.com/video/u-b23AYmP7M/v-deo.html and finally the Inkigayo one (that one is my favourite because they went SO HARD, especially San who tore off half of his jacket sleeve even though he already had strategic cuts to allow for his wild moves ;)) ua-cam.com/video/iB7o-j15xVM/v-deo.html
YES YES MORE ATEEZ!!!! I recommend some of their pre-debut work! They used to be known as "KQ Fellaz" and there are I believe 4 videos called:"KQ Fellaz Performance Video"
so ateez, as they were training (i’ve seen comments on your older ateez reactions too, yes they’ve been taught how to krump!) - as they were training, they really put emphasis on the importance of - not just dance and song - but expression as well. so the fact you caught how expressive they are speaks volumes they’re known for their performances because they put 200% on actual live stages and their expressiveness on stage just ups tenfold. they don’t play, they’re here to give people a show and they do so again and again with each release
I love your reactions! I'm really excited for your reactions to The Boyz and more from Ateez and Seventeen. For Ateez, I would to see you react to the choreo for Answer, Say My Name and Pirate King. For Seventeen, Fallin' Flower, Don't Wanna Cry and Thanks. For The Boyz, No Air, The Stealer and D.D.D.
Ateez really wanted to have a much more mature concept with Deja Vu and they truly gave it to us! They are all amazing expressive not only with the choreo but also the face! Especially San! San on stage is referred to as "Demon San" bc his expressions are just that lol I am never disappointed with an Ateez mv or dance practice!
Oooh you should definitely check out their Fireworks dance practice, it's quite hard hitting & I personally like it a lot! Also, THANXX is pretty dope ^^
Ateez was actually supposed to be a dance group before they decided to become a kpop group, and all of the members individually are outstanding dancers. Thats why ateez feel much more like PERFORMERS in the full sense of the word rather than singers that can also dance. And since they already had such a strong foundation in dance, they trained to be incredible vocalists and rappers, that's why most of their choreos have pauses or slow down in certain parts, to allow their stage presence and voices to shine. If you want to know what ateez is about, watch their live dance covers and concert recordings, their facial expressions are on point. I would personally suggest watching a WIN concert performance, its unbelievable they did THAT while being rookies. I'm not trying to compare them, but they really remind me of bts's early years when they're on stage, they just exude that "we're about to become a problem" energy lmao Also yes, most of the members have basic knowledge of krumping, but one of them (san) is a full krump dancer. What's shocking about that is that he's the only member who had 0 background in dance before joining the group, he's just THAT dedicated and hardworking ig
Ateez are known for being incredibly expressive and passionate on stage. They aren’t the most in sync, but if you watch its because they have very expressive and passionate members who really get into the dancing or singing. They aren’t out of sync because they don’t do enough. Check out their practices for Say my Name, Wave, Hala Hala, Inception and Thanxx. I also reallllllly recommend their live stages on Kingdom: Legendary War.
There are two videos you should absolutely check out are the Kingdom: Legendary War performances!! Specifically "Wonderland" and Rhythm Ta"... Their expressions and intensity are what they are known for, and those performances are amazing!!!
most of ateez choreos are very krump inspired their choreographers bbtrippin are amazing and always give them legendary choreography, their member San in particular his style is very krump based and another member jongho is good at krump to,but they all generally have basic knowledge on it:)
hey! really like your reactions. one piece of advice i would love to give, totally don't have to use it though, is to angle your camera more to the side where you PC or laptop is, with you being more to the right. it will give you room to put the video on the left side of the screen. that way the video isn't cutting your face off and it gives the illusion that you are looking directly at the video. just a thought since i've watched a lot of your reactions and the video tends to cover your face, which is a fun part of your overall reaction
Thanks for the reaction! Please react to rocky (boxers ver.) also by them. It’s not a dance practice, but you can definitely see the choreography in it :) Edit: I would also recommend the music video for this song as well
Another great reaction, thank you. Will not give a list because I know, the one you have is already long. Just thinking of the "Then vs Now" you requested after BTS reaction.✌🏾 🤩
I hope we're not bombarding you with to much but here's some more. Jay B BTW dance practice video, also (old school) Jay Park X 1 Millions All I Wanna Do. JOY😊
