My favorite Daisy is without a doubt the modern 2002 version! What is yours? Let me know below! Thanks for watching guys! Make sure to subscribe! Cheers!
Interesting that the imagineer in charge of Articulated Daisy thought to give her eyelashes right on her working eyelids, but the one designing Articulated Minnie (as I commented on her video) missed this. Watching the two of them together, it's pretty clear Daisy's been endowed with superior eyelash-batting potential.
Donald would probably actually have to be in drag too (at least in cartoons, likely not in the parks). Apparently, quacking isn't something drakes are known to do.
Love the video! My fav Daisy is the modern one. Quick note, articulated Daisy debuted in 2006 on Feld's Disney Live "Mickey's Magic Show." Rarely used until 2016. Prior to that Christmas show, she debuted earlier that year on "Mickey's Friendship Faire." Hope this helps. Thanks for the mention on the description.
Hi Toast I didn’t think I’d see you here but anyways sadly Disney doesn’t care about Pete it’s a shame and there’s barley any merchandise the only thing I could recently find was a steamboat Pete plush such a shame they should make a costume meet and greet character and more merch.
The 2002 is by sure the better looking. If they can combine that with the articulated movements, I think it will be a nice win win overall. Daisy to me always had a more "expressive" look to her verses Donald. So I think giving her the cartoony look will make her stand out by far.
I never really saw Daisy in Disneyland. We have an old picture Daisy and Donald in a parade. I think it had something to do with Hunchback of Notre Dame because they were dressed in renaissance wear.
Without a doubt it's the current version with the articulation. Hoping they bring the articulate version two all the characters, after seeing Mickey at a meet and greet in the latest version the emotional response was overwhelming. So glad that the acquisition of technology that allows them to accomplish this has finally come to pass.
Costume? You mean body, right? She and the others ARE REAL; they just lived in a pocket dimension parallel to ours. The last two looks for her, therefore, are my favorite. The articulated versions should be used in meet-and-greets, 'cause I wanna talk to my favorite stars.
Although I like the modern Daisy, I think my favorite has to be the 1982 one- and that goes for Donald and Mickey and Minnie too. I remember seeing them on all my Disney parks sing-along videos, so they’re very dear to my heart.
I'm a massive Daisy fan, she's duck-tastic! Looking at this from my point of view as an artist, the best is the 2002 version as it's the closest to the beautiful Disney original, in eye structure, expression, prettiness and fluffy shape. The articulated one I don't like seeing the inside bit of the tongue, and the cartoony one of the 90s oddly enough isn't really like her. The early ones are obviously just as you say Donald with a couple of modifications. Really enjoyed watching this.
I think that there was a problem getting daisy into the parks as often as the other character because whenever I went to Disneyland (in Paris) it was really rare for people to find her and after having 5 days there I only saw her once.
Great video. Just one thing, Magica was invented around 1960 and featured in many Uncle Scrooge comics, where she was always trying to get Scrooge's lucky dime.
Donald and Daisy are a better couple than Mickey and Minnie. Mickey is nice to everyone, but Donald is a cranky hothead. So seeing him be nice to Daisy is very cute.
Yaaay, thanks for talking about Daisy ❤❤ My favorite version is the one from 2002 too. Maybe it's because I grew up with this version, but yeah, I really like it! The new articulated one is kinda nice too, I'd love to see it in person! Well, thanks again for your work, Dan! ❤
1972: cute 1978: That odd the baby face daisy 1982: i love the yellow bow 1995: very friendly and Very very very very cute and more cartoony duck 2002: love it 2016: daisy can blick and lip-synce cute 😍😍
The 2002 Daisy definitely looks the best, especially because she's wearing two of my favorite colors. :3 I've said this in past videos, but I would love to see you cover Winnie the Pooh's costume changes. Also, do you have any ideas for Disney history videos other than the history of the parks costumes? Not that I don't like seeing the costume history videos. I'm just curious. :)
Good to know a fellow historian! But a DISNEY historian?! That's a special bonus! Could you do an Alice DIStory at some point? She's one of my personal faves.
My favorite Daisy is without a doubt the modern 2002 version!
What is yours? Let me know below! Thanks for watching guys!

Disney Dan I just figured out the ducktales update is out September 23:)
Obvious. 2002 version.
+Patrick Duggan how did you do that??
Disney Dan now that you have done the sensational six characters aka Mickey and friends, please do the pixar characters
Disney Dan me too

My favorite part is knowing Donald was in drag. 😂
Donald would probably actually have to be in drag too (at least in cartoons, likely not in the parks). Apparently, quacking isn't something drakes are known to do.
I like your Max
Donald is the gayest!
What would RuPaul say??

The Evolution of Donald in Drag in Disney Theme Parks
Great Video Disney Dan! I just love this series. So, you've now covered Mickey's whole posse. Who's next? Is there a costume character of Pete?
sonictoast I didnt know you watched Disney Dan
Chris and Tory TV & Yoshii too of course. Disney Dan is the best.
BamBam Awesome channel thanks!
Alex thanx

I love this series and watch every single one as you come out with it. Extremely well-researched and interesting!
It's so cool how they've started using articulated heads. It just makes the experience more real for children
Between Daisy Duck and Princess Daisy, I'm beginning to feel that "Daisy" is becoming the standard name for the girlfriends of sidekicks.
So cool can you please do winne-the-pooh
I never really saw Daisy in Disneyland. We have an old picture Daisy and Donald in a parade. I think it had something to do with Hunchback of Notre Dame because they were dressed in renaissance wear.
Please do the history of the Winnie the Pooh characters or the princesses.
Daisy is so cute, except in 1995
+Haile_ Heart shhh don't tell anyone but he's next!
Yay!
@Heart AMVs yes in 1995 she’s creepy 😧
Week Disney Dan it’s in reply!
People who reply can see!!
The pink and purple daisy is the cutest by far
Kitana Kojima agreed
Love all characters at disneyland resort in Anaheim California and Florida at walt Disney world resort

Do buzz light year and woody in one episode since they basically came together 👀
Jb ice the only problem is that, did they evolve together in costumes designs like Chip and Dale did
Please do Pinocchio next
3 Wagging Tails yes Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket
Costume? You mean body, right? She and the others ARE REAL; they just lived in a pocket dimension parallel to ours.

Omg!
Daisy looked like classic Webby for a while there!
I'm a massive Daisy fan, she's duck-tastic! My favorite daisy is from 2002, it is very pretty and adorable, as I like it very much, it is very pretty, that version is very cool.
Daisy has always been my favorite, and I thought I was the only one so I was surprised with all the requests 😂 great video!
+Sympathetically Vibrating she's great!!
Your not the only one I love her as well
I forgot how much I love Daisy!! Definitely love the Daisy that is used in the parks today. (:
I think that there was a problem getting daisy into the parks as often as the other character because whenever I went to Disneyland (in Paris) it was really rare for people to find her and after having 5 days there I only saw her once.
Exactly! In 2016 I was really expecting daisy to be around somewhere, but it was really strange not finding her.
Great video. Just one thing, Magica was invented around 1960 and featured in many Uncle Scrooge comics, where she was always trying to get Scrooge's lucky dime.
Am I first?
First in my heart... but not first to comment.
No comments were showing up when I posted it, but it said 2 comments up top. lol
+packattack04082 UA-cam says you were third. Sorry. Lmao
packattack04082 I LIKE YOUR VIDEOS IT HELPS ME FINISH THE LEGO MOVIE: THE VIDEO GAME THANKS A LOT
Thanks Francisco! I'm glad they helped you out :)
Donald and Daisy are a better couple than Mickey and Minnie. Mickey is nice to everyone, but Donald is a cranky hothead. So seeing him be nice to Daisy is very cute.
I never saw Daisy wandering around Disneyland when I went there! Not on a parade, not at a meet and greet not in goofys kitchen, nowhere!
All of my favourite versions will always be the most recent ones. Those are the overall culmination of the costume's entire history
I’m dying for you to do this with one of the princess characters! I feel like Snow or someone has to have a lot of fun small detail switches!
This is my favorite series, I hope it continues~!
Happy 84th birthday Daisy (7/6/2021) 🎈🎂❤️🥳🎈🎂❤️🥳🎈🎂❤️🥳🎈🎈🎂🎂🥳🥳❤️❤️🎈🎈🎂🎂🥳🥳❤️❤️🎈🎂🥳
Daisy is one of my favorites
Yaaay, thanks for talking about Daisy ❤❤
My favorite version is the one from 2002 too. Maybe it's because I grew up with this version, but yeah, I really like it! The new articulated one is kinda nice too, I'd love to see it in person!

Daisy is my favorite. She doesn't take crap from Donald!
I love her 2002 look and her 1978 look but those eye brows XD
Daisy is so underrated
she really is. I love her (when she's handled correctly)

I honestly love the 2002 version, I mean that’s the one I grew up with.
The 2002 Daisy definitely looks the best, especially because she's wearing two of my favorite colors. :3 I've said this in past videos, but I would love to see you cover Winnie the Pooh's costume changes. Pinochio would be a good one to add to the series
Love the modern Daisy. Got to meet her in 2016 💗💗
Daisy’s eyes would blink like she was flattered 😂😅🤣
I just noticed that daisy's tounge is shaped as a heart, how cute 😄
Daisy you are know a DuckTales character!😆
I love the new one in the Christmas show I like that one wish you could blink cry like that
The 1995 ducks look like Howard the duck 😂😂😂😂
Alfie Davies That's hilarious! He's the duck for me! Oh lawdy I have the theme tune stuck in my head now. Great film must watch it again.
I would love to see you look at the changes to the Snow White costume and even her makeup over the years!
I got told off by Daisy Duck. She wagged her finger at me for pushing past three other kids 😂
Daisy is my second favorite Mickey Mouse character (Clarabelle is my favorite) and I think all of her costumes are adorable!
Please do Winnie the Pooh and friends!
Hey Disney Dan! Can you please do an evolution of Pinocchio? He's my favorite character and i never see pictures of him from the past! Thank you!
Like so that Dan can see!
You got your wish :)
All of the daisies are pretty good
Is there a video on the evolutions of the three fairies from Sleeping Beauty? Masked faces, large bodies, to unmasked faces and moving on scooters!
2002 has a heart-shaped tongue.
Daisy had an articulated head in the touring Disney Live show Mickey's Magic Show.
I wish they did an Uncle Scrooge costume and the nephews that would be awesome. 👍💙👍
2016 dasiy is my favorite
Go Daisy! she is one of my favs to meet.
What an amazing way to come home from school :D I get to watch another EP of DIStory!
Daisy never appeared in orginal DuckTales cartoon and Donald was a rare occurrence.
My
favorite evoluction perfect
Good to know a fellow historian!
But a DISNEY historian?! That's a special bonus!
Could you do an Alice DIStory at some point? She's one of my personal faves.
"Haven't you noticed she looks exactly like me but in drag"
I totally love this series. My fav was the modern articulated one. Could you please do Winnie the Pooh, tigger, Pinocchio or any of the princesses
Disney Dan my favorite is the current version of Daisy Duck
Another great video, Dan! I'd love to see a video on the Winnie the Pooh characters! :)
The early 1990s costumes made her look like Birdo.
I love this series!!!!!!!!!
I love the one who could blink her eyes and move her mouth up and down I like that one I love it like the Mickey one I like that one too
Wow Daisy was the first Walk-around character I ever saw when I went to Epcot in 2011 (or 2012) don't remember
you should do Tigger next
Daisy actually made her articulated debut in 2006 for Disney Live! Mickey’s Magic Show.
I believe the articulated head was also used in Disney Live but I could be wrong.
Would you do a tv show charcter evoloution of the fab 5 and chip n dale, talking about the changes of animation and character design
will you be doing evolutions of face characters too? i'd LOVE to see an evolution of snow white's costume throughout the years :)
Aw I’m so sad the Disney didn’t give that much attention to daisy she was always my favorite in the show
The new fur was.....

1995 Donald is nice but Daisy was kind of creepy
Great vid. I like 2016 Daisy, but why does no on like 1995 cartoon Daisy and Donald. I think they're cute.
Yay, finally! Next, you should do Pinnochio or Pooh
it's very funny at times
I loved seeing daisy duck when i was little
