    I liked your video, I like the fact that you took your time to explain and not in such a hurry, especially for someone who is just finding out about this machine. Thank you

    Your a wonderful teacher. I love your videos on the Legare. They are a blessing to me.
    I gladly would have paid for your videos as I will be using my machine without any personal instruction. You are the best. Thank you for helping.

      @@nworbal oh no problem. I'm grateful for these videos. I want a slotted yarn carrier like you have for my legare 400 :)

    Hello. Thank you so much for your teaching on CSM. What size is the cylinder and ribber you are using in this demonstration? Very helpful video.

    Wonderfully clear explanation. I, too, would be happy to pay for a CD of your videos.

    Great great video. I especially like the way you put the ribber needles in and it automatically picked up the yarn. I was shown some fiddly way to hook the latches together and way and why I still haven’t used my ribber🙁Definitely going to try your method.

      You are very welcome, I have tried the fiddly way - and - well... life is too short :)

    Can you give info on how to start the second sock- obviously you can’t just remove eon from the machine - do you have to then transfer stitches to the next needle so you can start the rubbing?

    Awesome Video!! clear step by step demonstration. I have one question do you still have to hand finish the ribbing when it comes off the machine? Will it not unravel?
    I am new to CSM and I am just learning about the ribber.
    Thank you so much for sharing your talent.
    Looking forward to more CSM tutorials.

      It's magic! 1x1 ribbing will not unravel... honest... I had to test this out when i started with sock machines and it's true... So, if you start a sock with 1x1 ribbing... that's pretty much done...

    Thank you for your excellent videos.
    What is a selvedge edge for the ribbing, and what is its use?
    Thank you and HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND YOURS.

    Great technique, wish I would have found this month ago. A bit hard to find because of the video title.

    It's kinda magic (well - no it's not, but it feels that way), if you do the ribbed selvedge - that end is done - no extra finishing...

    Is there another video on what to do after you do the ribbing, remove the ribber and how to put your needles back into the machine?

    • @nworbal
      @nworbal  5 років тому

      I can do that if that helps... there are a few different ways to transfer stitches between the ribber and the cylinder... Would that help?

    • @stitcherscottage
      @stitcherscottage 5 років тому

      nworbal That would be great if you could do that if it’s not too much trouble. I find there are a lot of videos about making different parts of a sock but sometimes it’s hard to find ones that take you through all the steps. You are an excellent instructor with great visuals. It was your three part series on how to set up a Legare that saved me when I received my machine all disassembled....lol. I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you 😊

      nworbal That would be great. Also not having much luck on how to time the ribber. Erlbacher has several videos but that’s for their machines and not always applicable. I belong to several CSM groups on Facebook and have shared your videos in their files. Thank you for your help and response.

    is this a 54 cylinder or a 72 cylinder, I am just learning my ribber and i can only use every 3rd needle on my ribber on my 54 cylinder other wise they hit the the needle on the cylinder.

    • @nworbal
      @nworbal  5 років тому +1

      This is a 72 cylinder with a 36 ribber. If you are using a 54 cylinder with a 36 ribber, you are correct you have to do it the way you describe.
