My father passed away four days ago, we both were watching every defqon, it was my dream to take him at this festival, we were listening hardstyle every day, this music made us happy always, now i listening to this alone, crying, but still feel better, this music is amazing, without this i would be dead inside, thanks to all great hardstyle creators, you helping me a lot.
My condolences. Hopefully you can visit this festival one day and fulfill the dream you both had.
Sorry for your loss, i also lost my mother in January, she also loved watching the defqon videos. I wish i could watch another with her :/

As professional pyrotechnician I can't tell you with words how much effort und love my colleagues put in this show. The quality of the effects is insane and pricey. This is high end stuff for the best private army in the world. ❤❤❤
What do you think this 20 min show cost? My guess is $100k for the pyro effects.

We traveled 2200km by van from Italy for a total of 28 hours to participate at Defqon.1. We slept probably 2 hours a night and during the day the heat was unbearable but I would leave again tomorrow because it was really insane. thank you mom Qdance, thanks to the French next door who didn't let us sleep with their music blaring, thanks to whoever made this happen🧡

We use have DEFQON Australia, but a few people died from overdoses & the government said no more !

1527 is already a masterpiece in itself, but synched with the endshow, it truly hits different 🥲
Definitely my highlight
It hit so damn hard at the front, I don't think I've ever seen that much energy in a crowd, and that was within the first full loop of the melody.
If there's a Sefa track that'll go much further than our community, it's this one. Like damn, that was a new rave anthem being unleashed onto the world.

We've traveled 2400 km totally from Gdansk, Poland by a van/bus. We've started our trip @ 4PM on Wednesday, then we've slept a few hours in tents in a small forest next to the German border. Woke up @ 4:30AM and traveled to NL. It was TOTALLY worth this time spent in a travel. And this endshow is in In my TOP3 life experiences. I was standing spellbound with my jaw open wide . Haven't even thought to take out my phone. See you next year!

Same here! first time there after watching it on a TV for years it was amazing to be there in the crowds during power-hour and the end show! So different so immersive! if you like this on TV i can recommend everyone to go there one day!

Waited 5 years to go since I was 13, now I had my chance to go and it was amazing, it felt so surreal. I cant put into words how this event makes me feel, all I can do is thank you for producing an amazing event and the memories that will last with me until the end.

The track by Atmozfears had all of us in the cabana in tears, the lights, the pyro, the beautiful track and the vibes was probably the most beautiful moment.
The last track is so hard. I mean, emotionally. That was my second Defqon, im 30 years old, and i cry like a 5 year old child. This is what other festivals dont give you. See you next year Weekend warriors!

This was my very first Defqon 1 experience and endshow. I had goosebumps all over my body during the whole endshow. Iam unable to describe this feeling but everyone should ever experience this. Even if you dont like the music.

Waited the right people to go to defqon1 since 2016 when i discovered casually on UA-cam. Was maybe the best weekend of my life, that end show makes me and my friends cry as a baby for emotions and happiness.
People and crows are on another levels love it soo much.

Not much of a Hardstyle fan, but do enjoy the music if I hear it. Mostly here for the spectacle of the show though! I absolutely love seeing these hardstyle concerts. I call them the "opera of EDM".
I hope that someday I could work on a show like this... not as designer, but as one of the techs setting up or operating it...

I'm dedicating this year's endshow song, The Soul to Leah Snowden, a hardstyle warrior who passed away a short while after Defqon.1 and left a piece of her soul at the holy grounds.
I feel it's a touching tribute for her love of hardstyle, and she wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else in the world other than Defqon.1

Amazing as always 😍. But I truly think last year endshow was in another level. Also, the red stage was much more meaningfull and emotional than this year. Nevertheless, we can't appreciate enough the work that q-dance put in this incredible firework shows. LOVE TO ALL WEKEEND WARRIORS 🧡🧡🧡
for me, they took stage inclusion to another level, putting those pillars between the crowd that actually matter in both the endshow and the closing ritual. Also fireworks were 360°, instead of the 270-ish last year
