Construction of my homemade RF Current Meter

I set out to duplicate the MFJ-854 RF Current Meter, but with a detached RF transformer to make for easier (physical) measurements.

If you had to make a choice, would you spend $100 for an RF current meter, or $10 for a tripod? After watching this video that's not such a tough decision. Nice cable clamp idea, though.
