Depends on the model, the OEM battery on my W221 only last 4 years. I experienced two OEM batteries on my W221, one lasted 4 years and one only lasted 3 years.
Hello. I have watched a lot of your videos and I have to admit that they are really professional. You certainly helped many people in repairing their car :-) I have a few things to do in the car myself (Mercedes W221 Facelift - M272) and I'm looking for a good guide. Watching your videos, I noticed that you have a Star Diagnosis computer. It's pretty hard to get in my country (Poland). I've been to Shenzhen a few times and I've been looking for such things, but in most cases you can buy universal computers - e.g. Launch. Maybe you know a website where you can buy such a computer in china? Now in my car I will replace the front airmatic shock absorber - and I would like to do it myself :-) But for this I probably need a star diagnosis computer. Unfortunately, I also have to replace the timing belt ... chain, tensioner, slides and balancing shaft ... but I probably won't do it myself ;-)
Thanks for your compliment🙏 The diagnosis system is cloned in China, and I bought it on eBay. You might search on the eBay, there’s many sellers selling it. Or you might try amzn.to/2SbcYMR, this is away better than universal diagnostic system.
Thanks and the H8 is too big to fit the battery space of W212, my W221 uses the H8 battery. The core charge is $15, once I return the old battery, I got the $15 back.
So detailed and uses a torque wrench for all bolts on both cars in all videos. Well done!

Mercedes OEM battery in this car is the best I've ever seen. Mine is 10 years old and still woks fine in my E350

Nope, because the storage of the ECU and the COMAND is EPROM, also there is a auxiliary battery under the left of the dashboard.
none of my electronics had to be readjusted, I have an auxiliary battery in the trunk

Yes, the MB’s transmission is very sensitive to the voltage. When start the car with a weak battery, that may cause the shifting problem.
