    I made this bracelet along with several other tricky little weaves using your tutorials. Once again I want to thank you for such nearly personal instruction. I actually sold a number of bracelets I learned to make as a result of your tutorials.
    Thanks for the time and effort you put in to make these vids. You are by far the best instructor in the craft online......

    I live in Southern Oregon on the Rouge River. This design is just what I've been looking for. It makes me think of rafting, which is the most popular thing to do here. I might use smaller white cord. Thank you for taking the time to allow me to follow you. You also explain, which helps me tremendously. Your videos are by far my favorite.

    Superb design and loved the clear demonstration ... Was so pleased with the first run through I gave it to my wife ... she was delighted. Keep up the great work. Thank you!

    I love this design. made mine with black loops, smoke cobra and gold tracks. used a whistle buckle with a double run of cord between the buckles for a wider bracelet. this is quick deploy for most of it's length when you pull out the runner track. i love it.

    Made one of these for my first paracord bracelet a few hours ago. Had to start over a few times because I didn't get the size right and one times I twisted the center strands without noticing and the fastening part (I used an adjustable shackle) was facing the wrong direction (with the curve away from the arm).
    In the end it turned out quite nice though.
    The colors I used where colonial blue (the part that twists left and right), charcoal and goldenrod for the accent.

    I figured out that if you use flattened paracord (take out the inner strands) for the one you used white for it makes the braclet a lot less bulky. but I love the bracelet it's a really nice design

    For the white cord, would it be easier to use fids to take the white under the red? This is probably now my new favorate tie because it is wide but not as wide as the Wide dragon tongue which was my previous favorate.
    Thanks for doing what you do, you make the best paracord bracletes that I have found.

    Hey thanks for your nice tutorial, i have tryed this and i think it looks very nice. There are only two thinks i try to change on it. The first one i changed is to use the same color on the both center layer and the both up layer. I think this looks better. The other thing is the beginn and the end of the braclet. I have some ideas but i have to try it first before i can say if it works or not. If you want i can show it to you after it figure it out. Greetz fromm germany and paracord on :-)

    You do great work, Iam new at this and dont understand how to figure out how much cord I need per inch of measurement. I dont want to be in middle of a bracelet and run out of cord, nor do I want to have to much access.. What do I do? Thanks for your help.

    • @terrapinrocks
      @terrapinrocks 7 років тому

      Use more than you need and then measure your scraps when you're done. If you started with 6 feet, made a 7" bracelet, and ended up with two extra feet at the end then you know to only use a little over 4 feet next time make a 7" bracelet (you need a little extra to pull things tight). Another inch of cobra weave usually takes another foot of paracord and you also need to add extra when doubling over. I hope that helps.

    Hey! speaking of the end of the bracelet... I finished it without the solomon part, because I didn't like it that way. I laid the 2 white cords over the charcoal one and singed the whities on the back. I also did this with the charcoal and the red one also singeing it on the back. It lookes great because this way it doesn't disturb the look of the bracelet and its pattern isn't interrupted. Thus it perfectly matches the beginning. Wish I could explain it to you better... Hope you know what i mean - just try it out, you'll be amazed :))
