Graham hancock explains that if you multiple be height and the width of one of the great pyramids by a certain number you get the circumfrence and the diameter of the earth (might be mixing it up its been a while since ive heard this one.) Not only do they give you the exact measurements of the earth the pyramids are also aligned to true north by like 1/12th of a degree so pretty much it was perfectly aligned with true north and over the course of over 10,000 years it went of every so slightly. His theory is there was an entire advanced civilization with extremely advanced technologies we don't understand yet that was completely obliterated by a cataclysmic event. Only time will tell.
Yes, some of Grahams books are filled with stuff like this. There definitely was some sort of a catastrophe back then in the younger dryas that might have wiped civilisations, but he likes to think of myths as almost true facts and builds his stories so they fit perfectly with all the myths - that's where a lot of his criticism comes from.
