doesn't it make more sense if i buy a normal monthly pass or a weekly pass? Even if you get a 30% discount, I think you pay more with the student oyster card. On the other hand, I pay between 35-40 pounds for a weekly pass, for example, and can use all public transport without limits for a week. Or am I wrong?

But oyster option is good for those who are not travelling regularly. And is valid for 1 year
