For a guy smart enough to create life, this doctor seriously didn’t think his violent, easily angered creation might be just a little peeved if he stole his girl
Right why not have him assist in helping so she can start to recognize him/imprint him as good or a friend so they can actually start to see if they can love each other; 1:14 doc coulda/shoulda had Eric introduced himself in obviously less terrifying way especially since she was just reborn/created and knows absolutely nothing about anything.
@@masoncourteoreille6767 Imagine: The doctor told and teach Eric not to greet in such a manner and calmly introduce himself, and even let Eric take a moment to let his bride calmful and less scared by coming to him then have her as his pleasure toy.
At least Victor Frankenstein in the original book knew that creating a mate for The Creature was doomed to fail. Although he'd damn himself to The Creature's vengeance if he didn't commit to creating The Bride, he'd rather destroy her than create her with a great chance of creating another Creature that's just as miserable or worse, or she rejects The Creature anyway and their plan would've been for nothing.
Bride literally has been showing him that she never share the same feelings for over 200 years and yet he still refused to see the reality of it. (He has a lot of issues about himself) -Overreacting -Delusional -Hard-headed -Thinking about himself
He projects his ideas of love and anxieties to others. His understanding of the world is based around his relationship with the Bride, no morality, ethics. He's the ultimate "nice guy", who thinks he "deserves" love like he gives it.
I've never seen a character in something that simultaneously made me really uncomfortable, yet found insanely entertaining every time he appeared on screen
The first sequence shown in the video is directly taken from the Frankenstein book. And god do I love book Monster so so much. He's just a simple man placed in the body of a monster, and he's wracked with both a hatred for his creator and also a desire for love and affection. Its so palpable and deep.
@@powertheimmortal well she's not a person. She's a monster made up of body parts that don't belong to her. None of what she is is rightfully hers. Not to mention it's REALLY weird to fuck someone who you taught how to talk and walk and whatnot like a child. There's no justifying their relationship because it's literal necrophilia as well as grooming.
@powertheimmortal she's not a person. She's a collection of body parts that don't belong to her and he's a weird creep who taught her how to talk and function like a father and then had sex with it.
@@powertheimmortal Honestly, I'd argue the fact that he essentially raised her from pseudo-childhood and eventually slept with her is what's wrong rather than (rightfully) treating her as a human being. Nevermind that he was married and had a kid when he had his little affair with her.
I wanna see what Season 2 will bring with Eric's antics! I'm curious to see if he does anything heroic-not to his eyes or his mind-but something that catches Waller's or Flag Sr.'s eyes and either of them recruits him into the Squad either on a temp basis or permanent when the Squad is on a mission somewhere in the world. It would be interesting to see how Eric will adjust to a super prison life-in his mind he might not think that he is going into prison but more of getting closer to the Bride-think of it if he accepts Waller or Flag Sr.'s position on the squad he will think the Bride wants him back due to(in his mind) a misunderstanding or his version of a game(since he talks of her fleeing from him over the centuries as a game) and wants to be with him everyday. If Victor had Eric help him in making the bride-not just the body parts he may have picked out himself(creepy!) and took things slowly when she was created then eventually they would have a relationship-but the way Eric acts-basically like a crazed toddler who thinks everything is his for the taking-the Bride would fight Eric til she found a permanent way to kill him for good, perhaps if she would take his head off or severed his spinal cord where he would never heal?
Besides the fact that he's a creepy undead stalker, i still understand his view He feels alone and unloved because he doesn't have someone, it's kinda sad when you feel the need to fulfill the empty "hole" inside you

I Honestly felt so bad for Eric... i mean, you can tell he has the Mentality of a 12 year old, if not even younger in many ways. *ALL* He wanted was the love of the Bride.. literally. he chased her for HOW many Goddamn years?! and Dr Frankenstein literally stole her from him, he taught her far better than he did Eric... probably because she was his second try, so he knew more. probably didn't use an "Abby Something" Brain on her, either.

you know the one thing that got on my nerves was the way that they depicted circe’s army and this guy. like MRA does have valid points, and male loneliness is becoming a huge issue, and I feel like characters like this are an attempt to smear real people.
Buddy you made that connection on your own. This means that you have recognized certain similarities between how Eric acts and at least some MRAs. And because you disliked that truth your immediate response was to censor it.

he made 2 children, didin't teach them anything right, and fucked one of them
Neither did he think about creating a second one for himself. Not ecactly morally sound either, but not head-scratchingly stupid.

This is like an abridges series, they keep the plot but the dialogue is top tier
You know when you see a character you hate/dislike but you love how theyre written?
David Harbour did an amazing job!
Narcissistic, self-centered, sociopathic tendencies aside he's kind guy.
A monster
@@melteddarkchocolate000 A monster that has yet to know or wasn't taught
He’s polite yes but I would not say kind
He likely think he is "nice"
you should check his comic book version he's both a good guy and a complete badass
Nice to see that Creature Commandos actually got a more book accurate version of The Creature.

I would love to see Eric and Rick flag develop a proper bromance and hopefully that frees the bride
You realize that he only tried to use Flag?
So im just gonna say victorwas kind of a huge weirdo for sleeping with a corpse anyway
And yet he has a wife and kids himself.
And yet here he is banging the very wife that his stitched up creation asked for.

Im surprised if don't hate this guy. LMAO!
Yo the doctor is the messed up one idk why y’all get it confused the monster is just that, a monster
so frankenstein's monsters just an incel
yup a child in a man's body who wasn't tought manners and ethics
Always has been
What happens when he got what he wanted instead of what happens in the book where he's just rejected by Victor constantly

I rather prefer Dc Comic - Prime Earth over Frankenstein over this creep tbh

No. A made up language called Pokolistani
It's not romanian

Eric?

It's a character that acts like a child. crybaby moments
thats how the original Frankenstein was
I wrote this show off. But I kept watching. It's great.
