A few things to note : #1 - I wouldn't normally use this for recorded lead tones. I would use plugins. #2 - If i re-recorded this I would have cranked the volume on the amp a lot more and moved more air. Just know the sound of the amp in the room is far superior to the sound of it close mic'ed as far as distorted lead tones go. #3 - The tone of the amp at low volumes and mic'ed in the same way for clean tones and acoustic tones this thing really shines.
I would like to upload the backing tracks I use for my own personal performances here but it could be tricky. There are a lot of chord changes and it can be quite hard to follow. (that's the point for me, little puzzles for me to find melodies inside of) Not sure how to title it or what sort of infographic information to include. Probably a static infographic with the basic song structure and suggested scales / chords. Hope you enjoy.

Yes, this amp sounds great. It is loud. I had the MKII 50. The issue for me was, there is so much stuff! So many settings, so many knobs. Then you can connect with your computer. The software is very easy to use, but there's so much stuff. You can download tones. Very cool, but not what I need. I traded it in for an EVH Iconic 15. Even that was too much stuff for me. I returned that and got a Blues Junior IV. It's perfect. Simple and easy to use a pedal or two. I have a Duke of Tone. Sounds amazing. I play a Les Paul Deluxe, Epiphone 335 and 339, Baretta Special. There's something about a tube amp that I love.

I agree, there is no substitute for a tube amp. The amount of pedals I would need for a lead tone seems staggering, though. I would need compressor, boost, mod reverb, and two delays. I don't think that's practical for my application which is just showing up to open mics & plugging in and setup and teardown as quickly as possible. Maybe one day I will get back into collecting tube amps but the plugins are so good now :)

Great playing man ! Frankly I have never heard a Katana sound so favorable. Most demos sound flat and sterile. Keep doing whatever you're doing !
