You might also want to test that plastic cover with me scraps to see if the fuel eats away at it if drops are spilled. As you know, not all plastic resists petrochemicals the same way.

Great work, looks like the cap is just lying there on the trunk floor. :D

Hey mate you could try some of that foam adhesive stripping around the outside perimeter to keep the wind noise down or even some vaccumm hose on the edge of the plastic if you got a lil extra room.

Yep, I will use something like this to seal it. Unsure of how to secure it to the car though.. I really hate self tappers.

Built Not Bought TV rivnuts could be ideal, however will obviously protrude somewhat.

What about suspension travel would pull that cap right off did not show vent tube which was flow to line and return

The tank is bolted to the chassis (trunk floor). Suspension travel has no affect here.

Looks very slick but I don't see how you will fill it up without spilling some drops of fuel in your trunk.

But who doesn't love the smell of e85 going down the road? (:

I am a wanting to use the same fuel cell at you. I am cursors what modifications you had to make to get your pump in tank. If you have any more pictures or into, I’d love to hear it!

I did some pretty big modifications to do that. Basically, I welded a sending unit to the bottom of the fuel cells center metal piece. So it had a baffle and a fuel pump mounted to it

Literally go to 4:20 in this video and you’ll see it

Stewart Motoring I’ve had a screen shot of 4:21 for a while now haha, just wasn’t sure what came with the set up to start you know. I’m pretty sure I understand what you had to do now. Thanks man!

I gotta say I dont think the cell looks good from the back. The z car doesnt have any sharp straight lines so the fuel cell will stick out looking at it from the rear. I would hide it if it were mine.
