Hannah. You’ve got a wonderful road ahead of you. I’m British and my first season of Big Brother US was season 6 and Survivor season 18. Start with those hun!
Every time I am reminded of the Final 6 PB of BB13 followed by the "fishiest" veto competition placement I've ever seen I want to scream. Now that I'm older and more mature as well as seeing how rigged BB13 was, my entire outlook on that season flipped and I do not place any blame on Rachel/Jordan but I will never forgive production for ruining the integrity of the game for the sake of having one of their pets win
There's also been rumours that Shelley was told by Production about the threats fans were making towards her family, and that forced her to ultimately vote for Rachel in the F2 instead of Porsche in an attempt to calm them down.
@@SpanishFly120 Somehow I don't believe those rumors, because Shelly seemed like the most objective/impartial person on that jury, and I could see her genuinely respecting Rachel's ability to comp out and win whenever she was in danger
I specifically remember Karen's speech about how she worked her social game and I think she mentioned making quesadillas for drunk houseguests at 4am even though she didn't drink herself. I used to say to myself if I ever played a game of Big Brother 'be the kind of houseguest who makes quesadillas at 4AM' - but I totally forgot about her when I was thinking of underrated houseguests! A true example of underrated. Love your work.
After listening to your explanation of her game, I'm actually glad you included Karen from BB5. Although she was more of the demure personality on that season, she was actively playing the game and did a good job of not presenting herself to be a huge threat because she was more demure by nature in comparison to the likes of louder or more notable personalities like Jase, Scott, Diane, Marvin, Holly, etc. Plus, her monologue at 2:56, I remember being like "yes, yes, YESS, speak on it" - she was probably the first person from old school BB to articulate the importance of jury management - especially considering BB5 was the second season in BB history to have implemented the sequestered jury.
They have their good parts and bad parts. 19 and 21 were def bad but still pretty entertaining at times. The only modern season I truly just didn't enjoy was 22. It would've been so different with Kaycee and Josh AND without Memphis.

Love your channel. I recently watched seasons 2 through 5 for the first time and man those seasons are actually so good to watch compared to recent seasons. BB2 and BB4 are actually up there for me as one of best seasons. I completely agree with Karen and i think she should of actually been higher cause noone talks about her or knows her. I figured shed be an early eviction cause i didnt know who she was.
Hey presidium. I know it’s big brother season but I have an amazing video idea you can do! You chose a season of big brother or survivor. Than chose a vital point within that season. (For this example I will chose Yul’s vote out at WAW). You then go through and explain what you think would happen the rest of the season if, in this case Yul made it to the merge.
Surprised Haleigh wasn’t on the list, she knew exactly that Tyler was running the game and tried so hard to destroy Level 6, but twists really screw her over. Without the Hacker twist and Fessy being stupid by evicting Scottie. She has a good chance of riding to the end.
What works against her was not having more guidance with Fessy during his HoH week. The hacker twist worked in Level’s 6 favor due to Rockstar bombing the Otev veto comp as badly as she did. otherwise, the twist likely would have work as intended I believe (crank up the antics between the two side without the Hacker abilities actually effectively getting used. Haleigh’s mismanagement of her hacker week that led to that house meeting turned fight is a good example of what I think the production was hoping would happen with twist and not working as intended) Haleigh has a lot of potential, especially with being more perceptive with what was going on with the other side of the house, but she could have handled and done things a lot better as well.
i agree with the person above i'm not putting the blame on haleigh for the scottie thing but she knew he was on their side and didn't do much to prevent him from going besides a few comments like 'idk i think he's on our side' fessy was in her back pocket jc could control fessy so his showmance directing him on the right path wouldn't be hard if she just fought for it more that's what annoyed me the most that week that not only fessy wanted him up but haleigh didn't do much to prevent it so while i wouldn't say she's to blame for the scottie thing, a better player would have talked their closest ally (who would literally listen to your every word) out of doing something that dumb and yeah, haleigh managed the hacker thin very poorly she was the best of the hive but that's not saying much lol
My most underrated player is definitely Nicole S from BB2. I definitely think that Shelly is very underrated as well, but I see more people talk about Shelly. Big BB fans still talk about how Shelly was robbed. I don’t really see anyone mention Nicole or Hardy anymore.
Hey Peridiam, would you do a video about the top 10 Big Brother cast members that we lost pre-jury who deserve a second chance... I'd personally love to see people like Nick Uhas, Howard, Devin, Cassi, Amber, Clay, Jessica, Dominique, Winston, and Rachel play in a newer season!
I appreciate Sheila as a player but I can’t say she’s the best player in BB9. Adam was definitely the better player, even though he’s a winner I think he’s very underrated. His worst moments were first half of week 1 and final 6 nominations but other than that he did a great job at threat level management and had the best social game in the house.
okay, so I just finished watching the first season of Australian survivor and like whaaaaaaat!! Can we please have a video on her and how she won. Like she had no numbers going into the merge and was nearly voted out like 3 times. I was blown away lol. And her FTC... prob one of the best ever.
Season 13 as a whole was very underrated. It’s my favorite to watch. Maybe because it’s my first season watching, so I’m a little bias. But the newbie vs veteran structure was amazing. The season would have been so much better had 1. There was no battle back 2. In the event of a battle back Kalia stuck to her guns and didn’t nominate Lawon and 3. That damn Pandora’s box😡
Hey Peridiam, I am a 20 year old hoping to play big brother in my life. I find your videos so helpful and entertaining thank you for making them. Is there any advice you would have for what people should do it get on big brother or maybe make a video for bb hopefulls and how we should think trying out for the show. I know you probably won’t see this but thankful for your content thanks
What you’ve just proved Peridiam is that Big Brother 9 is the most underrated season. I’m currently re watching this and it’s bringing me so much joy. Just one question though. Why isn’t Michelle from BB11 mentioned in your top 10 most underrated players ever?! Is she top 20? I loved season 11 as she was the ultimate underdog! ❤️
There’s two OTT people that I feel are underrated The winner Morgan Willet and Kryssie Morgan always had a good chance of winning that season americas vote or Jury vote. She was positioned in a way where if she made final 3 or final 2 she could easily win no matter what And Kryssie just played well imo and was a strategic force who played with her alliance well
I wish CBS didnt pretend that OTT never happened. I would love to see Morgan return, or honestly any of the OTT cast. It is genuinely my favorite cast ever. The only person I disliked was Jason, and even he had his entertaining moments. Such an underrated season that so many BB fans havent seen, mainly because whenever you type it in on Paramount+, it doesnt show up 😭 You literally have to Google it and then click the Paramount link through Google. I wonder why CBS hates it sm
I don't know where else to ask this but what are your thoughts about Big Brother Canada? And Who do you think are the best players? And where would you rank them among all NA BB players?
Hey, Peridiam, did you ever think of trying out for BB? Would be pretty legendary to see you in the house. And you'd be an instant fan favourite, so production would cheat for you, lol.
Besides Karen, Im surprised by a lot of the choices on here. I haven't watched those earlier seasons in a while but you made a compelling argument for those ppl.
I’m low key shocked Brett wasn’t mentioned on the list, the fact that he was able to survive evictions while being considered a threat was pretty impressive.
Brett is interesting in whether or not he is really underrated. Compared to the whole house, Brett is definitely not underrated. As a member of Level 6, that is where the argument comes in since things get overdo use on the trio of Tyler, Kaycee, and Angela. Also, Tyler selling out blindsiding Brett is considered a strong move to where I think the opposite and starts to shed light on why Tyler losing to Kaycee is valid (that was showing Tyler was more interested in doing what Kaycee and Angela wanted instead of conveying, notably to the jury what was better for his individual game.
I feel like that was due to Brett being in the majority alliance, not based on Brett's gameplay specifically Good on him for being able to form the majority alliance, but he didn't really do much to avoid eviction besides that
@@TheKYLEdavid One disagreement with that is with Brett’s eviction speeches. While he did benefit from being in the majority alliance, he used it as both to capitalize from being on the block (I.e. Rockstar), (and it is uncommon for a player to use being on the block as a strength) as well as giving his side every incentive to keep him around for as long as possible, like keeping him over Rachel by drawing attention to himself.

Taran mention Karen as an underrated player today. I was unaware of how good she was!!
Jozea in the thumbnail prompted me to click this video
Please do a top ten best big brother players all time
Hey presidium.
Presidium? 😂
you should do a bbcan version of this as well!
When Jerry called himself an alpha male 😂
Thats my grandpa he still thinks he is at the age of 88
I was sad when Karen was evicted. It was the first full season I watched. I had seen some of bb4.
I need more Survivor content. I have actually never watched Big Brother and have no idea what you’re talking about half of the time
didn’t realize all the north new jersey people on the early seasons of BB
Haleigh’s mismanagement of her hacker week that led to that house meeting turned fight is a good example of what I think the production was hoping would happen with twist and not working as intended)
Haleigh has a lot of potential, especially with being more perceptive with what was going on with the other side of the house, but she could have handled and done things a lot better as well.
i agree with the person above
i'm not putting the blame on haleigh for the scottie thing but she knew he was on their side and didn't do much to prevent him from going besides a few comments like 'idk i think he's on our side'
fessy was in her back pocket
jc could control fessy so his showmance directing him on the right path wouldn't be hard if she just fought for it more
that's what annoyed me the most that week that not only fessy wanted him up but haleigh didn't do much to prevent it
so while i wouldn't say she's to blame for the scottie thing, a better player would have talked their closest ally (who would literally listen to your every word) out of doing something that dumb
and yeah, haleigh managed the hacker thin very poorly
she was the best of the hive but that's not saying much lol
I agree, Haleigh was great
I actually love Shelly. Glad she finally got some credit.
Roddy was so charismatic and incredibly manipulative.
Yeah I’d love to!
YES SHELLY APPRECIATION
Holly from bb5 was featured for .6 seconds in this vid and that’s enough for me
3:48 Invented jury management
Paul needs to watch that clip
Will*
Shelby is a great pick! I’ve always wanted to see her return. Season 13 was completely rigged!
Agree Adam is a great winner. Look no further than his face when Jacob sinks his own game. His only misstep was saying retard on national TV lol
Cliff imo not the most underrated player but he deserves to be on this list he’s a literal king
16:55 I see that Among Us terminology coming through
Yaaaaas king
Which one??
@@bernardoleal9750 "marinated"
okay, so I just finished watching the first season of Australian survivor and like whaaaaaaat!! Can we please have a video on her and how she won. Like she had no numbers going into the merge and was nearly voted out like 3 times. I was blown away lol. And her FTC... prob one of the best ever.
Love you Peridiam
Thank you! Finally someone else recognizes Shelly Moore
CHRISTIE HELEN & FRANKIE ARE 100% UNDERRATED
What you’ve just proved Peridiam is that Big Brother 9 is the most underrated season. I’m currently re watching this and it’s bringing me so much joy.
Just one question though. Why isn’t Michelle from BB11 mentioned in your top 10 most underrated players ever?! Is she top 20? I loved season 11 as she was the ultimate underdog! ❤️
I think she’s Top 20.
Definitely agree with Roddy, dude is super underrated
There’s two OTT people that I feel are underrated
The winner Morgan Willet and Kryssie
Morgan always had a good chance of winning that season americas vote or Jury vote. She was positioned in a way where if she made final 3 or final 2 she could easily win no matter what
And Kryssie just played well imo and was a strategic force who played with her alliance well
I wish CBS didnt pretend that OTT never happened.
Can you do a BBCAN version?
LOVE that Shelly go is the respect that she deserves.
Hardy Ames-Hill is my favorite Male player in the history of the show!! I named a Parakeet after him in my youth..
Last time I was this late, I was early for the next day.
I would’ve killed for a segment on Natalie Negrotti
I don't know where else to ask this but what are your thoughts about Big Brother Canada? And Who do you think are the best players? And where would you rank them among all NA BB players?
You know Shelly's a f'real one cause she called the double eviction a "Fast Forward."
I noticed that too!
I luv u peridiam, amazing list
I’m low key shocked Brett wasn’t mentioned on the list, the fact that he was able to survive evictions while being considered a threat was pretty impressive.
He was an honorable mention
Brett is interesting in whether or not he is really underrated. Compared to the whole house, Brett is definitely not underrated. As a member of Level 6, that is where the argument comes in since things get overdo use on the trio of Tyler, Kaycee, and Angela. Also, Tyler selling out blindsiding Brett is considered a strong move to where I think the opposite and starts to shed light on why Tyler losing to Kaycee is valid (that was showing Tyler was more interested in doing what Kaycee and Angela wanted instead of conveying, notably to the jury what was better for his individual game.
I feel like that was due to Brett being in the majority alliance, not based on Brett's gameplay specifically
Good on him for being able to form the majority alliance, but he didn't really do much to avoid eviction besides that
@@TheKYLEdavid One disagreement with that is with Brett’s eviction speeches.
Make a video of if the final hoh format is the best for the final 3
I would say the entire BB9 season is underrated (i.e. forgotten)
michelle noonan.
Top 10 Underrated in my opinion:
10. Sheila (Season 9
9. Sharon (Season 9)
8. Shelly (Season 13)
7. Helen (Season 15)
6. Kalia (Season 13)
5. Ragan (Season 12)
4. Libra (Season 10)
3. Alison (Season 4)
2. Jessica (Season 8)
1. Natalie (Season 11)
Honourable Mentions - Jessie (Season 15), Chima (Season 9), Brittany (Season 16) and Wil (Season 14)
Natalie had awful jury management
Big Brother 4 Robert is a pretty decent player and is barely talked about I think he is one of the most Underrated Players
Fax
Why? What did he do besides tag along with Jee and Justin? Not trying to be argumentative just trying to see what I’m missing.
@@TheKyoshiFan He didnt do anything too fancy He played a decent game He got along with Most of the Jury He won Competitions He just did Decent He was going to win if he made it to the final 2
@@nicholashamilton6783 true, he would have won in final 2, but that was mostly because he was a single father. And that Alison and Jun were hated. Social game was decent for sure, but I felt strategically and competitively he didn’t bring much to the table 🤷🏻♀️
He did win that crucial final 4 HOH so that was cool.
@@TheKyoshiFan I can agree with most of what you said Strategically yeah I didnt see too much there but He did win 2 vetos and a hoh when it was needed but His main thing was Social Game which was fairly decent
WATCHING THIS MAKES ME HATE BB13!!
Too bad so sad
Karen!!! She is in my top 3 of underrated players.
Are you really convincing me to watch season 9 again? Season 9? I haven't watched that season since it aired, but I guess here we go again
Tbh it isnt so bad, although has an unlikeable cast, at least its not boring. A lot happens
