I have seen several videos of Shivamani ..To me all videos seems similar . he plays the same grooves over again and again ..he can go with variety of playings there are good sounding samba's afro cubans .. ostinatos .. Metric Modulation .. Poly rhythm.. there are quite a lott .. :(
Does someone know the name of the triple toms he has in between that gives the Thavil tone or somewhat close to Thavil. That three drums in one single frame is what I am talking about. Please let me know if someone knows about it.

I really find it irritating.. when people stand with cameras/mobile phones when a legend is performing... i mean its o.k if you are a cameraman well then that's your job, otherwise the artist is performing for "You" , and here you are busy holding a camera making a cheap copy of what is a surreal experience..
