You mean the draggy piece of shit chassis that only turned because they stacked tons and tons of downforce on it? Redbull's chassis is an actual efficient chassis
Indeed... And they said Alonso didn't know how to interact with the car so that the engineers could improve its weaknesses ;_) Where are all those haters now that McLaren developed an incredibly good chasis with Nando?
When I see that in mid 2018, I'm really wondering if the "best chassis" claims that made McLaren last year are, instead of being fully true (hello Red Bull, hello Mr Newey) are at least realistic. When you see how much speed Alonso carries through the corners and how early he can go on the throttle... Damn, if the Halo haven't been made mandatory for 2018, maybe they could have continue to progress on that chassis in 2018... It's sad when I see the MCL33's lack of chassis performance :(
Statman and Co. The Mcl33 was one of McLarens most laughable cars, and ugly af aswell. Such a joke how many shitty cars alonso had to cope with throughout his car
Lmao that car has so much drag it only compounded the problems of the engine, wanna know why they didn't suceeed with the Renault? Because it's also draggy and slow, not because the honda is somehow the absolute undrivable trash that they make it out to be
Funny how this aged, look how successful Honda has been compared to Mclaren. Yes Honda had their issues but as soon as they got away from Mclaren, they were able to get on top of it.
I feel the issue that McLaren forced Honda to work according to their design back then rather than working together to accommodate both ideas in making the car. Iirc, Red Bull designed their car to fit the Honda engine into the car as opposed to what McLaren did. Making the engine fit the car instead.
Perfect lap. With another engine p1 or p2
The McLaren chassis is wonderful

Perfect lap!!!! Amazing alonso
Seems just wonderfully balanced!

Fernando the BEST
The engine feels good much slower Than before

they didn't had a great chassis, all they did is putting maximum downforce on the front wing and rear wing and blaming honda for the shit top speed.

I’m late but they never had the best chassis, McLaren is a joke now

Would have been a pole with ferrari
buen manejo pero con otro coche seria mejor
No hace falta otro coche, colócale un motor Mercedes o Ferrari, y se sale. El mejor del mundo con diferencia.

I don't think could be done better... on this car of course
Definition of tractor.
Never thought they had a long gear ratio in here...
Theo225 depended the track
Finished
A bit more front wing and shorter gear would have been much better for this car.
what tv channel do you record this on? rare to see alonso onboard. thanks
I believe this is F1 TV PRO or something

Probably, your brain........ ....... ......
