Would love to see this place someday. It makes me emotional. My Grandfather landed on this beach during WWII as a member of The U.S./Canada First Special Service Force (The Black Devil's). He was attached to General Mark Clarke's 5th American Army. He participated in The Breakout from Anzio,He was also at The Mussolini Canal,The Gustav Line,The Battle for Monte La Difensa and The liberation of Rome.

Every one hour's train from
Roma Termini to Anzio (Lazio) and it takes just 1 hour. And 10 to 15 minutes walking distance from Anzio train station to beach. Also best for children. Because water lavel is very less so kids very injoy the beach. There are free beach and also paybel with bed/Lettino. I like anzio Beach. Ticket price for one adult is 03.60 Euro one side.
