Hi!! I am thinking of getting a dog and I love how the Lapponian herder looks. Ofc it’s not about the looks, but the personality and I have done som reading. But it’s not that much information so I will ask you. I am a active and social person who love animals. Is this a good dog for me? 1. Im at school from like 8:30 AM - 3 PM. Can the dog be home alone? 2. If not, my mom and dad works at a office. Is the dog a good dog for just laying down or something beside while they work? My mom or dad walks to job and it takes 30 minutes, so if it’s 30 minutes till and back will that be good walking for the dog? Of course I will walk the dog in morning and nights and go on bigger walks in the weekends like being i. Forest or mountains. 3. We have never owned a dog before but my dad has experience with dogs because his sister and friends have dogs. My 3 closest friends also have dogs which I like to be with. So the question is the dog a good starter dog/ good first time dog? 4. Is it easy to train? 5. Does it do well with strangers? 6. Is the breed cozy/cuddly? 7. Can it swim well? 8. Is it good socialising with other dogs? 9. Obedient level 1-10 10. Good with kids 11.
