Ryan has motivated me. compelled me. moved me. he kick started my entire life. I was ready to give up. until i learned the main 3 points to disco. head. bounce. attitude. to this day. 9 years after this video was released i still remember these 3 points. bounce. head. attitude. thank you Ryan sincerely Michael
why are people disliking?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! this is so rude!!!!!!! he's just living his best life trying to spread his knowledge about disco. You will regret this when everyone who takes this advice is looking much more cool than you are. i said STOP. ✋
Watching this video in 2019 for research for a disco style dance I'm choreographing. Couldn't help but laugh when he says "Any old hot dog vendor could learn these moves"
I'm reading the comments and i want to know if these people know that these are old dance moves and not dances from now? I'm just wondering cause they don't seem to understand to well
I know that but I'm also laughing here. I guess because he says things like "these are the movements to look cool" or to have attitude, haha. The reason for people dance this kind of music is to have fun even being weird today.
Ryan - Thank you so much! We were planning to go to a Disco in Buffalo, NY. I can't dance, but wanted to learn. Your video was the 1st one that came up in my search and it was amazing. You simplified it, exit, exit, pass the dishes, mouse hole, bounce, head, attitude, etc... Your video transformed a very insecure guy into a dancing machine! :) You made it so simple I was able to teach others that night and they did excellent too. Thanks for taking something complex (to me) and presenting it in a very easy to follow and easy to remember manner.
Love ur video! Thank u. It helps to break down the steps into fun ways to remember then:) I taught a whole class of kindergarteners these steps for a performance and we rocked the house! Parents went crazy:) thank u!
I did these moves, and got a few. Plus, one wanted to learn the moves by me. You probably didn't do the moves right, or the women were too young for you.
To slow down a horse down to you lean back, and tug lightly on the reins. Light enough to slow the horse down, but that enough that it changes their gait. It is called a half halt. I made a disco move.
😐😌😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂did it start
Thank you for the video!!! I encouraged my teenage kids and wife to watch the video with me today. I told my kids that the next time we go out to a social function where there is dancing, I am going to follow each of the moves I learned in this video, while my kids watch me dance! If I am lucky, they will never want to be seen with me in public again......
This was actually really good. I was trying to explain an easy way to dance for two teenage guys who wanted to be cool at a New Years eve 70's party but didn't know the moves. Shared with them. Terms and moves easy to understand and fun to do. Practiced wtih KC and the Sunshine Band.
Good work man. I love to live in the disco area ✌️🙂. I am 26 but I am old school because I love of school and it’s better then crap now a days. I like old old ollllddd dancing I mean it.
When you look at videos like Soul Train dance lines, the moves were actually a lot cooler, you feel the rhythm in them. Funk dance for example. The 70's gave birth to the robot, pop and lock and more. The moves in this video are more "stereotypical "dad dancing" 70s than what you saw a lot of in clubs and discos. Look how Michael Jackon moves in the 70s. There are elements of 70s dance in this video, but the "way" it's done is important, the style, the funk element of movement and core rhythm, flow. It takes a lot of natural confidence, an electric presense and "essence" to pull them off. Watch a lot of the black 70's dancers in those videos and you'll get what I mean. MJ's 70's robot dances ua-cam.com/video/tILn5TbUH9A/v-deo.html 70s Boogaloo dancers ua-cam.com/video/qkc8YduPnOM/v-deo.html 70's soul train dancers ua-cam.com/video/Ruykh_mBs3k/v-deo.html 80's Soul train ua-cam.com/video/AD4GQ-NGgNs/v-deo.html
LOL! I love it. My class would enjoy these disco moves as they will also enjoy the humor which is more important to me. Having fun while u r learning Disco. Great Job : )
Very useful! Needed some ideas for a combination for a disco dance for school and this helped me to get some ideas and realize just how fun disco is. Thank you!!
Hi! We are a class in NZ and we love your disco moves! We have been starting each day with your cool dance moves and are going to invent some of our own next!
I could not have imagined soo cool moves before ;D No seriously, its cool! :)) I am preparing for my funny show at school and these moves will help me a lot :D
Darn. I was hoping dude would show the grove-a-licious moves from the "GWG cords Movin' on a Dream ooh ooh ooh" video! Now THEY have some sweet ATTITUDE! 😂😂😂😂😂 Btw, dude. It's Jerry's mousehole. Tom's too big, even if he's got bounce, head goin' and sweet attitude. Mow. That. Lawn.
Tom is the cat and cats dont normally come out of mouseholes.... And this video is entertaining at least. Maybe I'll even pass some butter when I'm alone in the house :3
“Oh, have some butter.” Anybody doing these moves doesn’t need it... they’re too smooth already.
Ryan has motivated me. compelled me. moved me. he kick started my entire life. I was ready to give up. until i learned the main 3 points to disco. head. bounce. attitude. to this day. 9 years after this video was released i still remember these 3 points. bounce. head. attitude. thank you Ryan

He’s bouncing , his heads moving and btw he has a great attitude
i really want the algorithm to bless the hell out of this.
“I’ve got a real smooth attitude”
why are people disliking?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! this is so rude!!!!!!! he's just living his best life trying to spread his knowledge about disco. You will regret this when everyone who takes this advice is looking much more cool than you are. i said STOP. ✋

I'm wondering the same thing....

sailingmylifeaway Know that feel bro
I did these moves, and got a few. Plus, one wanted to learn the moves by me. You probably didn't do the moves right, or the women were too young for you.
But the one that goes for you is the "Fun One!" Keeper.
This is so sad can we hit 50 likes
You may have forgot to incorporate the "three rules of cool"
To slow down a horse down to you lean back, and tug lightly on the reins. Light enough to slow the horse down, but that enough that it changes their gait. It is called a half halt. I made a disco
move.
"the sweetest flying attendant" "exits, exits, mask..seat belt" xD that looks like a weird aerobical lesson dude!!! keep'em coming :D
😔 everyone laughed and pointed at me when I pulled out the lawnmower
😐😌😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂did it start

Bro the sprinkler is the best one, everyone was cheering at me !!!
Don’t give a fuck
Did you use enough attitude?
Yeah like, that's just your opinion man. literally 0 people danced disco like that. you re a true pioneer
I did see the washing the windows variant in the 80s.
At my summer camp last year we had a competition called Dancing with the Staffs, my team got the 70s dance and we watched your tutorial!
It's brilliant fun. Rule the dance floor with this, you'll be surprised how many people will copy you.
i always come back to this video. brings me joy.
Man if you dance like that for real in a discoteque...what can i say...you're THE KING...LOL
Thank you for the video!!! I encouraged my teenage kids and wife to watch the video with me today. There will be no panicking in this disco.

Before I was a total loser in discos. I only danced with girls in a very lame and tight way. Now I can pop pop pop it! Thank you!
Super groovy man! So far out, it's outta sight!!
"Mow. That. Lawn"
Excellent! Much better than the disco dance lesson we had on Norwegian cruise ship recently! Thank you Ryan!
Good work man. I love to live in the disco area ✌️🙂. I am 26 but I am old school because I love of school and it’s better then crap now a days. I like old old ollllddd dancing I mean it.

ILMAO
Lmfaoooo dudeeee this is funniest dance video I’ve ever come across 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love it so much
I used this for a class presentation and I’m proud of it
This is amazing: the dorkest man in the world trying to explain you how to be cool.
I feel like people don't understand that these moves are 70s disco moves, not meant to be danced to modern, club music....
These are just shit Dance Moves
You idiot it's in the title, it's interesting to see how they danced back then.
When you look at videos like Soul Train dance lines, the moves were actually a lot cooler, you feel the rhythm in them. Funk dance for example. LOL! I love it. My class would enjoy these disco moves as they will also enjoy the humor which is more important to me. Having fun while u r learning Disco. Great Job : )
I am drunk. And this was really funny to watch. Thanks man!
Hell yeah this guy gets it!!!
"My legs are bouncing, my head is going, and i have sweet attitude ..." seems like a rhythm to me xD
You are the greatest. Gave me a lot of good tips to make me feel comfortable on the dance floor.
Yay! thank you I'm going to practice these classic moves in the lounge and possibly get evicted from my housemates
Saying how cool you are has to be the number one thing that cool people say
This was useful for a 70 dance I attended.
Rule 1: bounce a lot
Rule 2: move your head
Rule 3: attitude 'act confident'
Move 1 - 1:22 (Point to the Exits)
Move 2 - 1:47 (Exits & Mouseholes)
Move 3 - 2:18 (Pass the Dishes)
Move 4 - 2:44 (The Lawnmower)
Move 5 - 3:29 (The Flight Attendant)
Move 6 - 4:36 (Sprinklers)
Very useful! Needed some ideas for a combination for a disco dance for school and this helped me to get some ideas and realize just how fun disco is. Thank you!!
I can"t believe I'm watching this xD

Hi! We are a class in NZ and we love your disco moves! We have been starting each day with your cool dance moves and are going to invent some of our own next!
Back in the seventies and early eighties, there used to be places doing "disco classes" and tv shows showing disco dancing
Nice and well instructed. I got interrested in disco moves after watching the dance scene in "Dirk Diggler"
Mordo! Zajebiście, dzięki Tobie zjadam parkiet na imprezach. Pozdro!
We always mixed in the 60's moves.
Caveman, Mashed Potato and Bus Stop

Hey Ryan, Great video clip. Funny and fun to watch!!! Will bust the moves on Friday - laugh.
You are hilarious. I think a good dance move would be handing out roses.
What is the music called that your dancing to?
You made it so easy to remember, I love it,too.
i don´t know if i learned anything from this.... but this guy is pretty cool, i got entertained with this video
Darn. I was hoping dude would show the grove-a-licious moves from the "GWG cords Movin' on a Dream ooh ooh ooh" video! Now THEY have some sweet ATTITUDE! 😂😂😂😂😂
Btw, dude. It's Jerry's mousehole. Tom's too big, even if he's got bounce, head goin' and sweet attitude. Mow. That. Lawn.
Hey, these are good moves! Just add a two step with your feet and dramatize all your movements- like he said, these are the basics.
I love this. Makes my day better. 😄😃
Perfect. Thanks man!
This. Might be the funniest thing. That I have ever seen.
WTF he talks like an Art Attack presenter... He's too cool I'll never be able to surpass him, but I'll follow in his footsteeps
Pick the best ones and copy that style..until you got your own style.
We watched this video in school 😂 why am i here? Oh yeah bc we have to make an disco dance in front of class 🙄
Next time I'm at the club, the sprinkler is coming out! pure 🔥
Waiting for the bus sounds like the new dance craze

Tom is the cat and cats dont normally come out of mouseholes.... And this video is entertaining at least. Maybe I'll even pass some butter when I'm alone in the house :3
