I’m so thankful for this testimony from beginning to end. I found encouragement, strength, hope, and joy. I am 31 and a new believer and lover of Jesus, and hearing from someone who has been walking with God for decades is so powerful. I have learned a lot to take with me in my own walk and I am so thankful for this episode. Gary, thank you so much for sharing everything you opened up about. Jackie, how sweet your new forever home is with our loving Father in no pain or suffering. Thank you Lord for Your unending love and perfect plans on our lives. Thank you for your peace that surpasses all understanding.

This video needs so many more views. Lord wake up the lost and those who are asleep in the Church. We need the Lord, and we need a relationship with Him. Put away the religious traditions, and seek the Lord Jesus Christ and be a true follower.

Amen! I have been getting more way way more out of watching something like this than Christian tv! It is impacting me to hear individually the Lord working in others lives! It helps you to be grateful for them but also it makes me think closely to what God has done in my life. Hearing the emotions and seeing how it all fits together in their life. God is so good and he is an artist how it works through different situations in our lives and causes one thing to lead up to another..all to fit personally for us in our relationship with Him! Thank you Jesus!

God is real and we must have a relationship with him not only to know him. How you know if you’re having relationship is see miracles in your life almost daily. I could almost say every day you could see God’s finger’s prints in your life. Jesus also knows if we’re walking with him or not so if you’re not sure simply ask him. God convert me 11 years ago into Catholic and I’m still walking with him every day.😁🙏🏼

Exactly! The miracles every day part is just a constant reminder that you are being moved from the "excitement" of sin not into a boring dead religion, but an even better adventure of life aligned with the kingdom of heaven.

Thank you Mr. Wendt all of this touched me. The part towards the end about your wife and her being healed on earth or heaven.. that was touching as a child my mom was told she would be healed and never have cancer again. She was 32 when she passed away and as I have grown older vs a small kid thinking she hadn't got healed and it was a lie. I came to realize over the past 8 or 9 yrs that she did get healed just not in earthly terms. Thank you for sharing even the painful parts❤

What a great podcast. Just amazing his experiences with the Lord. I too have had my own experiences and I find that hearing others testimonies gives me comfort in a number of things. 1. It strengthens something I already know. That God is real and he loves me and you. 2. I'm not alone in experiences. I keep things to myself mostly because with the world full of non believers or luke warm believers my experiences would be chalked up to imagination, or lost my mind or that I'm lying.

    GARY, can salvation be lost?

    • @NewCreationInChrist896
      @NewCreationInChrist896 20 днів тому +1

Salvation is offered to everyone-John 3:16. The wolves in sheep’s clothing, the goats, the tares and the nonbelievers-those who refuses to accept the gospel by trusting only in Jesus Christ will lose their salvation, it’s blasphemy of the Holy Spirit the unforgivable sin. The sheep will not lose their salvation because we’re sealed until the day of redemption-Ephesians 1:13.
      John 6:39
“And this is the Father’s will who hath sent Me, that of all which He hath given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the Last Day.”

@@NewCreationInChrist896 Even though you don't seem to be Gary, I thank you for responding. I realize that most Christian fellowships don't teach right division of the scriptures because they don't know how either. The ONLY books of the Bible that apply to us pagan Gentiles saved today (ever since Acts 28:28-31) are Ephesians and Colossians, so nothing that happened or was said in the four gospels or even Acts is applicable to us except for the fact of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ that paid the sin debt of all mankind!
The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit was committed by the nation of Judah's leaders for refusing to recognize their Messiah when he came to them and claiming he had a devil and was doing miracles by the power of Satan. There is no way anyone can commit the sin of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit today because that sin is just one out of all the sins that Jesus paid for in his own blood at Calvary. The magnitude of what was accomplished by the sacrifice of Christ was not revealed until the nation of Judah was let go at the end of Acts, and Paul announced in Ephesians that he had received the revelation of the mystery, a secret, formerly hid in God (not in the scriptures like the mystery in Romans 16:25) but now made manifest that what Christ accomplished at Calvary has cleared the way for his Father to offer eternal life in his Son as a completely FREE GIFT, Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV, without any works of the law attached, and as you say, eternal security - but not by the verse in Ephesians 1:13 because the first chapter of Ephesians is largely devoted to Paul offering comfort and reassurance to the kingdom-hope saints that now were dealing with the disappointment of not receiving their Messiah back or the kingdom they were looking for.
During the gospel era and Acts, there were no Gentiles like us even allowed to be saved. The God-fearing Gentile "Greeks" were the subjects of Old Testament prophecy and were added to provoke the Jews to jealousy in an attempt to cause enough Jews to accept the Messiah that would tip the scales in favor of their Messiah returning (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) with their prophesied kingdom, but alas, it did not happen that way! I don't think enough Christians realize that pagan, heathen Gentiles like we were before we were saved would not have even been allowed to visit any of the churches in Acts mainly because we would have been considered to be as unclean as pigs or dogs to them. You probably recall how reluctant Jesus and his disciples were to even speak to the Syro-Phoenician woman in Matthew 15. So what so many of us take for granted, that "Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so," is actually not as biblical as we think; and coloring pictures in Sunday School of Moses and Noah and Jesus with the little (Jewish) children all around him has caused Christians today to insert themselves in parts of the Bible where we would not have been welcome, even by Jesus!
The Greeks in Acts did not represent us today and it's a good thing they don't because they did not enjoy the eternal security we have (Ephesians 4:30) but they were warned that if they did not "abide" in Israel's olive tree, that they would be "cut off"! Romans 11:22 KJV. So. believe me, we don't want to identify with them, as God-fearing as I'm sure they were, and hopefully most of them were saved to eternal life, but they're completely gone off of the scene; and everything changed when Paul said that salvation would be sent to the [regular] Gentiles, and you know what? At that moment everyone not yet saved from that point on became just a sinner in need of the Saviour, Jesus Christ! Paul made that clear in Colossians 3:11 KJV; we're either in Christ or we're not. But as you stated, we are eternally secure in Christ but by Ephesians 4:30, not Ephesians 1:13 which was for the declining Jews and Greeks!

I realize that Gary wants to give all the glory to God for the fact that he survived the war, but does either of you realize the hurt and even possibly hatred towards God that statements like, “That was God divinely protecting me,” etc., might make someone feel whose loved one came back in a casket? And many of those men (and women) were devout Christians too. Did God want them dead for some reason of his own or did he just play favorites?

I understand what you're saying but God's point of view is eternal and whether we live here in earth a few days, years or decades we can have a guaranteed eternity with him. Following Jesus is so calming to the soul and life infusing to the spirit. God bless you for asking the hard questions! 🥹💕

    • @dfkuz

@@mimsalamims6571 Thank you for your input! And, yes, alleluiah, we can receive an eternally secure eternal life in Jesus Christ for simply placing our faith in him and his work at Calvary! I would caution using the term, "follow Jesus," because following him is not the saving gospel, trusting him is. Also, following the earthly Jesus before his resurrection would lead to leaning heavily on obedience to commandments, observance of Jewish rituals like water baptism or circumcision, or even being faithful to confess our sins so that he is faithful to forgive them as in 1 John when we receive forgiveness for all of our sins upfront when we have accepted God's gift made possible by his Son's work at Calvary, Ephesians 2:8 & 9 KJV, Colossians 1:14 KJV!
I'm a person that has always looked for the loopholes in things - the easy way out or the smoother path - so I was so relieved when I realized that there is nothing we need to do or keep doing or not do, etc., to receive salvation in Jesus Christ - we need only to make a onetime placement of faith in the Person and Work of Christ Jesus, where the only rule is that there are no rules!
I think you might enjoy my testimony of coming out of superstitious Catholicism with a priest in the family to the wonderful Son-rise of the free gift we can receive when we trust Jesus Christ and that's all that is required! My testimony, "Looking for Mary; Finding God," is accessible by copying and pasting a link that's on my profile page (just click my photo) into your browser. I'd have made it an active link but wouldn't you know, UA-cam doesn't let us do that! My email is also there if you'd like to discuss it with me. Blessings and hugs, Debbie
