- Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.. i know this year the vlog was probably a little too chill and without the production value of years before, but to me, this was probably the best Christmas morning I've ever had.. i was just in the moment without thinking about filming and posting and all that jazz that kept me preoccupied in the past, i was just present and it was marvelous..
I was thinking about taking a week off posting here but Anna said we should keep posting for all the people who might not have a family with them this year and for them, we are their family, so if that is you.. then merry Christmas and you can always call us your family..
but it would also be nice if you did the dishes from time to time and maybe look after the kids.. haha see you tomorrow
Low key Christmas is the best Christmas! It's like we are right there with you! Don't worry about making vlogs fancy...ever! The real homey moments are what keep this channel real and like family.

Don't put Edie's handwarmers in the microwave! I'm pretty sure they are the kind that go in hot water to charge then go solid. Then when you want to use them you snap the little metal thing in them and it causes a reaction to release the heat. Then you recharge them by putting them in hot water again.

Feels so weird to watch this in April. I wouldn't comment usually but the last bit has prompted me to. I know you said "maybe this was the crappest christmas vlog I ever made" but I just wanted to say that actually the lack of pressure you put on yourself shone through. I was always so so excited to see the old christmas vlogs and sometimes they didn't live up to expectation (probably more because they were built up before hand that they were going to be huge and amazing but all I wanted was a new vlog & it was of course a very busy day so didn't always have the content I hoped for) they were long but honestly I think this one was my fave maybe since Emilia and Edie's first christmas together. It felt real, relaxed, festive and the kids excitement came through above everything else which is so the point of christmas! Loved this video! :D A very very very very late merry christmas to you all (and late happy easter too XDD)

In the US, pigs in a blanket are hotdogs wrapped in pastry, they are so yummy! But I’m glad Jonathan was able to get some vegetarian ones! 😋 and I’m so glad you felt more present and in the moment and didn’t stress about UA-cam. You can tell how calm and genuinely happy you all were 🥰
