I am not a professional mechanic and the methods described in my videos are solely based on my research and intuition. I make mistakes and when I do, I try to point them out so others don't make the same mistakes. These videos are meant only as a description of what I was trying to do and how I went about doing it. Before attempting any service on your car, conduct your own research and use common sense.
I gotta do mine too. Didn’t know it was that easy. Ordering a kit asap. THANKS!
Hey Joshua, fellow Z31 owner here. First let me say your videos are a godsend, I look forward to your uploads a lot! Second, how in the world did you get the front end up on jack stands? I can't seem to get enough clearance for my floor jack handle to move up and down; it ends up hitting the bumper. Any advice?
I am so sorry for no responding for 3 months! Sometimes I dont get the notifications when people post comments and it really bums me out because you had a great question. If you're still wondering, I place wood 2x4's under the scissor jacks I have and then that gives it enough height to make it all the way above a jack stand. Again, sorry for taking so long to reply
Z31s are awesome
Did these bushings come with the kit you linked in your newer video? I wanna make sure the kit does come with everything
Yes. Both videos were made with bushings from the same kit
The kit from the Z store comes with everything except the rear subframe bushings. this kit also comes with the bigger tension rod bushings that go on the 88-89 cars. Just got it for my 84.
where did you order the kit from?
I thought 22 mm go in the front and the rear which one is it.
