I’m so glad we’re getting this representation. I’m 42 and I’ve never seen this but glad I lived long enough to see it. I think it’s gonna help the straight people too. His impact is going to be like nothing we’ve ever seen He is an icon already and I can’t wait to see what he does next. Love your reaction and you have a new subscriber 🤎🤎🤎

You never disappoint. You just screamed every single thing that I was desperately holding inside when I first saw this video. This is definitely historic, and the fact that some people don't see that is baffling to me. Lil Nas x is helping us turn the page on so much homophobia and discrimination right before our eyes. It's amazing that we are all alive at this time to see it happening. Great reaction video, as usual, fantastic content as always! Much love my guy!

It’s amazing to watch. I’ve seen people change their attitude towards gay men in real time while watching this. The way the video pivots from “shocking” 🙄 to empathy inducing seems to really cause an epiphany for a lot of people.

What people don't really seem to ever mention is yes LGBT people even have had basic representation in music, even in hip-hop music before. However, none of them have ever put it out there the way Lil Nas has. Before it was a representation that the artist was gay, very rarely has song and video also been representation as well. For example, Elton John, Adam Lambert those country singer gay dudes, even Frank Ocean and such, but NEVER in my life has it been done like this AND taken seriously. And yes Lil Nas is so important from a black perspective (I myself am mixed so I get it) But it's not just about color it's about No one ain't ever done it like this before. He is a whole new level of representation for all gay/queer people but most especially black people and people of color. I remember growing up being told by my mom how I was only gay cause I'm part white lol. Oh if only she were alive to see this!

His dad whom he is close to and is on the song dead right now singing background is a pastor. So wasn't surprised by the church reference. Yes he plays the guitar. Word is the boy is verse. We thought we had it with Frank, we thought we had it with Tyler , it took Montero to say u can do it so can I

So as a Gay man, at what age did you start “acting flamboyant?” Because I am 100% sure you did not talk or act this way as a child. The flamboyant talk, behaviors and mannerisms are something picked up and chosen. I for one know that being gay is something you are born with, but not the characteristics. It’s like if you hang out with nothing but “Surfer Guys” as a teenager, you will start sounding and talking like they do. Saying “Dude” every other word. My point is that if you hang out with other flamboyant gay men you will pick up mannerisms and speech and it becomes a character and not who you truly are!

      1. What does this have to do with anything???
      2. Ive always been “flamboyant” but i also have alot of masculine tendencies that you dont see cause….. you dont know me.
      3. This whole take is wrong because I have hella “masc “ friend and hella girl friends and many in between.
Just because i dont conform to your expectations of masculinity doesnt make me feminine especially because both are social constructs and subjective ie. arent even real💀
Please educate yourself before you try to tell me about who i am love.
