Looks like something on the youtube end threw the audio out of sync towards the end of the vlog. Checked my file and everything lines up ok just a weird glitch . Enjoy
I'm in an office with clients to manage and deadlines to meet...lots of stress. I truly think you're living life to the fullest...so envious...very happy for you. Thanks for sharing your experiences...a little peace in my life. P.S...I was hoping you were going to dock at Discovery Island and explore...;-)
Your cinematography has really blossomed! This particular blog was really visually engaging! Your choices of angles and what to include has become quite professional!!
GREAT vlog! The Amphicar was created in the 1960s by a German company. It used an English Triumph Herald engine in the rear, which drove the rear wheels or two propellers. It was, as you saw, a compromise, being adequate for amphibious duty, but excelling at neither. DOLE WHIP! MMMMMMM! The horseshoe on the shed was proper. You want to nail it up to look like a "U". The purpose it to not let the luck run out of it. (Yeah, I know).
Pier Pressure, liked it. I always wanted to do that, it looked like so much fun. I am very happy to see a little Disney Magic in the vlog today. I did not know you could get a Dole Whip at Disney Springs now, nice for people who are not heading to the park.
I know a guy near by where I live that is currently restoring one of those cars. He has two actually, the second is a donor car. I had a boat once,it coat more than it was worth keeping it. I dont miss my boat. Discovery Island isnt even used any more. I have seen video of it however. Guys like to sneak out onto it and film it.
Vicky Abramowitz You have to be hard core to own one of those. The guy I know told me how much he has invested already. It was enough to buy a really nice boat boat. not a car that wants to act like a boat. the seal between the bottom and prop shaft is really expencive and has to be custom made. The door seals are also expencive as all get out. He was interesting to talk to however. He is part of a club. There are only about 300 of those cars left.
scott firman This guy you're talking about sounds like he's got a lot of money. And for this type of boat/car ownership, it's a prerequisite. It's just that most boat owners I have known don't have that kind of money and for the boat they had, they did spend more for maintenance than they had figured on. Which brings to mind another 'boat quote': The happiest day of your life is when you buy a boat. The second happiest day of your life is when you sell it.
It is an amphicar, they are known as the 707 because it does 70 on the highway and 7 on the water.my friend has one and i got to drive it in down the ramp and in the water.came back out with a big fish stuck in the bumper.they are very cool.nice job adam.love the vlogs
That 'There ain't a lot of boat between us & the water" was priceless! The "Upside down" horseshoe is that way Adam because if you have it the other way around the luck will fall out ( According to Aussie legend anyway! lol)
I have a task for you Adam if you come to Vermont. A few years back the Discovery channel came to Lake Champlain to research our version of Nessie called Champ. They found out that there was something using echo location and were suppose to come back and find out what it was. They never came back. Maybe you could use your Columbo skills and find out why they never came back.
Thanks 😊 Adam love this Vlog, Big fan of classic cars I even own one myself , but never had the experience of driving or riding in one of these amphibious car's looks like fun good job 👍 with the Vlog on it !
I remember visiting River Country and Discovery Island back in 1979 during our family's trip to Florida and Walt Disney World. At the time, Epcot Center was still in the process of being built! I'm sorry to see River Country and Discovery Island have joined the list of "Things That Aren't There Anymore".
I'd be freaked out to be that close to water in a "boat" even in a lake that close to the ocean because, I mean, bull sharks 🦈. I'm just sayin lol. But it's a lot of fun watching you do it, and I'm glad you survived the experience lol. Another fun video!
Hey ADAM THE WOO! I really like your friend that you were with today! He is funny! U should meet up with him more. Btw...I coming up on having watched u every single day for a year!! Haven't missed one day! I love it way too much to do that.
*The shoe tree is actually a tradition in which only captains of the ferry boats are allowed to throw their shoes (which are white) onto the tree as a goodbye n good luck symbol for retirement..*
The dole whips at the Pineapple Lanai are bigger than the ones at the park. Love them! But Adam, if you ever want to run away with me, just let me know. lol
Do you remember the old bob-around-boats? They were round and had a cover above the seating. I always keep an eye out for older Disney stock photos that feature them!
Love the Videos sir, Glad to see Arnie was able to join you on the boat, I think a Cigar would have been the perfect accoutrement to add, unfortunately down there SOSA Cigars doesn't have any "Cheap" Cigars, so if you aren't a cigar smoker (like me) then would have been huge waste of money....DOLE WHIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP....Happy trails sir
I went to River Country over 20 years ago. While swimming in the main "pool" that was separated by a bladder to Bay Lake, I wondered how they kept gators out of there. It seemed awfully easy for them to get in there.
I am *SO* jealous that you got to ride in an Amphibicar! I saw one in meatspace back in March, and I totally fanboi'd over it with the owner. It would be awesome to ride in one!
Funny coincidence. I just watched the video of you and Micah looking at the old wave machine a few days ago. The pontoons look like a fun time, but I can never talk the wife and kiddo out of the parks while we are there :)
That water/car looked so fun. You are lucky when your friend, who's afraid of water experience, placed his hand into the water it didn't get nipped at by alligators. omg. (you as well). You both had a fun afternoon looks like.
Wow, what a throwback. I road in a amphibian car for the first time at the 1964-65 New York's World Fair. No wait, I read about it, yeah, I read about it, because if I road in one back in 64 that would make me old.
Looks like something on the youtube end threw the audio out of sync towards the end of the vlog. Checked my file and everything lines up ok just a weird glitch . Enjoy
TheDailyWoo I was just about to comment that, thought it was my end lol
T'was a nice relaxing video today 👍👍👍
It's like the old kung-fu movies.. haha..

Come on Adam , the most famous BUOY scene was the opening of JAWS , who was your friend you never intro'd him?
LOVED this. You really treated your friend. He looked happy-at-last on the water. PS--I LOVE my (1st) Adam the Woo shirt.
That's what you call a relaxing Sunday to the fullest. I can tell you were very relaxed Mr. Woo and thank you for this waterlogged adventure.
Your videos are always a bright spot in my day... Thank-you! ☀😊
Now that's how to travel! Can't sink the Woo man! Good morning Adam and the Woovians!
River Country is the only water park I've ever truly loved! Such a shame it's abandoned.
Great seeing a glimpse into River Country again. Keep up the great work!
Another enjoyable video! So relaxing to watch after a hard day of work. Thank you Adam!!
I can't wait to show this to my little one, she has been wanting to do this for along time. Thanks for taking us along!
Looks like a fun day! Love the Pier pressure joke! That may be the best one yet!!
Your cinematography has really blossomed! This particular blog was really visually engaging! Your choices of angles and what to include has become quite professional!!
River Country really fascinates me. It'd be so cool to explore back there!
GREAT vlog!

Adam sir, We have Dole Whip in the Vero Disney resort.Come on over to Vero and enjoy!!!!!
If you go parasailing at the Contemporary you can get an amazing view of Discovery Island, River County, and The Magic Kingdom!
Pier Pressure, liked it. I always wanted to do that, it looked like so much fun. I am very happy to see a little Disney Magic in the vlog today. I did not know you could get a Dole Whip at Disney Springs now, nice for people who are not heading to the park.
That was cool love those car boat thingys.
Good morning Adam :) Have a wonderful day today. BTW these always make my mornings first video I watch every day when I get up. :)
Thanks for filming this. I am counting the days for my next trip in September and this makes me look forward to it even more!
I know a guy near by where I live that is currently restoring one of those cars. He has two actually, the second is a donor car. I had a boat once,it coat more than it was worth keeping it. A boat is a hole in the water into which you throw money.
mine sailed w/o me...

ted danson, mary Steenburgen et al escape the evil John Shuck's highway patrolman in one of these in film Pontiac Moon

Last time we were there Pat Sajak and Vanna White were in those cars filming some segments for wheel of fortune. It was last September.
Great Vlog Nana in World War 2 would ride in the Admirals car like that across The bay in Newport RI. She was and aid . She loved it.
I worked in the motor pool, lots of admirals wives and their drivers just sayin
oscaris1ru12 cool
I liked it too

love those car boats, cost to much. looks like a lot of fun
man river country was the first water park i ever went to my grand parents took me there it was awesome
Same. My mom would take me all the time when we went to Disney. That was back in the 70's/80's. I really miss those times. ☹️
Thanks 😊 Adam love this Vlog, Big fan of classic cars I even own one myself , but never had the experience of driving or riding in one of these amphibious car's looks like fun good job 👍 with the Vlog on it !
Love the banter with the driver. Was anyone else like, "DON'T TOUCH THE LAKE GRASS!!!" lol. I live in Florida, and that stuff is slimey!
now why am i hearing the classic Jaws theme lol id love to go in one of those water cars .Great Adam .
David Price - I loved how Adam started singing the Gillian's Island theme tho! That was funny!
the preferred spelling
I was thinking the same thing when they stuck there hand in the water. Except I was thinking a gator was gonna jump out and eat Adam !!
ehrldawg Lake Placid lol
That's so cool. I remember back in 1961/1962 when I lived in Miami Beach I would see those Amphicars on the canals.
I remember visiting River Country and Discovery Island back in 1979 during our family's trip to Florida and Walt Disney World. At the time, Epcot Center was still in the process of being built! I'm sorry to see River Country and Discovery Island have joined the list of "Things That Aren't There Anymore".
Happy Monday Everyone! Back 2 Work! Watched & Liked 👍🏼👍🏼
I hope to be venturing Florida this summer looks like a lot of fun that is definitely going on my to do list.
WOOter World vlog! Love being in the water!
For some reason the amphicar driver reminded me of Tyler.
Philadelphia has Duck tours, they give you duck whistles to blow at other boats and people. I loved it!
Yeah and on one tour the duck boat's engine failed in a shipping lane. Nothing good happened from that
Another vlog bringing joy to my day. Have a good rest of your day Adam!
One of your best vlogs Adam! Nice work. I very much enjoyed the content of this one.
Seeing River Country is always sad.
I'd be freaked out to be that close to water in a "boat" even in a lake that close to the ocean because, I mean, bull sharks 🦈. I'm just sayin lol. But it's a lot of fun watching you do it, and I'm glad you survived the experience lol. Another fun video!
I did this a couple years ago. Loved it!
Pier pressure? As a dad I approve this dad joke.
That looks like so much fun! The driver was at the mercy of a captive audience. 🐤🐙Awesomeness. 🙈
hope you're having a good day adam!!
Hey ADAM THE WOO! I really like your friend that you were with today! He is funny! U should meet up with him more. Btw...I coming up on having watched u every single day for a year!! Haven't missed one day! I love it way too much to do that.
Thanks for sharing Adam...!
*The shoe tree is actually a tradition in which only captains of the ferry boats are allowed to throw their shoes (which are white) onto the tree as a goodbye n good luck symbol for retirement..*
Justin did a video from bay lake a couple of weeks ago and showed that same show tree
Friend says he doesn't like being out on the water, precede to take him out on the water... TWICE!
Lol!
Love when you're back home at WDW!
The dole whips at the Pineapple Lanai are bigger than the ones at the park. Love them! But Adam, if you ever want to run away with me, just let me know. lol
Do you remember the old bob-around-boats? They were round and had a cover above the seating. I always keep an eye out for older Disney stock photos that feature them!
haha. I love how ur friend stated that he isn't a fan of water and you take him out on the water twice. good times. great vlog per usual.
Awesome Vlog on the Boat car with your friend! and i would love to go on it, looking forward in your next Vlog.
The wee Orlando Orlando O O Orlando song you sing reminds me of an advert that used to play on the TV while I was on holiday in Disney in the 90s 😁
I like the brief segment where the audio track gets off a couple seconds. Like a karate movie!
(Cool effects, Adam!)
Hi Adams friend!! You have a great smile!!!
🎶Orlando, Orlando...O...
O...Orlando🎶. This will be stuck in my mind all day. What a fun video! The driver was such a good sport.
Best boating etiquette is to pull your dock bumpers up when you're under way instead of letting them hang over the sides.
I did that once, it was great! I may have even been in the same amphicar as you!
Whoa good to see the old amphicar swim. I opened that attraction.
About to head to Orlando from Branson Missouri to celebrate the Jimmy Fallon festivities. Hope to see you if you're around while there.
I went to River Country over 20 years ago. While swimming in the main "pool" that was separated by a bladder to Bay Lake, I wondered how they kept gators out of there. It seemed awfully easy for them to get in there.
Keep rocking on Adam! Love your vlogs!
I am *SO* jealous that you got to ride in an Amphibicar! I saw one in meatspace back in March, and I totally fanboi'd over it with the owner. It would be awesome to ride in one!
the only thing I kept hearing was that B - 52 song " ROCK LOBSTER " nice video Adam , please make more , TTYL. 😂
Funny coincidence. I just watched the video of you and Micah looking at the old wave machine a few days ago. The pontoons look like a fun time, but I can never talk the wife and kiddo out of the parks while we are there :)
Anytime I've seen a movie where someone was hanging on a buoy it was when a shark was chasing them. That looked like a great day. Nice BTTF reference.
Looks like you both had a marvelous day. : )
Another great video !
Definitely awesome being able to boat in an old car! Did you add a shoe to the tree? Be safe out there 😍
Those ferry boats at 3:40 are coming from the Port Orleans resort.
Sea creatcher is Ali .... Aligator ! Another great video !
Nice :) I have always wanted to ride in that amphicar. Glad ya'll got to :)
Those amphicars are cool and it looks like riding in them would be tons of fun.
So cool I've got to do both of those things at wdw!!
Great vlog
Thanks 4 The Vlogs Adam!!
your driver reminded me of tyler Evans sorta
is your "captain" Tyler Evans Rock Journalist??????
Your friend from Baltimore is cracking me up.
awesome, having a blast
I'm surprised your hand didn't disintegrate, that lake always looks filthy!
Adam,, did you get the Dole Whip at the Polynesian resort? Yum!
the Arnold impersonation are hilarious, That's Right! Come On!
That water/car looked so fun. You are lucky when your friend, who's afraid of water experience, placed his
hand into the water it didn't get nipped at by alligators. omg. (you as well). You both had a fun afternoon looks
like.
Since you are going to be in Orlando for a while, I'm ready for as many Disney vlogs as possible.
Wow, what a throwback. I road in a amphibian car for the first time at the 1964-65 New York's World Fair. No wait, I read about it, yeah, I read about it, because if I road in one back in 64 that would make me old.
ya nice boat ride you should have explored on that old boat
I hope you're going to a certain event in Orlando in about a week from now. It's definitely will be out of this world.
Tyler Evans was your boat captain?!?
