The 998 Core OG colorway and the V6s are definitely on the hit list. But, I agree those 580s are clean as hell. I'm not even going to bother trying to camp out in the cue. I have terrible luck with those things lol Great video as usual.

Thanks for explaining this whole release, I was wondering what all the hype was on my ads on IG. I’m personally going for the V6s and the Fresh Foams. Seems like a good combo. I would like to have more, but as you said, it’s too many pairs which means a lot of money 😂

i ended up copping the v4 just bc i didn't have a v4 yet and i think its one of the nicest v4's from new balance so far ....the shape on the 998 gr looks super dope too...they're all pretty nice for sure. nice video!

Thanks for breaking down this huge release on Grey Day this year, and you’re right, no one is paying for my mortgage so I can only cop a pair or two max 😂 my top 4 would be the new 998 colorway, 550, 580 and 9060

Thanks for watching. For me the 998 I go with a .5 size down. For example a 2002R or 9060 I’m a 10. The 998 I’m a 9.5.
Imma try to double up on those 990V4s. Those would be my daily driver since I am always wearing one of those colors as part of my wardrobe.
NB has one per customer so maybe set up another account or cop from a different retailer. ✌🏼

998 the only pair that matters to me...more 998 please, been a drought for years, JCrew 998's were always fire...doubled up, one to rock, one to stock...

It’s possible but I would keep checking local retailers like kith, bodega, Packer shoes, etc.
They just restocked the v6's and im assuming a couple other pairs, no 9060's though.

I don't think 998 has its moment yet. I believe v6 might be the main release (some people saved buying a v6 until a nice CW showed up), followed by the v4, which speaks to v3 lovers. 998 is stronger with NB aficcionados and long-term fans, I guess.

Which ones did you go for this morning ? Looks like there’s a lot of stock , I’m interested in the 998, 990v4 & 990v6 trying to make a decision ( seems like a lot of stock but I doubt it will last too long) so trying to make my decision quick 😂

Never try V4
Both are very comfortable but the v4 is more comfortable right out of the box where the v6, for me, took a few wears to break in.
Probably nonreturnable to prevent resellers who buy and then return when there is no demand.

Why is it on the official NB 990v4 (U990TA4) pigskin website, but Malaysia has a claim that they sell non-pigskin products ?
All 990s have real suede. Except the 990v5 Vegan.
