- I picked up a 2007 ******** with 87,000 miles and a 6-speed automatic transmission for $2,100 at somewhat local auction to build my project vehicle.

The VW 2.5 motor is great! got mk5 Rabbit 2.5 last year and it’s been fantastic project for my son and I. We did the IE stage 2 short runner intake manifold, diy intake, GTI dual tip exhaust, coilovers, etc. It’s been a blast to drive abs sounds like a super car and we were able to source the parts for cheap.
Ah dang when you showed you driving it I was like, oh cool, Audi TT! But then…. Doh
This is awesome, I've always wanted to snag an auction car, but have been too scared that something catastrophic could go wrong 😬
