Using the three level 1 damage resistance masteries for piercing blunt and slashing costs 0 TP and reduces damage by 15% which is amazing early when you have lots of defense slots but not much useful to put in there.
The only thing I would add that might be useful to beginners is, at the research page (e.g. at 26:52 here) where it says "main research material" in a red bar at the top-middle, when you have a new mastery to research that you don't know anything about yet, the bit where it says "research all" there will be highlighted in red, and that will auto research the "main material" component, and then you can hit the blue "autoselect" and ALL the masteries you need will be filled in (provided you have enough of the right kind). Another side-tip is that when you are running low on masteries, the selection the game gives you on autoselect may sometimes prompt you to "use up" masteries that you don't really want to run out of copies of at that particular time, in which case it might be worth manually finding alternative masteries of the same type with the same value. This is often the case around the middle of the game, where you start getting beast masteries in, at that point they're not much use to you yet, and you can safely substitute them in for masteries that you might want to keep a hold of in the interim (e.g. you could substitute a same-value beast mastery in the attack slot for a human mastery that the game suggests).
For Information gain, if you get Information Dealer the district bonus in the Magenta St. district, it will give you 25 information on a random unit you are missing information for every time you complete a mission in the Wall district. That makes it really easy to farm over and over again 20-O and fill up on some of the harder-to-get people because 25 info will max out almost everyone who isn't just a standard goon. And for beasts, the (new-ish) Ancestral Records under Additional Settings in Difficulty gives 100 additional information to Beasts at the cost of 1 extra Mastery, which makes it easy to farm info on just about any Beast out there. The most Info required for a beast that I can remember is 150, which makes that two kills with Ancestral Records. Between these two, you can get information in bulk on everything if you are patient enough. The only catch is that you have to have encountered the enemy first. Information Broker won't give you info on something that is blank, but as long as you have encountered it, it is eligible to be picked at random.
Caohong does not have Trained Attack according to the trouble maker list. Also you can't get Bounding Leap until 31 Violent on Mert I think according to the Mastery location guide.
Sorry for late reply, been a bit busy. Caohong does have Trained attack at least as of 5/28/2023. Also Shukuchi(Bounding Leap) is found on Jason which is as soon as Ordinary 6.
@lifeofashuram-troubleshoot5868 ah OK I guess it doesn't show up on my trouble maker list also I have Shukuchi but don't have bounding leap I don't think that set uses it. Yep it uses stride but not leap just checked.
@@quickpawmaud Yeah you probably don't have Caohong completely filled out then. Also my bad with Bounding Leap vs Stride, I think you mentioned Leap and meant Stride related to Shukuchi. Stride drops from the level 7 Backstreet Swordsman among other things so Shukuchi is gained pretty early!
@lifeofashuram-troubleshoot5868 you recommend March for Anne which requires both Stride and Leap and Leap is not available for a long time is what I was referring to.
Until now, i still confuse and avoid Drone mastery and beast, still learning for these sections, one qustions, why I cant tame the draki prince? Or the other beast boss?
I guess it depends where you're at in the story, but if you're in the second DLC around level 60 you're as far as you can go at the moment. Many masteries that you likely don't have will come from pets in some form or way, such as the "Call of" elemental effects from each different end Draki type. Good luck!
TS:AC is the only game where peoples only press new game once but have 1k game time XD
