I bought these Meus axles and am having trouble figuring out the steering. I believe that I am missing some steering end pieces. Maybe a video on how to put these Meus axles and steering together because I can’t find any information about it. Love your work, entertainment for hours and hours.
Trim the body to get max steering angle and rc steve 710 sells front steering links for those axels that sit closer to the housing so you dont get snagged on everything
True, but they made it happen, and apparently did it to good effect. Some times innovation is just applying current tech to new applications. Still very cool.
That rig almost doesn’t need upgrades. Remove the front bumper and put some heavy wheels on it. I have a video of it with scramblers and weighted wheels check it out.
Sweet video as all ways Adam 👍 i spotted those axles on meus the other day they look amazing ! curious to see how those double pivot cvds last longterm tho
👋🏻your videos have given me inspiration to build a rig from the ground up. I'm in love with the performance of your rig! Do you have an overall/ updated video on everything you've put into snaggletooth? Ive looked but im having a hard time finding one. Thanks! Keep doing what youre doing, its awesome.
Hi, not to say your sold out but give us a video of your best of the best without worrying about your sponsors. I don’t want to build all of your builds on my own dollar. I have no problem building from scratch. I own these axles and love them.
@ thanks for the response. I enjoy your videos a lot and have learned a lot from you. Doing my first full ground up build now and got these axles to start.
Great video dude!!! I'm looking for a front MEUS axle, but i want full steering angle, so i remove sliders and also front shocks to make room for the wheel. I'm only worried about the long term durability of that double u joints. Maybe i get one set this month and try it out.
Hay, I put these on my meus mb24. In the front, there is some weird movement. If i lay it on its back & run it, on every rotation, the axle kind of jumps up. I've checked the tightness of everything & it all moves freely & no binding. I have already put some udder butter in there... I'm at a loss. Do you have any ideas?
@@CapeCrawlersdo you feel a cheat code xl would give you any advantage over your regular cheat code chassis? Im running gladiator links and trying to decide between xl and standard cheat code.
Yeah they’re beautiful axles, my buddy Jim Wolf has a set also got the machine aluminum body and chassis that’s pretty sweet well i’ll Watch for the next one😊
I like them. They’re beefy and work great. I had them on my ripper build but took them off because they raised the chassis too much for my current taste
You was in the fair RC live that one day talking about copyright infringement(wasnt you I was corrected, kinda figured it wasnt but i wasnt live i rewatched it) and here you are holding a mofo RC best servo mount ever knock off. I like the shafts but I’ll stick with the mofo bsme
@@TheShopMiniRC well it looks exactly like the mofo BSME thats all. Was in Mofos Live last night or night before and he even said how they all copied him and his designs. the top of the axle looks the same as all the others. the rest can be different. you going to drop a detailed video on it my friend? that would be cool. i know you got the plug lol
@CapeCrawlers I hear if you run hard park wheels, it will get you close enough to work. I will measure the wheel offset. Do you know how wide the axles are from hex hub to hex hub?

I second this
I third this!
did you guys ever find info,i might buy these, but nervous now

💯 🤘🤘🤘
I wonder if the behind the axle mantis link set up works for the axles...?
I know it sounds really cool and innovative to make up a name for it but it’s really just a double cardan joint lol.
I was just about to say. Real jeep crawler steering right there
Fluff marketing. All companies do it for appeal.
Apple with their displays, Pro XDR, even though it's just a Samsung OLED panel.
True, but they made it happen, and apparently did it to good effect. Some times innovation is just applying current tech to new applications. Still very cool.
I currently run a “2 speed over drive” trans, would these create too much driveline bind? Currently upgrading to micro Komodo / Lizard pro as well.
I just bought a FMS FCX18 Land Cruiser 80, and I would love for you to make some videos upgrading that next!
That rig almost doesn’t need upgrades. Remove the front bumper and put some heavy wheels on it. I have a video of it with scramblers and weighted wheels check it out.
Not factoring budget, would you choose these or MoFos X15 If you had to pick just one for strength and ability?
I absolutely love this build! Looks so good!
I'm ordering up a chassis from TexomaRC and i think these axles will be perfect for the build
I really want to see what these axles are capable of running a 4 wheels steer set up
snaggle tooth is a major sleeper build

Love the look of this!! what motor is that? so tiny!! I have these axles on the way.
These tires look fantastic, however Iam not able to spot the brand and model name on the sidewall. Can you please post them here? Thanks!
They’re the new Jconcepts ruptures

Best of the best axles? I can do that
@@CapeCrawlers all of it. Let’s see it all.
Where do the o rings near the hexes go?
In the trash. To my knowledge they have no functional purpose and I always check em
@ thanks for the response. I enjoy your videos a lot and have learned a lot from you. Doing my first full ground up build now and got these axles to start.
Are they getting their extra with out of the housing in the front or the knuckle
You didn't mention it but it looks like the shock mounting tabs are wider and should make the rig more stable and less body role.
Great video brother! Those axles are pretty stinkin sweet! I love the shiny on them!
Awesome looking rig . What tires are they again.
Those look sick with the baby ruptures.
I need some of those not a 24 guy but those looks very cool.
Is the servo mount supposed to be on an angle ? I got mine today and when installed on the truck it's angled abit
I need a longer front driveshaft mine keeps coming out is there an aftermarket longer one?

WOW .... holy crow .... this little thing is a beast 🤩🤩🤩 and the mini-daedbold looks amazing !!
Greetings from Germany
do you have build specs for that build? thing looks awesome
Just fitted these axles to a build turn your steering link short side to knuckle bud
I’ll flip it this week 👍🏻
So, you say the front is overdriven? Fronts are moving faster than the rear? Or am I misunderstanding?

It happens during regular working conditions as well.
Hi, I ordered 2 front, thinking I would be able to build a 4ws on the gladiator..
Will this work with one of the frombe steering kits like the Mantis?
Yeah climbed up Hells gate like it wasn’t nothing love it
Whats a good fast budget friendly moter for the scx 24
Mofo RC buzzsaw motor 👍🏻
@@CapeCrawlerswill the stock pinion work on it
@@Brayrfd1192Mofo sells his motor with pinions already installed, drop in and go! Enjoy, his stuff is awesome!
they definitely seem like great axles. How would you compare them in over all performance to the super 8 axles?
They’ve got a sharper steering angle, better weight distribution, but not as wide. The LGRP steering linkage is also far superior. They’re very close!
Do these axels allow you to add hex extensions?
Yes they do
Do the trx4m high tails have any options for larger tires?
I’ve seen folks put some huge tires on them
What clearance links are you running with the mazz?
I’m running the Mazz stainless links, gladiator length

What color axle would look better on a grey c10 these silvers or the blacks ?
I would say black!
@@CapeCrawlers ok thanks! I am really on the fence with the two colors I just didn’t know if the silvers would stand out to much !
Starting another build. What good budget axles should I get??
100 bucks seems expensive 😅 shooting for 75 bucks

What’s your opinion on the 110$ meus portal axels for the trx4m
I like them. They’re beefy and work great. I had them on my ripper build but took them off because they raised the chassis too much for my current taste
Will these bolt up to a stock panel wagon frame
Need to make a ring and pinion gear set.
Why so much castor on the front axles??
Which driveshafts are you using?
Quel overdrive peut on.mettre sur l essieu ?
Were is that chasis from??
Mazz designs
Do you know if they are compatible with HardPark LowBlow knuckles?
They are not.
after a month how is everything holding up?
Solid! Absolutely love this setup
Awesome well you just cost me some money it’s all good I got the black ones coming appreciate you sharing😊
I just wonder if MEUS sells TRX4M links for the Chevy K10 yet?! 🤔🤨
are they better then the super 8s?????
Tough choice! If they were wider I would say yes but the +5mm width makes me want more
@@CapeCrawlers thanks
Anyone have a solution for bulky steering link? Can any scx24 link fit or is the spacing from knuckle to knuckle a different length?
Sweet!!

I don't know that they'll hold up to the mofo axles we'll see
