Great video Shane , nice to see someone else digging water 😂bloody snapped my copping fork last week , was missed yesterday, but went armed with a sump pump yesterday 😂😂😂worked well but it soon filled up again , and your right bloody makes it heavy for shaw 👍🏻Dave
You had a few nice bits, Shane! The honey amber Venos was very nice, and the inkwell toward the end was a lovely color. And who doesnt love a codd? Great digs!❤
Shane the ink is stunning and ive never seen one that colour! I also like the boots chemist pair to me it was a decent dig with a lovely variety! It seems to be that the aged bottles are below the water line and there is a capping of clay on top of the water line so it points to a very early tip that was capped and then reused at a later date! Thanks for sharing Shane
Shane do you not sell any of your bottles? I sure would buy some of them. I would even enjoy the plain ones with the bubbles and applied mouth on them.
Hi Kristi, yes I do although I’ve not managed to set up an online shop yet….feel free to contact me via email shanedigmoore1974@gmail.com or Facebook facebook.com/shaneyshagpile
nice video, some nice bits. i had an amber Austin Craven Manchester crown cap out the other day... looks machine made top.. im still poo on me dates.. how old would that be then?.. you refer to it wen you get your crown cap. thanks
I want to let you know here in the states they are cutting down pictorial or embossed bottles down and selling them for double shot glasses or just a single shot glass depending on the width of the bottle and hight of the cut down their getting decent money for them. For those that don’t collect bottles but do drink and likes a bit of history. Great birthday, anniversary, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day any occasion really.

There is some very large trees that might have been there since the tip began but there’s some smaller ones too which are obviously planted later or have just appeared naturally 👍
We normally go first light until around midday….. the dog walkers have got to know us and know that we fill in and leave it tidy so there’s no problem 👍
What more do you need digging up bottles , listening to the bird calls , all good for the soul. Keep them coming Shane .
Cheers! My time out 😃
