+pinny6x6 , I have changed the roof. I only just saw you comment on another video on mine the other day that you made a year ago! The roof was intended to be a pop top for camping, but I never finished it. It was damaged recently and I did away with the idea. Wanted to lower the height as it can be an issue here. Had to air my tyres down nearly flat on this track at times to get under large fallen trees.. The side door I cut in a long time ago to make it easier to get in the back without disturbing all the gear hanging on the back.
The main reason the Pinz is so awesome is its equipped with axle locks on all axles. This gives it considerable traction. Unlike basic Land Rovers which while great off roaders in standard form, suffer with traction loss when a wheel is lifted. The only scary thing with the 6x6 is when you lock the rear pair you lose the steering and practice allows you to compensate by reducing speed and as always when off roading, reading the terrain
Every axle can be equipped with lockers, LR, Jeeps etc. BUT Pinzis have: 1. independent axles with very high articulation 2. NO diff in the "way" 3. portals which give these "small" cars with very small tires (235/75-16 if I am correct) a huge ground clearance The lockers can be thrown in and out at every speed
Well I'm curious about the "$1,000 Track" name. Does it cost that much in repairs to vehicles after using the track, or was it the total expense in materials & labour in building the track?
Hi Blakey. I'm interested in getting a Pinny but have no idea where or how. Any hints tips or suggestions please. I live on the South Coast of Western Australia.
Hi - Great video where did you source your truck from did you import it or are they locally available in Australia. I have been a fan of the Pinzguaer for a while but not sure how to get one in Australia stumbled on your video by accident

Nickname given by track users, as the track often causes vehicle damage, sometimes expensive..

about EUR 40000 in Europe in good used shape, shipping to USA is not expensive, like USD2500.
