      sarevok3 Agreed 100% bro. Thugs are idiots that cause harm to others that love them and can never get their crap together, they are children that blame all their problems on not having a father figure through their early years, they cant take blame for any of their mistakes, its always someone else's fault. Grow up you children.

      +Hellscream Dude you apparently didn't see the Warcraft chronicle preview or you kinda forgot the exact facts. When you talk about the 9th fact. the servants of the Old Gods the Aquir and N'raqi (faceless) were created from the organic matter of the Old Gods.
      Plus the elemental lords waged war against the old gods before becoming slaves. Yes, slaves because that's what they were. Calling them Lieutenant put them in a status that they are not.

    • @ToxicGamez
      @ToxicGamez  8 років тому +2

      +Houmadi Aboubacar The preview was released a few days ago by Dark Horse. This video was finished and uploaded 2 weeks ago, only to be published now. Back then, Dark Horse did not release the preview on Chronicles which meant that the only info we had of their empire was based off of wowwiki/wowpedia which clearly lists the elemental lords as lieutenants of their empire without any further detail in the matter.

      Houmadi Aboubacar Na, it doesn't man, I just space out my videos and publish them according to my schedule :p this video could have been out 2 weeks ago but I try not to put out top 10s/machinimas back to back since they're longer to make and it kind of ruins the, "uniqueness" of the video if I upload them back to back constantly

    This vid just gives further proof that the Trolls are the master race of Azeroth.
    They fought against the horrors of beyond for throusans of years, they allied themselves with the Mogu out of respect of power (something that was unheard of before, since they had the tendency of flat out killing any non-titanic creations), they gave birth to the elven race, they survived both Sundering and the Cataclysm (though the latter one is making the future look a bit bleak) and even after their empires have been reduced to noting but temple cities, they continue to endure.

    2 things to add in case you ever decide to do a followup on this video:
    1. The music in C'thun's chamber (which you played at the beginning of the #1 fact spot) reflects the "mad piping" that Lovecraft wrote transpired where the Old Ones existed by Azathoth (which is where we derive the name Azeroth). It's minor, but just one of those fun flavor things I was glad to see implemented. You can read about it really quickly by looking at Lovecraft's short story Nyarlathotep (it's only like 2 pages). Blizzard devs are huge Lovecraft fans, so they've included tons of Old God-related easter eggs.
    2. The prevailing "theory" I've seen regarding the Old Gods' origin is essentially that they're interstellar parasites. They will attach themselves to a planet, dominate all of its species, and then feed off the planet until it's gone. This is supported by the fact that we saw an Old God in Outland (which was itself the culmination of the heavy-handed hints Blizzard gave us that the Arakkoa had begun to follow a "dark entity"), which would obviously be impossible if they existed only on Azeroth. It also explains why their integrity is intrinsically tethered to that of the planet itself, as it deters the native species from destroying them (not that any native species is powerful enough to, but I digress).

    Just wanna let you know that the sillithid were all one race. They were split in three: the mantid, the nerubians, and the sillithid. The nerubians and mantid were never transformed into abominations, only some of the sillithid. The nerubians never worshipped any old gods, they were actually be feared by being sandwiched between a horde of faceless ones, servants of the old gods, and the scourge. The mantid worship the old gods but they weren't altered. The Q'iraji are the only sentient sillithid who were created by C'thun. Happy to sort it out

    Actually, about the Hakkar thing, with the Legion Intro Event, its pretty clear Demons we "Kill" can come back whenever they want. So, he could have both died in the War of the Ancients and in the Third War

    • @sebastiancespedes5842
      @sebastiancespedes5842 7 років тому

      Green Shy Guy They can comeback indeed but not whenever they want, they surely have some kind of ''respawn'' time gap.

    • @VijoPlays
      @VijoPlays 7 років тому +4

      Just to clear this up, because this sounds a bit vague:
      1. Demons can only be killed in the Twisting Nether.
      2. Demons that are killed outside of the Twisting Nether will lose their body, but their soul will have to find a new one to inhabit, which obviously can take a few hundred years or even longer.
      They can (in theory) come back an infinite number of times, but not necessarily at will at any given time.^^

  • @kabrozkabroz
    @kabrozkabroz 8 років тому +5

    Hellscream, if you think about it, this puts the lich king on par with old gods, if you think about it.
    The main threat of the Lich King and the reason why he can not be destroyed is that he has grown so powerful and his subjects have gained so much in number (possibly for eternity) that slaying him would only cause a frenzy of lesser beings to be unleashed on the world.
    This parallels the old gods who, it appears when slain, disperse into a form of energy on par with natural disasters that create twisted new forms of life.

    • @Sdogofdoom
      @Sdogofdoom 8 років тому +2

      except the lich king barely has control of his continent, (he only has complete dominion over icecrown) whereas cthun OWNED silithus with just a fraction of his power. dont get me wrong, the lich king is awesome, but the lich king was created by kiljaeden, who was empowered by sargeras, who is stated to rather commit suicide than fight a released old god. And ofc, any decent adventurer can now solo the lich king.

    • @kabrozkabroz
      @kabrozkabroz 8 років тому +1

      Sdogofdoom The Lich King has strong control over the undead, it's that Arthas' good half had barely any control over the situation.
      Bolvar is very much a different person than he was before. All of those quests into icecrown citadel coming in legion are not situations where he's like "oh if my undead get you to 1% HP we'll just let you leave" no, his test is 100% deadly.

    • @Sdogofdoom
      @Sdogofdoom 8 років тому

      Dancer of the Frigid Valley
      He has strong control of the undead but not his continent. Most of his continent is under control of yogg saron/malygos/dragons/furbolgs/mechagnomes/whoeverownsscholazar. Sure, undead are in every part of northrend, but undead make up maybe 10-20% of northrend.

    • @kabrozkabroz
      @kabrozkabroz 8 років тому

      Sdogofdoom the iron lords make up a small fraction of northrend. the undead blanket the entire northern EK, with small influence in kalimdor and practically as common as snow in northrend. the dead will always outnumber the living, and that leaves the undead quite liable to do the same.
      Yogg Sarons influence may be strong but his subjects are few and weak. They number as the iron lords and their servants, and 1/3rd of the 3-way divided nerubians, the dead serving arthas, the viziers serving yogg saron, and the remaining fraction trying to undo both.
      Even his blood is worn by the scourge. Yogg Saron, in physicality, has been used as a tool by the lich king.
      As for decent players being able to solo the lich king... that's just numbers.
      40 of our best heroes or 25 of them in reality could possibly take him on... but I dont care if one of them was part of the raid that fought deathwing, illidan, lei shen, garrosh, archimonde, or so on, because one real-life WoW adventurer could never take saron or Arthas alone.

    • @Sdogofdoom
      @Sdogofdoom 8 років тому +1

      Dancer of the Frigid Valley
      The undead in general yes, but alot of undead in northern EK is part of the horde. The rest of the undead there are slowly being exterminated. Yoggs army may be small but he OWNS half of the storm peaks. The undead are definitely the strongest faction in northrend, but there are so many factions that all have small pieces of land that the undead dont actually have that much power. yoggs blood being worn by the undead is part of his plan, the lich kings armor is made of saronite too, and it is driving the lich king mad. The undead even mutter yogg sarons name. And actually, it is implied that the adventurers are improving in strength drastically, as thrall gives up his doomhammer to another adventurer shaman, implying that the new shaman is either equal or better than he.

Sapphire reflects the Creation of "Gnomes" Archangels of Firmaments. Very Distant Descendants of "Breeded" are Archangels of New Testament. "Sapphire" "I" "Gnome" descendant of Khronos, can only help so very much.

    An old gods death doesn't neccesarily mean wounding Azeroth. Y'Shaarj was basically "attached" to Azeroths core. When one of the titans literally RIPPED Y'Shaarj of Azeroth, Y'Shaarj brought a big part of the earth, if not even a part of the core, with him. That lead to severe damage to the nascent titan. (Azeroth)

  • @Donivar
    @Donivar 8 років тому

    Well, actually, it's not like killing several old gods would render a world unhabitable, Y'shaarj's case was special since he was already fused with azeroth (like he had already "rooted" into azeroth) so when Aman'thul teared Y'shaarj from azeroth, it was greatly damaged.

    Y'Shaarj was killed/banished by Aman'thul physically trying to rip Y'Shaarj from the surface of Azeroth but instead creating an open wound that Azeroth would die from, thus creating the well of eternity.

    now something i was wondering about y'sharj's death was how it created the well of eternity with his death. what if and it's a big if, it wasn't his death that caused the damage? the old gods are always rooted into the earth what if there bodies are rooted into a void portal within the ground spreading that void energy to their will? I'm sure when the old god was grabbed from the sky he probably had little time to react so maybe he just didn't have a chance to pull himself away ect? just a curious thought

    Ick'thys the Unfathomable in the Scalding Chasm who commands the player to return to his master below. In the Undershell are enormous tentacles. They look like the tentacles of Yogg-Saron and may belong to N'Zoth
