If I was walking through a park and saw a priest asking if I needed prayers, I would take that as a clear sign from God to immediately stop what I was doing and pray. I would pray with that priest that very instant and be so grateful for the opportunity! God bless you, Father.

That would've been extremely interesting, if he put that on the table sign as well. I feel there are many Catholics out there that would welcome a chance for confession but are somewhat intimidated with the confessional, waiting in line, talking to a parish priest that may know them, etc. I read where there was an experimental "rolling confessional" that parked in a certain area at a prescribed time (forget the city) & it actually attracted quite a few people.

@@JWellsUp I think I have seen Catholics do this preaching in real life a little more randomly if I give an update. And I guess there are Catholic processions too which advertise their faith. And there are other things that Catholics do where they set up a stand -- ie Catholic truth or whatever it's called..... So I do see a bit with the research I've done.
I pray for Catholics so we can have diversity of opinions in Christianity!
@@rch6 I would do it if I had other Catholics with me. At least someone more knowledgeable of the Catechism and scripture than I am. I would be there just to answer basic questions, give my personal testimony and prayer. But if we were like the Mormons and set up a stand like the Jehovah Witnesses the Catholic Church would have double or triple the members it currently has.
@@rch6 I’m not going out on my own anymore. I was at an abortion clinic yesterday and some guy began to insult me and then came back on his skateboard wanting to fight me. He kicked my bike down trying to provoke me to come to him but I remained calm and he left.
I think it was the demon in human form angry that I was in his territory having an impact.

This priest has been anointed through the Sacrament of Holy Orders to bless and heal God’s children in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit! But he hasn’t once done the Sign of the Cross which every Catholic is entitled to do when praying! I would think a Priest would know that but he’s pretty young maybe he has not learned that. 🤷♀️

I think the priest is doing something good. He need sto make the sign of the cross when starting a prayer and give it them blessing as a Catholic. Don't be afraid to do something Catholic and not so secular that it looks like a Protestant. But thanks God he was brave enough to go outside of the comfortable parish. Mary bless your apostolate.
Yes as a Catholic we should never be ashamed to do the Sign of the Cross’ I noticed it too that he isn’t doing what the Catholic faith teaches. He also doesn’t end in a prayer mode and even asked how the first guy was feeling in the middle of his prayer didn’t even have a ending! Seems like he might be brand new out of seminary or maybe not completed it yet. But is good he’s reaching out

This is great, Father. I and two friends go out for the same purpose at our local Walmart. We are working under ST PAUL STREET EVANGELIZATION. It is a good group that originates out of Warren, Michigan. We do offer free rosaries and Miraculous Medals also. But then we don't wear a collar! Keep it up Father!

I needed this Father, thank you. I’ve been having intrusive thoughts about the Church which have been disturbing me because I love the Church. You reminded me of the warmth and lightness I feel upon receiving the sacraments that tell me the Holy Spirit is present and that He approves.

Thank you, Father, for this ministry. Very inspiring and something that any of us could do. So often we are trying to get a point across, whether it is proclaiming the Gospel or standing for pro-life, etc. But to just offer prayer is powerful. No arguments, just asking God to love and be present in the person's life.
