Hi Trish, to set your expectation, the BuddyBoss Platform and Theme doesn't have a feature to restrict content/certain blogposts with a payment gateway, you would need a 3rd party plugin to have such features like Membership Plugins or a Restrict Content Plugin. You do not need BuddyPress and bbPress plugins if you are already using the BuddyBoss Platform. Furthermore, the BuddyBoss Theme and Platform is not yet fully 100% compatible with WordPress multisite. If you want to use the Theme and Platform in your main site and all your subsites, then, you need to network activate it. If not, you can just activate it in the subsites where you want to use the theme and platform.

What would you suggest, if we wanted to create our own social network on the cheap? The one feature missing from your list is posting audio, but that is coming by the end of this month (site wide documents system including audio files). I have a content heavy website. I wish to create an online forum. Should i install it to a subdomain of that website or the website itself,. But I also have to install LearnDash - for good integration - should i install that to the mainsite, the subdomain forums.mywebsitename.co.uk or create a new subdomain like courses.mywebsitename.co.uk If I do the latter, will forums on forums domain be able to integrate with the courses.subdomain?

ERROR...the Buddyboss platform can't work with Buddypress active. Please deactivate. I installed Buddypress and I still get the same error message even with a fresh install of BB....lol....actually that's not funny. ITS DAMN ANNOYING
BuddyBoss Platform is a fork of BuddyPress. If you have been using BuddyPress in the past, you should remove it as the BuddyBoss Platform is a full replacement. You don't need BuddyPress if you will be using BuddyBoss Platform.
