hey SSS, I laughed when you said you cringed at the uneven date on the flowing hair coin! LOL. I'm kind of OCD too, and that does make me errrk! Very funny.
I'll be curious to see what the laser engraving does for proof coins in particular. The current process reminds me way too much of the surface of a basketball when I look at proofs under my loupe. I'm really hoping the laser engraving process finally does away with that.
Maybe the mint should produce a new technology video for it's youtube channel, "master die laser engraving". It's been years since the CNC tech video's.

The only products the mint can sell are the rehash of old American coinage. The Mint can't find good artists to make beautiful coins for collectors. Yet there are so many private Mints creating beautiful coins and rounds, Mint fail

Perfect medal for all the men trying to be women nowadays or the bald dudes who couldn't never grow a nice set of hair. IMO, its just a bunch of youtubers and eBay flippers trying to make a quick buck. For me its a total PASS, Medals suck. Less than 1 oz of silver for over 100 bucks is baffling, For people willing to pay double on the secondary market is just asinine. But it does reflect the reality of the world nowadays

Water I sent the Mint a email to do a Copper Flowing Hair . The Mint sent me back a Email that they would need Congress approval . A thick copper would of been great to see :-))

laser engraving sucks. Just like anything else, Hand engraved or Hand made is ALWAYSE best!
