Are goats over there, like hogs in the US ? A invasive species ? If so, then right on. I know Hogs here in the US destroy the natural habitat for native wildlife and starve out the local wildlife with their never ending eating. its its that kind of scenario then I see no issue with it. I can see how goats could be a big problem in areas that they are not native and have other native grass eating animals.

You need to spend more time on taking accurate shots. The .444 is built for long-range deer and bear hunting. There is no reason why you should be shooting 10 pound goats and not killing them with first shot. You are rather a terrible shot, or just don't care about hunting humanely.
