Sometimes I have to pause and take a break, get my courage back up, and try to watch it again. It's usually the party scenes, like when Mark throws a party or goes to a party or does anything social.
Also the backstories I picked up here. Mark's inner monologue mentions making a remark to April about it being "ancient history now... Haha! No." Later in either this episode or later in the series, Jez' inner monologue suggests making a joke about it being "ancient history now. He probably won't find that funny." Also, Mark recounts back in Uni being teased as "The Sick Man Of Europe". In an earlier series, Jez asks Mark "Am I a piece of shit?" To which Mark replies, "You are the shit man of Europe!"
I guess you have to be seriously inebriated to have a lot of things to talk about in a friendly coincidental visit and then forget them all when you go to sleep because you're so tired of life and you wonder why you even wake up anymore but then you stop and you watch this thing and then you think what happened to my trajectory and where did it go wrong.
"Yep, let's sit here, me in my makeup and drink vinegar and lettuce and rum, and eat moulded Dairylea and scribbled cheddar, and talk it all through forever, while those two gently hump in the corner."- Mark's summary of the whole situation is pure gold. One of the best things in the whole series.Still my favourite episode.
The stilton joke is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. I first saw this episode years ago, still remember that part and think about it often.
Whenever I need a laugh I also come straight back to it! Even reading the comments on here is making me cry with laughter. It’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever ever seen!
I honestly feel Mark is the personification of England. No matter how cool, trendy or modern England may become, at its twisted and sexually repressed backbone is this truly spineless man. Either him, or a tossup between C-3PO and my demented grandmother who turns 90 today.
I agree, but for different reasons. If England was a person it would probably wank to audiobooks about the Ottoman Empire and call his shit cooking Moroccan while wearing eyeshadow in a kitchen painted green for some reason.
@Stefano Pavone Brazil, with its devil-may-care attitude towards life's serious issues, callousness regarding timetables and almost constant partying. Tough I'm probably biased to say that, as I live in it.
This is the episode that got me to watch the whole series. I would see the clips online and be so bemused that I needed to know how things got to this point
@@gordonlekfors2708 yes, it does? joe and megan cheating on each other made april remember how angus cheated on her too, thats why she was distressed all of a sudden
I love how everytime Mark is stressed he listens to Jez lmfao
The writers for this show are geniuses; it's so awkward I can't even watch it.
You know show is good when it makes you feel so much that you can't even watch it

the same happend to me when i watched the first episode!
This show was prescient of the cringey content era
Also the backstories I picked up here.

love how lettuce made it into every course
It's lovely and filling, so it makes sense.
Including the fucking cocktail lmao
My stomach is hurting
I'd hate to call you a racist but I think it's a little more sophisticated than that. It's from the Atlas Mountains.
Bulky lettuce?
"Weedle weedles pry and needle"
😂 one of the many classic lines embedded in every day language thanks to this great show.
14:52 I love the combination of trying not to blink while gagging
I love his voiceover as well
"I hate to call you a racist at my dinner party, but..." I can't wait to use this in a conversation.
No other show gets me dying from laughter as much as Peep Show.
Let's say you had a Wikipedia page, which obviously you don't regardless of how many times you try to put one up.
"He's very decent... very wholesome... how can I steal his wife?"
It's the best sentence in this episode!
I think the 30 seconds or so from 9:00 is the happiest that Mark has ever been, or ever will be.
“It’s Moroccan, like my eye shadow” 😂
The way April calls out Jez’s bullshit is really funny. “The issue of whether Jesus had a cat?”
Best episode of the whole show. So nice to see Aggressive Mark actually going after what he wants for once.
Classic episode 😂😂😂
I love Season 9 for seeing Mark go completely off the rails, and even then it's in the most Mark fashion.
This was somehow the funniest episode of the entire show
I think you have the mose amazing face.. ive seen during the entire show
This and 'Nether Zone" are my 2 favourites
Damon Langley nether zone was hilarious
Isaac Newton which ones do you like? I've watched the entire series a bunch of times. Always ready to go back and revisit something I may have missed
TMGVideoDiaries lol thank you you're sweet
"I'd hate to call you a racist at my dinner party, but its a little more sophisticated than that"
Mark’s face after taking a sip of the moroccan cocktail is priceless 😂😂😂😂
"I very much regret starting this conversation."
"Okay can you haul in the mannequins, the normailzers.." such an underrated line
"This is my chance and I'm doing nothing!"
Hey story of my life right there!
I watched this episode while stoned, and it was the single funniest thing I've ever seen

U good bro?
@@MokkaMatti r u tryin 2 be mark?
14:52 is one of the best expressions on Marks face across all 9 seasons of this show
14:42 also
"Yep, let's sit here, me in my makeup and drink vinegar and lettuce and rum, and eat moulded Dairylea and scribbled cheddar, and talk it all through forever, while those two gently hump in the corner."- Mark's summary of the whole situation is pure gold. I cried laughing hearing the summary
omfg, when mark has to keep his eyes open, AND keep a straight face as he drinks a disgusting drink both at the same time
I'd hate to call you a racist at my dinner party, but...
Woke my family up laughing at that one.
I love how mental mark was in this episode. He would never do something like 15:46 if he was in his right state 😂
YAS!!
Mark has an absolute and utter nervous breakdown in this episode. Perfect.
The stilton joke is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. I first saw this episode years ago, still remember that part and think about it often.
It took me an hour to watch this because I had to keep pausing to manage my laughing and full-body cringes
Timothy Wilkins same here!
2:35 I love how Mark takes one last look at his fruit corner and just sets it down defeatedly.
"Eyes, bleach....is that a good one?" Jez being the sane one in their relationship is so rare.
I can't stop coming back to this ep and I have it on my computer. I just watch it on my phone here.
It's a masterpiece.
Whenever I need a laugh I also come straight back to it! Even reading the comments on here is making me cry with laughter. It’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever ever seen!
I really can't decide if "the wedding" or "the dinner party" is the best Peep Show episode. They're both brilliant
*stop actually rubbing your hands*
Hahahaah !!!!!! Yeah 'xactly !!!!
Mark is literally a cartoon villain.
“I’m playing Genital Jenga”.
This episode started me laughing hysterically, just legendary.
I absolutely fucking love Jeremy's subtle smirk at 11:31. It's almost as if he's proud of Mark LMAO
The funniest thing was the food and drink, vinegar and lettuce rum cocktail and cheddar with pen on it to look like stilton hahahha
""Oooh, look who's won the Lettuce Lottery...""
this show is the pinnacle of modern television
It's over twenty years old

Marks face when he tastes that Moroccan cocktail
What a great build up to a brilliant end. Absolutely hilarious.

I have not had a belly laugh in ages, this episode is hilarious!
Mark's eye make up is sweet.
4 years late but yeah honestly it doesn't even look bad on him lmao
WOW I saw some of these clips out of context, which were hilarious, but in context, they were actually *far crazier.*
Mark's face and voiceover at 14:52 has my stomach aching from laughter
that episode was absolutely hysterical
Man, this was the best episode of peep show, by far.
I just noticed that at 12:40 Mark is so stressed out he begins crying whilst putting the lettuce on😆
Having flashbacks of the first episode with her.
"Do a Columbo, do a Columbo."
I got to admit that I have watched every episode of Peep Show so often, I don't even cringe anymore.
"stop actually rubbing my hands" 😂🤣
17:39 'Id hate to call you a racist at my dinner party, but...'
This ep is one of my favorites 😂
i personally cannot live without Peep Show and I am really sorry that it wasn't 150 seasons
This is the episode where Mark finally, irreversibly loses the plot
I have to take breaks watching Peep Show, it's too much and I love it!
This is such an out of control episode! haha
I love how Super Hans gets hot in the absolute last season of the show.

This ia like the greatest tv episode ever
"That's not Nigella. That's even Ainsley mate."
LMAO
One of my favorite episodes of any show ever
I'm going to permanent marker I Love Peep Show on my eyelids and laugh giddily.
Thank you for upload this series. It's really difficult to see it out of England
Mark's face as 9.07. Has he ever been more excited? Too funny.
"Naughty postman...drink down my lies Angus - they taste good don't they?!" - Brilliant writing!
Wow. April was also at a bad dinner party in the IT Crowd! She's always playing that role
Yeah she's a one trick pony.
tbh her moody af behaviour at the dinner makes no sense at all. feels a bit contrived
“Did Jesus have a cat” made me laugh for a good 20 minutes when I first saw it…
marks laughter at 9:04 onward makes me so happy
Thanks so much for uploading I love this episode!
This is defs one of my top 3 fave episodes, maybe number 1! so many great moments
this episode is poetic.
Every little thing adds up atop upon one another. It's like a snowball gathering into an avalanche of social calamity.
wow, that ending is the funniest thing Iv'e ever seen!
Clearly you have never hosted a dinner party yourself.
This is the filler I needed for my lonesome holiday weekend 🧨😏
I haven`t laugh so much since season 1.
Peep Show always manages to make me cringe my face off
Why didn't Mark just order takeaway and pretend he cooked it ?
He’s too frugal for it. 😅
I havent laughed that hard since the first time i saw peepshow with the wedding pee thing.
Oh, look who's won the lettuce lottery
Legitimately classic television
"stop actually rubbing my hands" lmao
I can’t believe this was on TV. The British have it right.
This is the best episode of the show 😂
I love how he actually considers it by striking the lighter, im dead
i LOVE this show its brilliantly written
amusing it's a bit contrived. April's angry reaction at the dinner makes no sense whatsoever

Rum water lettuce vinegar and salt, trust me it's a good cocktail
This was the most beautiful disaster I've seen in any show ever.
"I'm eating a fruit corner Jeremy" I just find it so weird He can be so posh yet live with Jez lol
"what was it, super burgers?"
This show is so relatable. April is a goddess.
“I’m gonna have to bleach my eyes”
“Good idea”
How does Mark imagine hes a decent person when he lies so casually?
Don't Blink Mark
" It's from the Atlas Mountains " .....🤣🤣🤣🤣
I never registered the "great" at 9:34
14:51 i cant breathe this moment is way too funny
A wanky-Byzantine party...I don't think even Shakespeare could have put it better.
