I read a cool theory somewhere that the reason Lewis requires so many finishers is that rock and roll is one of the most enduring genres of music, especially of the ones featured in this game, so it would make sense that it's representative boss would be immensely difficult to kill.

He might be the boss with most stages while fighting him, but he was the ONLY boss who didn´t attack you during the level. Zed was shouting at you from stage, Vickie used lightining to hunt you down, Mariska caught you inside her illusions, Josey put you in his video games, and Killabilly threw cars and shot lasers from his eyes. Therefore, for not attacking you till the battling one on one, he deserved to get an epic and unsually long boss battle. Just my opinion

I didn't even know James Gunn was a composer but I noticed how the chord progression is kind of like Cherry Bomb crossed with a PSX/PS2 Megaman X track. LC's contemporary pop soundtrack also has the same action comedy effect as that of the GotG films, so I view it as a partial spiritual predecessor in that sense. UPDATE: Complete mistake, I just learned Jimmy refers to Jimmy Urine, who I didn't know about until today. However, I still think the contemporary soundtrack is comparable to the tapes and Zune in the Guardians film with the way both really drive up the camp factor and end up defining several scenes across the plot. (Think You Spin Me Right Round, Pina Colada, the Cat Stevens song, and Beastie Boys)

Killabilly somehow has good eyesight with aviator shades. Josey and Killabilly should've gotten longer fights as well and Lewis is the strongest of the 5 because of his persistence of Rock not getting killed easily.

For instance, in Ranked Mode I'd want an option to just auto-skip cutscenes. Especially those in-game ones with the phone calls. The first or second time you hear them is fine, but when you've had to replay a level to find missing collectables or just grind for Medals, it can get annoying. I'd also like an upgrade to the Sparkle meter so you can store up multiple charges of it and the ability to use newly unlocked abilities in earlier levels. I would also like the option to swap difficulty to be more easily accessible, without having to go back to the title screen. If there was a way to do that on the mission select screen, well the game didn't inform me of it. =/ I can't see how being able to use the Chainsaw Dash or Blaster in the prologue or throughout chapters 1 and 2 would effect the game in any negative way? At the very least they could be made available in ranked mode. I would also like the option to swap difficulty to be more easily accessible, without having to go back to the title screen. It's coming man, just wait until 2023! It's been officially confirmed, the only thing that will be changed is the removal of all the licensed music in the game. That's means we'll be getting some new soundtracks for the game!

That billy idol sounding ass intro gets me goin every time, i never played the game despite being the prime age to have done so, but my god the music slaps and the bosses are well designed. then again it had Mr Urine behind it so i'm hardly suprised.

All the boss fights' themes were made by Jimmy himself, the other tunes (the ones that play during the stages) were composed by Akira Yamaoka.
