    #Jhinge_Posto is a classic Bengali food which is immensely popular in West Bengal and Orissa. It is an #authentic #Bengali_food which has occupied place in almost every popular Bengali #restaurant’s Menu Card. In this recipe, #Ridge_Gourd is cooked in Poppy seeds paste, green Chillies,cashew and Nigella seeds that is black cumin or kalo jeera in bengali It is mostly accompanied with steamed Basmati rice or simply with regular rice.
    #Jhinge_Posto is a very #simple and #easy #recipe. It’s a #no_onion_no_garlic_recipe. It requires minimal and easily available ingredients to get prepared. The best part of the recipe is that it gets prepared very easily without investing much time.
    Poppy seeds or Posto has its own unique flavour and taste. So, normally people don’t eat #jhinge_posto ot #Jhinge_Aloo_Posto with any flavoured rice. It tastes best with #steamed #Basmati_rice. But you can have it with Rotis, Parathas, Chapatis, Luchi as well.

      Akjoner jonne 1 sp ba 2 sp enough, but sometimes it is difficult to make paste of a very small amount of posto, so apni ektu beshi porimane niye paste baniye sekhan theke 1 ba 2 sp nite paren, bakita deep freeze e rekhe dile 2 wks obdi toh bhaloi thake, apni onno kichute try korte parben aram se 😊

      Normally jhinge ba potol jatiyo khabare tel kintu khub sohojei separate joye Jay ! Apni posto deaoar por flame kom rekhechilem nischoi?? Kintu tar poreo Jodi kono karone oil separate na hoy, sufficient oil deoar por o, tahole namanor age apni 1 ba 2 tbsp kacha shorsher tel diye flame off kore dite paren, ami anek somoy etai kori,specifically alu posto te, etate taste o bhalo lage ar oil separate aram se hoye Jay 😅
      Ekbar try kore dekhben 😄❤❤
