Ark: Equus Stable - How To Build

- This is my take on an equus stable with a small area to breed equus's in, this is the first of many builds that I will be doing on various creatures in ark. This is an aesthetic pve build that is built so that you can attach it to the side of your base or continue the build all the way around and connect it together. leave a like, sub and turn on notifications if your interested in seeing more builds from me. I also have other builds on my channel if you want any ideas for other builds.

Hi there these numbers are not exactly correct like the stone triangle foundations you need a whole lot more to what it shows in your video.

Also it's easier If place fence foundations before placing walls

Do you know any tricks to get traiangle foundation to fit work properly?
@@dannyharkins1821 I used stairs swapped to ramps, looks good at the front, bit janky at the back cause you have to have the triangle roofs in the corners to fill the gaps

Could you show us how you completed the roof? I'm pretty sure its unfinished in this video, as we never see the back of the build, once you pan out.
My friend, nor myself could get it to work. Id like to know if you actually finished,or if its not worth the time to try.

This is really similar to the stable I build a lot but I love the angled bit and that you can continue this all the way around! Mine was before S+ (I play console) so it was just an L shape (boring!) Love your build style!
This is a beautiful dedign! Love it so much. Been playing for 1.5 months and your designs are a wonderful inspiration. Even if you don't do step by step, 😊 anyone can figure it out if we slow down the speed. No reason for folks to be jerks!! --As for those tricksy slope triangle roofs, I had the same issue. I went with someone's smart suggestion in the comments of usimg the stairs and turning them to ramps. 🎉😊 Keep rocking your awesome designs!!!❤

Got mine built , some how i ended up with 3 doors on each except middle , the triangle roofs wouldn't angle down like in the video , but i improvised front looks good on mine at least , back not so good lol, i enjoy the video builds , ty

It’s too bad that the way it’s being built in order is not do able on official. Have to do fence foundations and pillars first. Otherwise this is nice!
At the time of building this i thought that most people knew what order to build things on official but i thought wrong so my bad! All of my newer how to builds are built on official settings in the correct order. And thankyou!!
Even if i do them first, i can't build the fence on top of it, since the pillar is half sticking out....
Also, the ramps. Can't place the lower ramps.....

Oke so when i get to the roof angle at 9:00 it wont let me turn the sloped roof to get it the same way yours is facing im pressing rotate it just not doing anything

Could not get the pillars to snap onto the build at all. And a lot of trouble with the ramps. But I took the gist of this and made mine and I like it a lot so far!!!

These triangle roofs will be the death of me :( Some snap right in others its been forever. But so far love this build. But afraid i wont finish because of those triangle roofs
i cant get * the upper triangle to fit unleess the other side is gone ***
I love the viking roofs you do. However mine never want to work right. When i place the fence foundations, sometimes they say they aren't supported, and also, when i try to place the walls, it says there is no foundation support. I have to place the pillars as support, but it doesn't always work, my current build is giving me fits. is there a size limit for these style of ceilings? or is there something I'm missing? any help appreciated

@@SypherSam like maybe height? i am building a barn that I'm using the roof on. now, i didn't place ceilings, is that necessary?
@@naravyn2248 yeah you have to place ceilings for the support, unfortunately there isn't many roof options in the game so we have to make do with things like this
@@SypherSam i bet that is my mistake then. the person who first watched your videos didn't explain it to me that way, and i was watching while preoccupied. thanks! i'd love a more detailed video of the viking town or even just the large viking house, the showcase makes me want to build it, but i need step by step instructions obviously
@@naravyn2248 ill probably do a Viking longhouse how to build at some point, more of a fantasy style though. once I get some better editing software my videos will be even better.

How do you make fence foundations snap to snap points vs freely placing anywhere
The last part of the big roof won t snap with the ramps it says its blocked

@@gustavehrenreich1319 its a setting you need to turn on so that you can clip structures through other objects. To turn it on you need to go into general settings and scroll down until you find a setting that says something like collision and tick that box

Don't do this construction, the roofs don't fit
Couldn't place the wooden pillars, it kept saying obstructed. And had to place the stone fencing before placing the walls. WHYYY!!!! DX
If you are on official then you have to do that unfortunately
I had the same issue my guy. On cue maybe say that or place it like that in the first place. dense head
@@faddahfus3447 Official servers are less populated then private ones that have no collison and at the time didn't know that that many people played offiicial. If you are someone who has watched many other videos on my channel you will see that the quality of the videos improved over time because i started gaining more experience and seeing the feedback, thats just my channel evolution.

Did you just leave the other half of the roof unfinished..? I’ve tried to replicate it and like you, I can’t get the triangle roofs to go into place.
Yeah the triangle roofs are super buggy for some reason, its like a puzzle 😂
I've found that they go where you want a little easier if you add a temporary outside ceiling piece. For some reason it doesn't work as well if the target piece is on the edge.

Hey admin how about you try and build this without being admin and build it in same pace as your video.
Because having creativite mode makes it better to record video's and more easily understood by anyone who watches
@@SypherSam But in creative mode your design works i bet you could not complete the same design in normal mode. I tried and it did not work. So your videos are worthless to people who play the game in normal not everyone has creative mode!
@@lizzerdjaxson591 This can be built in normal mode very easily, the only thing creative mode does is give you infinite resources and the ability to fly so if your on normal and you know how to farm materials then this can be built very easy. Are you a new player or something?

i can't do the thing he does from 8:55. Can't place the lower ramps. Also can't place the wooden pillar. Says "obstructed"

Those damn triangle roofs! wildcard needs to fix them they are so buggy and they are so tedious
I countered it by placing triangle ceilings instead of sloped ones and then covering the holes with walls

This is going to sound weird but I had to make one side the normal ark triangle roof and the other side my SS (superstructure) triangle roof. I'm guessing this is just some sort of weird glitch
I figured out the hard way that this is definitely NOT a utility dino pen- i fit a doedic in and my anky wouldn’t budge, didn’t even try my trike

@@SypherSam yes me being stupid thought “oh, i don’t have an equus so i’ll ignore the title and spend 3 hours building this for my other dinos” yeah but i love the build but hate myself for thinking i know best- but oh well now i have an excuse to go take a lot of equus’

Kill a horse then use a taxidermy tool on it

Are you usings sloped roofs for that part because if so, you need to use actaul ramps to snap them to the wall
