This was filmed at one of their 2017 concerts called Moosical Curtain Call. The previous year they held their first solo concerts, which were called Moosical (naturally lol). They did 4 concerts in 2016 and my guess is this vid is from the first 2017 concert so tho it's only the 5th concert of their career they absolutely own the stage like vets who've been doing it for decades. Mamamoo always uses a live band for their Korean concerts. Takes it to the next level imo. Agree about the dancing. Mamamoo has what I call an old school entertainer approach to performing live. Their world class, always live vocals are their calling card so they use hand mics 99% of the time and since they used to do most of their own choreo they arranged the dances so they can sing well. They also leave space in the choreo to allow for ad libs, pranks and hijinks and lots of audience interaction. I always say the stage is their playground and the audience is their play date for the day. This is basically the opposite of most kpop groups, who focus on presenting perfectly synchronized, knife-like choreo and are willing to sacrifice the vocals and lip sync or rely heavily on backing track vocals. I don't think it's necessary to judge either performance philosophy - different strokes for different folks with different agendas. However it's unfair for fans of other groups to criticize MMM for their dancing. And it's not like they can't dance. They won a group dance award in 2017 for Yes I Am and Hwasa won the 2020 MAMA solo dance performance award for her song Maria over nominees like dance legend Taemin of Shinee. Mamamoo's dance line is Moonbyul & Wheein so that means one of the worst dancers in a group people say can't dance managed to win a dance award over top tier competition. What's wrong with this picture? Probably not their dance skills, eh? I think small minded haters should STFU and enjoy Mamamoo for the many things they do well, including their dancing in certain songs. Life is short - let's celebrate the beauty great artists bring to our lives rather than look for ways to tear them down. Rant over. 🙄 To answer your questions, Solar is my bias because she can make me cry at the bend of a note and she destroys me when they do ballads. I'd recommend Um Oh Ah Yeah and Decalcomanie next. They're two of MMM's most iconic songs and you might as well get a taste of the gender bending and sexuality whiplash in their discography. lol

They have a very stable voice even if they dance, that’s how strong their vocal is. Must watch their concert for once in a lifetime. You should watch MMMTV ep. 6, how they play inside a car. And their chemistry in a group, you can’t see in other GG. Do watch mamamoo killing voice if you haven’t, medley of their song. Anyway even their side B song is good too.

It's their concert closer and you will hear it played at every Korean pride event. Ot4 bias is just fine. I think a bias chooses you, you don't choose your bias. For me it's Solar, though I love all of them.

They toured in Southeast Asia and even 9 US cities but of course the movie just focuses on the early concerts. I would suggest checking out their title tracks or maybe even the set list of the tour. USA set list was shorter because the show show time wasn't as lengthy as the other countries so maybe start with that? I don't have any kids (yet), but I'm old enough to be their father, so yeah, it's like asking me which of my kids is my favorite. I recommend watching their appearances on MAMA (the MNET Asian Music Awards), in reverse order, 2020, 2019, 2018. Korean TV stations are very jealous of their content and don't like reaction videos, so you'll have to mask it somehow if you do a reaction video, but I recommend watching them regardless. You'll have the same problem doing reactions to the Immortal Songs show.
