Both quick shifter and OEM slipper. And yea... the only time I was rev matching was down into first gear for both horseshoes. It's not something I do often unless required to keep the bike settled.
Tim i normally dont like to ask questions but i saw something that got my attention, no prob if u dont want to answer. when u guys come out of the bank to turn 1 i noticed that the rear doesnt shake like mine does, do u guys shift down or just break?? i was coming out and i was using the checked lane as down shifting point i was in 3th or 4th almost all the time while making turn 1, but my rear was shaking a lot and my break wasnt holding my mechanic said that the break fluid was overheating. anyway should i start breaking way before or this is normal?? i try to go as deep as i can without breaking so i can catch up faster but i go off road a lot. thank u if u can answer.
+J Gomes I'm down shifting from 6th to 2nd gear off the banking into T1. While the first few shifts are fast and firm, my clutch release into second gear is slow and smooth as to not upset the rear end of the bike. As for braking, it's applied late and steady while trailing to the apex. Hope that helps.
Hey Titan. Thanks for the reply. Sorry you had issues. We all have some kind of troubles. What were yours? Mine was a malfunction with the fuel jug. It cost me over a minute and half in the pits. I was up to 16th place at one point. I hope to make it back again. Not sure yet.
I am Titan too. I didn't go back this year. Just didn't get everything together. I am going next year with a new bike. First was a bad battery, then fuel pump, coil, clutch and finally the engine let go about 3 laps in. Here's a little video of my whole race.
