Points of Interests is really just to help people who are just starting out. If you're playing with or teaching someone who's new to the game, that would be the time to use it. But I agree, Points of Interest and Disasters are the expansion I permanent store on the shelf in that extra wallet Button Shy just gave us.
Thanks for the video. I have very similar feelings about the expansions and acropolis. I also am not sure why acropolis just does not have the same appeal.
I tend to agree with your thoughts on combopolis is the best style of expansion, but I don't own naturopolis and don't think I need to, I like agropolis. This game is best solo, or even playing solo but making decisions together with another person rather than using the coop rules for 2p.

The reason why I choose not to play with Agropolis is that I'm uncomfortable with a game that normalizes animal exploitation and environmental destruction. Given my concern for our planet and the ethical treatment of all human and non-human animals, playing Agropolis would not only be a constant reminder of the troubling realities reflected in documentaries like The Smell of Money but would put me in the shoes of being part of the evil machine.
Here's an idea - Interstate II, where one side of the interstate combines sprawl & agro, while the other side combines sprawl & naturo...

Scoring cards are harder in Agropolis which is why I prefer Sprawlopolis.
What about Agropolis seasons?

Where/how do you get your food? Not an attack, just genuinely curious at what your work-around is since you dislike our agricultural systems.
