tis only works if the video is steady or the person remains on same spot lol, imagine walking left or right the generated background wont match anymore since its only a solid frame :D

Hi. Thanks for your comment. I agree with you wholeheartedly. Simple set extension is a boon for content creators. I am looking forward to seeing what you can do with this technique. Take Care! ^KM

@@AdobeCreativeCloud Another interesting tactic, now that users are becoming acquainted with this capability, is to make hopefully small adjustments to shooting choices on-scene that can maximize opportunities later on in post-production for this technique. It's not mentioned in this video, but of course, action that stays central and isolated from the expansion zones are the ideal use case; anything else starts eating away at the workflow benefits of A.I.

Hi. Most certainly, creators will begin shooting scenes differently to utilize the generative fill feature. We'll see even more intriguing ideas as time marches on. I can't wait! Thx, ^KM

Can we do same or atleast little same in Premiere itself. I am much more focused in video skills than Photography software.
The Firefly doesn't give much perfect results as Photoshop.
Waiting for Generative Fill in Premiere.

If you've ever wondered why Adobe is laggy on your brand new M12 Ultra super max Macbook Ultra Pro, it's because the app is sending tracking data of EVERY SINGLE KEYSTROKE YOU MAKE -> back to Adobe and they're using that data to create this AI garbage.

Actually downloaded the practice files, followed every step as instructed and didn't get the same result on windows. Currently on version 24.0.0. Build 58. Updating now to the latest version via CC. Hoping the result changes. The files provided for the windows version are not 4k, 1080x1920 instead. The result did not come out the same. Does importing the PNG change the resolution of the sequence automatically? Are there any steps missing? @AdobeCreativeCloud ?

Updated to the latest version and the resolutions don't really match. The source file is 1080x1920 vertical video with no space horizontally. Following the steps in this video it seems the source file should have been 3840x2160 with black space on the sides. Something is not lining up. Also noticed he's using a mac and I'm using a windows computer. Any suggestions?
