Me, too!!! I’ve been binging Heartland on Netflix. First of all, I’m a Texan, have owned a farm and horses - so I was shocked to discover Canadians are like displaced Texans! They’re rugged and tough, love their land and sometimes have to use their gun. They don’t even talk funny (but I know we do). Second - I’m an Austin City Limits, Nanci Griffith/Michael Martin Murphy Cosmic Cowboy/Nerry Neff Walker lover; but Heartland has turned me on to new tunes and I’m loving them. And I think they’re all Canadian. These guys are fantastic! The harmonies so tight, yet so natural. The instrumentals are enchanting. I think I’m ready to move north...
Love these guys! Have seen them a few times in Cleveland. They put on an amazing show. Saw them at a small venue just outside of Cleveland. While buying some of their merchandise after the show, they asked if we wanted to meet them? Got to hang out and have a few beers with them. Very down-to-earth bunch.
it took me a while to find that motel on google earth. i grew up in niagara falls and was too young to see the perform in local bars but this band puts on an awesome show.
