I worked hard at it every day, but I was the only one working hard at the marraige. I did not believe in divorce, a marraige should be forever in our natural lives. For the your ones put there.... pray and ask for the Holy Spirit to lead, teach and guide you. Getting married is one of the most important decisions of your life.... to choose the right one. Jimmy Evan’s is a false teacher do not listen to him about marriage. Jesus is very clear in Luke 16:18 we are not to marry someone divorced while their one flesh spouse is still living. If one does marry someone divorced, while their one flesh spouse is still living, they are in adultery. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 & Galatians 5:19-21 is clear, “those in adultery will not inherit the kingdom of God!”
Why is that a problem? In this country especially it would not be unusual for an average person to make association with people of great wealth. Also, it is not uncommon for someone with a modest background through hard work and being a good steward of their money to become wealthy. Although riches do not equal righteousness, poverty does not equal piety. In the context that pastor Evans is using here, I am thankful he had made this association because it greatly aided in making his point and illustrating Gods will!
