@@Broncoride Once I’m completely healed from surgery I’ll take you up on that offer. Tail of the Dragon 🐉 was my first UA-cam video I put on my channel. But it was in the car while going to Kentucky.
Excellent turnout, We were about to head there when Kake received bad news. We had to turn around and head back to New Orleans for a funeral. Maybe we could make it next year,
I love your blogs I’m actually live in Vermont and my wife and I went down to Tennessee last year on a motorcycle on the pan America wrote the tail of the dragon had an absolute blast and this year we are doing it again and we were wondering if you had any insight on what trails to ride we’re thinking about the smoky mountains. people also talk about the back of the Dragon, which is in Virginia. What’s your insight on that?
Hey Joe. Thank you for that. Check out Parsons Branch road on UA-cam. Right by the Tail. Back of the Dragon is a great road. About 3 hours from Smokies.
Love riding fun roads both directions. It can be 2 completely different experiences and it is excellent! But huge group rides… not my fave. I usually ride well in front or behind a group that size. Miss ya brother and hope you are loving your new home.
@@Broncoride I'm game. I've never ridden it (done it in my wife's Subaru after it reopened, lol), but it shouldn't be super challenging. The creek fords are all paved and small, rest is gravel and dirt. Best to start early to miss the Cades Cove crowd. Just let me know when you want to try it! Another fun day would be to do the Redneck Dragon and take the gravel road over to Chattahoochee and commune with the Elk
12:05 it is Parsons Branch, it’s been open and closed off and on forever, the getting through Cades Cove to get to it is a nightmare!! I haven’t done it yet for that very reason
@@Broncoride The groups at OWN will be big enough for me, plus I'll break it up with some of my own routing. Are you making to O.W.N. next week..? Or do have to stay home to cut the lawn? 🤣😂
Moved from Maryland two years ago, wife is from just outside of Bristol and I’ve been coming here 25 years. Really don’t miss MD even though I was one of “Maryland’s Finest”. Head over here to Bristol. Be glad to meet up and chat.
Pretty cool having police assistance like that! Missed Foothills back in October when I was down that way, I was about to go over the Cherohala when someone who'd just come over in a car told me it was 25 degrees up there (at noon) due to the cold front that had come through overnight, so I decided to head back to Maggie Valley. I just wasn't dressed for it, I'd already stopped to warm up three times by then. Next trip for sure!
Colin, since you now live in eastern Tennessee you are very near a road I love. The Snake Rte 421. Just ask anyone with a motorcycle there. A perfect road for the PA. I plane on riding it soon as it has been over ten years since my last excursion. Check it out.
This was a great video! Thanks for coming to my event, I enjoyed the positive commentary. Hopefully we can ride Parson Branch together soon.
It was a great time and that sounds cool on Parsons.
what'up. Broncoride! professional , see you soon!
Hey Prohodaction!
glad you had a good time at the RTH3, and enjoyed hanging out with you for a bit Saturday
Great seeing you again and I’m glad we are so close now.
I live about 2 hours from Tail of the Dragon 🐉
We need to meet-up and ride.

We rented a bike from that dealership back in 14. I met Tall at Sturgis a couple of years ago. He seemed very genuine and a nice guy!
I agree. He seemed very genuine and he put on a great event.
Didnt know you movied to Tennessee. We talked to a couple thar this be theirs 3 year
Yes sir. Just moved here about a month ago. Great place
That is so cool with the police departments being involved all the way through!!
Just found your channel. Welcome to Tennessee.
Thank you Brent. Glad to be here.
It was my first time doing RTH, and I'll definitely try to make it
I’m glad I attended. Will do it again for sure.

Slow rolling the Dragon....ugh. At least you were prepared....and you saved some side rubber, lol. Nice video!
I need to take Parson Branch road that I saw towards end of vid. We need to do this soon.

If your into no stop lights stop signs or houses this is a good road
It was nice having the police escort. Made quick work of the ride.
See you soon in Ohio. Looked like an amazing meetup. And I use the phrase all the time Ride your own Ride! Ride Safe

Yes, I’d have to get there early to avoid that. We tried last year, but come to find out they are closed on Wednesday’s except for cyclists.
@@Broncoride that figures! I tried a couple of years ago, but bailed when they told us how long it would be….
8:49 that left into Deals Gap can be pretty tricky if you’re not careful, no surprised it got jammed up a bit
Little tricky but made it in.
@@Broncoride looks like an awesome day!
Fun for some, but you'd never catch PaiN's Rides in those big group rides, especially on roads like these....It wouldn't be enjoyable for me.
It would have drove you crazy, but still enjoyable for me. I expected it going into to it. Foothills was much more open for the group in most places.

Looking forward to it Andy.
Looks like a great ride and a fun day my friend.
Riding your motorcycle is always a good reason for taking a day off work. Good for you, Cheers
I need to do that more often.
2:22 terrible you have to ride those roads!!
Haha. Nice country roads.
Great ride!
It was a great event! We really enjoyed it! It was our first time as well. Safe travels 🤘🏼
That looked like a really great ride. Thanks for bringing us along.
Hey bud was you there Saturday
Yes, Fri and Sat.
@@Broncoride wished I know that
I was there
Sorry we didn’t get a chance to meet. Great time for sure.
