  • From an episode of Memphis Wrestling from the early 80’s. Jerry Lawler (with Danny Davis) hypes up his upcoming match with Sonny King. We see a clip of a Sonny King interview talking about a comeback from a stabbing incident that hospitalized him. A babyface Jerry Lawler replies, seemingly a little uneasy about the situation. Jerry was good here, slightly heelish, but not overly much so, selling the storyline of the match ahead of time.
    Memphis wrestling was so good.

    Danny Davis later partnered with fellow wrestler Ken Wayne and became a successful tag-team masked wrestlers "The Nightmares."

      @@isaacbraxton1731 Yep. I've seen a classic concession brawl between Farris & Latham against Lawler & Dundee. Farris later became the "Honky Tonk Man" and Latham became "Moondog Spot."
