Hearing George Lowe reprise his role as Space Ghost is incredible. It feels like running into an old friend who you haven’t seen in forever but they haven’t changed one bit in all the best ways.
I still remember "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast" where Space Ghost told Conan O'Brian that his origin story was that he was born a ghost, but then it cuts to him trying to use an electric shaver to shave a fish in a fish bowl implying he died from being electrocuted in such a stupid way. I miss that show.

I met George Lowe once. He was seated next to Big Bob Carter (voice of Balrog, who yelled "MY FIGHT MONEY!" with me) George's mother had recently passed away, and he was debating on whether or not he should show up to the convention. He said she would have wanted him to, signed my Space Ghost Hallmark Ornament, and it goes up every year on my Christmas tree. He wrote "Warm your doodle by the fire" and kept asking if it was okay - he was worried he'd ruin it. I told him he christened it. Very nice man.
Hearing George Lowe voicing Space Ghost again (probably the final time) was awesome indeed. I still have his autograph which I've ordered from his website 10 years ago.
I'm so happy to hear George Lowe's voice again after so many years, but it's so sad to hear how much he's aged. You can hear it in his voice. He's such a sweet man in real life.
He has aged, but I think he's also trying to incorporate Gary Owens a bit into the voice. His absurd line delivery is still the same as it was on SGC2C. But it is a little noticeable like with Billy West. Also George is only 67, not in his 80's

Beautiful... "Space Ghost Coast to Coast" basically died when he did, I doubt they can just reboot it without him... Especially, because the current Adult Swim execs don't care for it, (yet that show invented A.S.) and some former SG staff like Mike Lazzo see Space Ghost as "an old shame" unfortunately... Given how hit or miss reboots are, maybe it's best they don't try to reboot it.
There's something really sad about this cameo, it's almost like CN accepting that their old talent and style is gone or the people behind that original identity are too old to be working there anymore. Space Ghost accepting that he's just some dude now and going home to live a regular life feels like the right kind of "acceptance" of it all, cause even in the context of the show it's a joke.... But there's sincerity to it.

It almost feels like sacrilege not having him drawn in the original style when animated. That isnt saying I hate the art of Jellystone (its probably the most fun style of a cartoon in a long time), I'm just used to Space Ghost either being drawn in the original art style or reused animations from the original cartoon (Coast to Coast). That said, HILARIOUS interpretation and lots of respect for the character.

Always nice to hear Geoge Lowe again, although its definitely sad how weak his voice has gotten over the years. But on the plus side, the weaker voice kinda gives him more of a wise, Gary Owens-esque vibe. And the way he whistles his S sounds now makes him sound like a prospector and that's kinda cute.
I'm pretty sure that was just a rumor or a joke or something. All of the interviews with Lowe from the last ten years I've seen have him still enthusiastic about Space Ghost
I fear without the original producers, (voice, artist, and animator C. Martin Croaker died, and producer Mike Lazzo basically disowned the show) it just wouldn't be the same, and I fear they would just fill it with zoomer potty humor.

The announcer in CNPTE is indeed supposed to be Space Ghost, it's the same VA, and the narrator even alludes to Moltar (Cartoon Network doesn't have a lot of lever pulling lava men) in the story mode's ending

Always nice to hear Geoge Lowe again, although its definitely sad how weak his voice has gotten over the years. But on the plus side, the weaker voice kinda gives him more of a wise, Gary Owens-esque vibe. And the way he whistles his S sounds now makes him sound like a prospector and that's kinda cute.
I hope Peter is settling down well in Jellystone.
If one sentence is enough to get Space Ghost to believe he is someone else, imagine what the Jedi mind trick would do.
He's not hard to hypnotize, a small incantation is enough. The important thing is to spin your eyes counterclockwise.

I'm pretty sure that was just a rumor or a joke or something. All of the interviews with Lowe from the last ten years I've seen have him still enthusiastic about Space Ghost
The only thing that would have made this more perfect is Space Ghost saying "Did you get that thing I sent ya?"

I fear without the original producers, (voice, artist, and animator C. Martin Croaker died, and producer Mike Lazzo basically disowned the show) it just wouldn't be the same, and I fear they would just fill it with zoomer potty humor.

Space Ghost sounds like the announcer voice from the Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion game. And it sounds just like him.
The announcer in CNPTE is indeed supposed to be Space Ghost, it's the same VA, and the narrator even alludes to Moltar (Cartoon Network doesn't have a lot of lever pulling lava men) in the story mode's ending
