I only just watched this having made my purchase 2 weeks ago (ASUS TUF Gaming plus WiFi) and pleased that you liked it. I went for this because I needed a decent motherboard to go with the 7900 that so impressed me at low power. If you're spending this much, I reckon the lower midrange is best and I don't mind paying an extra 10% for a fuller set of capability (even if I don't need it now), a nice look + I like ASUS boards. Glad you covered it and keep up the good stuff.
You are such a fontain of knowledge, that I can understand. Can I ask you, if you conecting your audio, such as headphone, microphone, by USB does the system uses the audio codec 1220 or or the 4080, in these motherboards? Or we have to connect to the rear pannel with the input jack?Does it matter?
Awesome video PC Builder! I bought yesterday the ASRock X670E Steel Legend with ryzen 9 7950x and the sweet spot ddr5 g.skill tridentZ5 neo RGB 6000mh 16gb x2 cl30! Glad to see this motherboard in your recommended section. I was a bit worried about audio but I will see later how it sounds. The only thing I don't like in this motherboard is the second pcie x16 slot with only 4x connected. Kinda dissapointed in that but overall this motherboard looks fantastic!
New Sub I was wondering a few things off topic. I'm thinking about getting a new high end Laptop from either CLX or Falcon NW the DRX or OSISIS. Which in your opinion is the coolest temp cpu i7 10700k 11700k 12700h 3,5 ghz i9 11900k
Thanks Jason! I need USB ports more than PCI-E slots and I don't overclock much... sounds like I may get the most basic board just for longevity purposes. PCI-E 5.0 for graphics is a total waste even for the next few years as you said, so 'maybe' I'll have a PCI-E 5.0 SSD at some point, but that's about it. I hope you'll review the B series when it's out next week!
It's ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS especially with these x670e motherboards where the price is around $500 just for the motherboard and then $300 for the cheapest cpu. You can almost build a pretty decent PC ( as long as you're willing to buy a used gpu) for the same cost as the mobo and cpu. IT'S FU@KING RIDICULOUS
Yo watched this like 5 times and am a bit torn What's ur opinion on Asus Pro Art X670e vs the Asus Strix Gaming x670e-e? I'm building a new workhorse pc that is literally all purpose from 4k editing to high end VR gameplay and recording, streaming etc. I'm really torn between the 2. I don't need the 10gb lan but the usb 4 seems nice to have, the 16+2 power phase concerns me but I only plan on using the automatic overclocking features of the 7950x would this be enough? Full build should be 4090, 1300w psu, 32gb 6000 ddr5 and a 7950x. Only reason I passed on the asrock x670e tachi was the lack of the lower pcie lane but if you feel that would be a better option i'm still considering it! Any guidance would be appreciated!
Honestly none of the gen5 nvme I've seen specs for even max out gen4 bandwidth. We saw the same thing with the first gen4 nvme not being able to saturate gen3 bandwidth. There's probably a measurable difference if you set up ur benchmark just right, but nothing anyone would ever be able to tell. Congrats on getting this video out so early. Ur a machine lol
Thanks for the round-up. I went with the Asus ROG Crosshair X670E Gene. I wanted a mATX board and I didn't mind the high price since I'll keep this board through several generations of future AMD CPUs and it had all the enthusiast features I wanted in a compact form factor, such as USB4 and three M.2 slots. It is a beautifully-engineered board which looks great, too.
@@PCBuilderChannel Thank youuu!! I have a query, I'm Kind of ready to build a new machine with Ryzen 7000 series and a RTX 4000 series, but I was wondering, what's your recomendation about it. When could it be a good time to buy these items?? Greetings from South America!!
I have just purchased the ASROCK 670XE PRO RS for my Ryzen 7900x be at home with. Never spent a great deal on a motherboard in the past so this was quite expensive for my liking (£350 gbp). The audio codec isn't really a issue for me as if i want to improve that you can by other means. But all the other stuff is very nice and it does look great.
Hi Jason. Thank you for all of the great content and for making buy decisions easy for us. I want to make a top tier amd cpu amd gpu (when new gpus release)pc. Could you start a pc part picker list for people like me? I'm still confused about an adequate cooler and RAM to go for. Thank you in advance!
Hello! So glad you are enjoying. I've got a 7900X build you can check out on the channel now. When the new GPUs come out we will do lots of sample builds to help you design your builds so stay tuned!
My god this video was exactly what i was searching for, greatly structured, exactly what i was asking myself with all questions covered. Thank you so much for the great content! Looking out for your video on the B650 Series :)
Great video, thank you, but I'd like to hear/learn more about "audio codecs" on motherboard... How to know which ones are high quality and which ones are not, and what exactly is the purpose of "audio codec", what's that thing exactly, how can you use it, is it for headphones, speakers or what, etc... :)
On x670 it is pretty binary because there are no boards with "middle step" codecs like the ALC1100, ALC1200, etc. They are either entry level ones ALC897, or they immediately jump up to the best available (ALC1220 & ALC4080). I do expect we'll see some more of the middle step ones in B650 as board makers look to trim costs down a bit more. When we do the best motherboard for Ryzen 7000, we will do an audio section and go into codecs a little more in detail - just waiting for B650 to launch.
Hey could you help me pick some equipment for a gaming pc build. I was thinking of a price around 2200$ for the pc and a monitor. I would choose to go for an Intel core i9 11700k with a gtx 3070 or 2080ti. Additionally I would choose 1 or 2 tb ssd with a liquid cooler (not custom made) but I dont know what mainboard to get etc.
What motherboard would you recommend for a ryzen 7 7700x with a 3080 and I would like to be able to upgrade these in the future so what mother board would be slightly over kill but after some upgrades would be perfect.
Probably a little too in-depth for what we do, but here is a great article to get you started: www.hardwaretimes.com/how-does-a-vrm-work-phases-doublers-inductors-and-capacitors/#:~:text=They%20function%20by%20distributing%20the,portion%20of%20the%20required%20amount.
You're the goat man. One thing I'll say about motherboards, I'll overspend as much as it takes for a dr debug lol. It's crazy that the motherboard manufacturers make you pay $300+ for a couple of seven segment displays
Honestly gr8 work u r doing. U made the explanation so much easy, I was getting more n more focussed in what u were saying. Keep it up. Btw, want to get ur opinion on a PC build that I wana do. I was originally planning to do a DDR4 build with 5900x for main use of running VMs, which would make it more affordable. But since Ryzen 7000 launched, which shows a lot of performace uplift, like crossing 5+ GHz, I literally got excited. But then I learned the bitter truth, that is, Expensive CPU + Expensive MOBO + Expensive RAM + Expensive SSD PCIe5. And since AMD mentioned only for it to be there till like late 2025, should I go with Ryzen 7000 or going with 5900x/64GB RAM DDR4/1TB SSD Gen 3, will have me covered for like next 10 years for mostly running VMs?
That's a great question. I think that 5900X build will be an absolutely beast. But you might want to wait a bit and see how the Ryzen 7000 performance numbers change when the next gen gpus become available next month. For more on that see the 7900X build we did on the channel. The launch of the new Intel CPUs and Black Friday will also likely affect Ryzen 5000 and Ryzen 7000 pricing so it might not hurt to give it a few weeks and see what happens.
If i heared you right you said that there are no pci-e gen 5 graphics cards available and wont be for a long time. Isnt the new lineup from amd coming in like 6 weeks based on gen 5 pci-e?
absolutly love the videosssss but 13th gen intel might put ryzen 7000 on the chopping block becuase ddr4 and you can use older z690 like you said pcie gen 5 ssds are useless but z690 does support pcie 5.0 x16 bandwith for extra extra furureproofing
@@PCBuilderChannel absolutly love the videosssss but 13th gen intel might put ryzen 7000 on the chopping block becuase ddr4 and you can use older z690 like you said pcie gen 5 ssds are useless but z690 does support pcie 5.0 x16 bandwith for extra extra furureproofing
With that budget right now I'd look at Ryzen 5000 series. But you might want to wait a bit and see what prices do around Black Friday and the Intel launches
Thank you sooo much for this. I was looking at MB's last night to price and what features to look for. I have always gone with Asus. I work on my PC and occasionally game on it. I was looking at the Asus x670E.... Would going for more features like PCIE5 future proof and yes I know that doesn't really work buuut I did it with my old machine and I am still working with it to this day but now after +6-10 years it's showing it's age. Would love your insight. Thanks!
So glad this was helpful! I found the current Asus options pretty overpriced (we do go through them in the recommendation section) but they are beautiful boards.
@@PCBuilderChannel Yup Asus has always been overpriced but I have loved their build quality. I wonder if and when the prices are going down. I might have to wait until next year.
pcie gen 5 graphics cards would be a game changer. Even if it wouldn't saturate a gen 4 16x lanes bc i would then have no qualms about running it at gen 5 8x lanes. This would then save me 8 lanes which i could use for a whole lot of different things
TuF Gaming not sure now if i should go for b650 or X670E since you said 560 is the same as x570 which i already have, guess im going with the TuF X670 E
Have you tried installing Win 10 onto a gigabyte board? It seems to lack the driver necessary for the NVME M.2 drive and their website doesn’t have a driver for it either.
Thanks for all this great info. I admit to being overwhelmed. I feel a learn a lot but know less than before. Would you please consider an occasional video is targeted for those of us who are not hobbyist but are embarking on a rare build because we will learn something, its a good project with my grandson, and the nice sense of accomplishment. I'm really looking for good ways to find my sweet spot system.
We try to do a number of videos for new and returning builders. Start with our PC Parts explained video in the "How to build a PC" playlist on the main channel page to get started and we offer a number of general videos on RAM, CPUs, GPUs, and more there too along with specific build guides. Hope that helps!
I'm really glad I watched this video, seems like I was about to over spend like $200 more because there were a few things I didn't understand and I was ignorant. But yes I agree with you, after the $335~ price point, the cost of these boards soar way high and there are significant diminishing returns for the money spent. Great job on the video! I'm grateful for the explanation.
@@PCBuilderChannel btw quick question, for boards that don't have SPDF port, do I have to buy an S/PDIF mini board separately and use motherboard's built in S/PDIF connector or is there a work around??
as always awesome video. did you see they shot the am4 AMD CPU prices back up after dropping there new ones yesterday. the 5950x 5900x 5800x3d all shot back up 100 bucks overnight
@@x8jason8x yesterday the 5950x was 499 on Amazon and micro center 5900 was 80 cheaper and 5800x3d was about 70 cheaper and they were for brand new. today the 5950 is 699 at Amazon
@@donaldsmith881 Yeah there are some extreme examples, but I pulled prices from everywhere on the tally. 5950x is 639 on amazon where I'm sitting though. 5900x on amazon, direct from AMD is only 368 though, so it's almost as if they know they're gonna have a rush at the 5950x.
Picked up a 7700x with the free 32 gig ram promo from microcenter but waiting on boards. Getting a cheaper board with no PCIe5 or only 1 just does not seem to make much sense unless you plan on ripping out the board to replace it in the future. Features wise, as a content creator, I REALLY like the idea of the Asus Pro Art.... dual PCI-e 5 if I want to run dual gpus, more importantly for some fast NVMEs to work off of locally and transfers.... (each video I do is easily 100 to 200 gigs). And of course the idea of thunderbolt sounds great for color grading monitors and transferring files to either a DAS... OR 10 gig ethernet if transfering to a NAS... oh.... and it does not look like the neon/RGB fairy spit up all over it. lol. Yes, it's $500... but seems more like a "buy once, cry once" proposition for at least the next 5 years or so. with the cheaper boards... its like might as well have stayed on Ryzen 5000 and X570. =) And I am guessing the new Radeon cards coming out in November will be PCI-e 5.0.
im planning to get a 7950x. i work in 3D and i only need a good cpu. do the cheapest board am5 runs the cpu at 100%? or should i get a better board since im getting the best cpu? i dont need any fancy audio, leds, etc..
Personally I have done some upgrades of my desktop computers in the past but the main system I never changed, my first computer I did upgrade the memory once but I wouldn't do that now, I also upgraded the graphics card but that was only once, what I upgraded the most are my hard drives. I always find myself adding more hard drives at a later point. I'd recommend to get the best system you can buy for the budget, that is everything except for the graphics card and hard drives, just get the bare minimum hard drive space to run the OS on but get the best hard drive there is for the space that you need, get the best graphics card that you can buy for your budget but since you can always get a better graphics card later I'd have a higher priority for the core parts that you aren't going to upgrade later so I'd get a bit lesser GPU to start out and use the money for better core parts and buy the best GPU later if I have to. I've always built my system with future proofing in mind but the last couple times that I've built my systems I haven't upgraded anything except for more hard drive space, didn't need to upgrade the GPU or anything else and my latest system I'm using for about 10 years now, with the same hardware and I only added more hard drives. Now to keep up with the latest games I have to buy a complete new system so upgrading this old system doesn't make any sense and I think that most people do this, just keep that in mind when you buy a complete new system that the whole future proofing thing isn't really necessary and over the top and most likely you'll never even make use of it because by the time that those new hardware components are out you'll need to buy a complete new system anyways because you'll be using the old system for years and years already and it won't make sense to upgrade the old system anymore.
asus x670e hero is what i'm looking at only because i have a i7 6700k setup with the old hero vlll version and it rocks. I just need something that is amazing for high level music production but i do enjoy athletics. Let me know your thoughts. So far i bought a y60 case and 7950x!
Hi Jason, awesome content as usual. I'm not an early adapter so I think I will me waiting AM5 out. Speaking of motherboards, I do need your opinion on something that involves previous gen CPUs. In late 2020 (just before prices went crazy), I built my first PC: Ryzen 5 3600 (cooled by a Deepcool Gammaxx 400 EX Air Cooler) coupled with a GTX 1660 Super on a Gigabyte b450m DS3H V2 Motherboard with Ripjaws V 16 GB (2x8) 3200MHz CL16. Initially, my storage was an XPG SX8200 Pro M.2 500GB and an old Toshiba 1TB hard drive. In 2021, I added a Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SSD. My original PSU was the Gigabyte P650 80 Plus Bronze, but got scared when news of the P750 variant blowing up and got the Corsair RM750 when it went on sale in my country 3 months ago. All these components are housed inside a RAKK ATX case with Arctic F12 Fans. I use the PC for work (basic MS office apps needed) and play AAA games (Halo Infinite, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, etc) and the occasional indie that is available on Xbox Game Pass. (whew, that was a lot of contexts there) So, my question: Are there any advantages in upgrading my MB to an ATX? I ask because the Asus ROG Strix B450-F Strix Gaming II ATX Motherboard got cheaper recently in my country and is selling for about 120 USD. I know that you recommend this MB along with Asus TUF B450 Pro, but unfortunately, the ATX version is not available in my country. Is it worthwhile to upgrade to the ROG Strix MB? Aesthetically, I do think it will look awesome in my ATX case, but I don’t think this reason is enough. I might have some need for the better audio codec in the future, but not at the moment. Viewing your video on MBs also taught me that ATX MBs provide better long-term durability (Before 2020, my last PC lasted me 8 years!). I know that the ROG Strix has better VRMs, but I don’t overclock at all. Help me save money! Part of me wants to push the button and just buy the new MB because I am getting the itchy finger and want to tinker with my PC (hahaha) but the other (more practical part) is thinking that, if this does not really give substantial upgrade in performance or durability, better control myself!
Only reason I can think of for pcie gen 5 is having a few VMs running on the same drive?? But haven’t seem this benchmarked so it would be a shot in the dark.
Hey, when are you going to revisit this clip? Willing to build for AM5, and your video was really helpful. Was wondering if the Asus ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI or Asus TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI are still the ways to go and if you still recommend those. Thanks!
Hey there! I really enjoy watching your videos and I really overthink everything! I really want to build my 2nd rig (I sold mine a few months ago, it was created on 2017). I love playing games in 4k. I really care about how it looks and stuff like that. I really needed help to see what build should I make right now, it doesn't matter the cost, but I only want to play amazing AAA videogames and never miss a detail with amazing fps. What would you recommend me? (Yes, I have checked all of your videos but I am still figuring out what I really need). Thanks a lot and would appreciate your answer!
Honestly, right now I'd go Ryzen 5800X3D if building a high budget AAA title gaming build and reserve most of my money for an RTX 4090 or RX 7900 XT (when it launches). See our Ryzen 5800X3D best build video on the main channel page under the "Builds and Parts Lists" playlist.
@@PCBuilderChannel Hey! you know I watched your video and buyed my rig based on ur recommendations with 5800x3D! now when it arrives I wonder how should I place the 240mm AIO cooler and the fans (with Corsair Airflow 4000x), I mean, which ones should do the exhaust and which ones the intake! thank you!

Thank you for sharing! Glad you got what you needed.
So glad it was helpful! And we will definitely cover the B series when it's out and we have all the pricing!
Is there a well supported tool for detecting what speeds are supported by a usb-c cable and/or port? Seems useful for the future.
It seems a lot of motherboards are starting to skimp on audio connectors. Thanks again for this detailed overview!!
Glad it was helpful! And yes its frustrating
Just use a soundcard
Great video. Thank you! I do hope the cost of ddr5 falls further. The entry cost outlay required to use the new AMD cpus is a little high.
Agreed! Ryzen 7000 value is going to be all about the platform costs. And thank you!
Yo watched this like 5 times and am a bit torn
What's ur opinion on Asus Pro Art X670e vs the Asus Strix Gaming x670e-e?
Hey I’m looking at the asrock taichi Carrara mob would you recommend?
Awesome videos, can you also make ram comparison for zen 4.
Haha thanks Christopher! Not going to lie our two cat two person team is exhausted lol
you have showed me so much good info i love it you and jaystwocents has the pc side of youtube on lockdown
Thank you for the support!
Thank you for the level of detail in your reviews!
Glad it's useful! Thank for the feedback it means a lot
Thanks. This has helped me understand these motherboards more
Glad it helped!
Glad you got what you need! Let us know how you like it
@@PCBuilderChannel fantastic! Thank you for the super quick reply! I am looking forward to those videos!
My god this video was exactly what i was searching for, greatly structured, exactly what i was asking myself with all questions covered. Thank you so much for the great content! Looking out for your video on the B650 Series :)
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the feedback it means a lot. B650 video coming today at 10m EST!
Hi Jason, like your videos. AT 8.34m you say B560, but I think you meant B650. Correct me if i am wrong. Keep up the good work!!
Doh! Yep reversed some numbers there. Thanks!
Now this is what I was waiting for.
No plans on building a pc at all and watched the whole thing. Learned a bit, too.
So glad you enjoyed!!
Amazing Analysis and very very detailed and good explanation, thank you so much 🙂👍🏻🐈
Thank you! So glad it was helpful!
can youu make a dedicated video on VRM?
what all to lookout and difference between doublers and all?
Probably a little too in-depth for what we do, but here is a great article to get you started: www.hardwaretimes.com/how-does-a-vrm-work-phases-doublers-inductors-and-capacitors/#:~:text=They%20function%20by%20distributing%20the,portion%20of%20the%20required%20amount.
Keep on growing sir!
Thank you we are working on it! :)
I am aiming for the ASUS Proart. Thanks for reaffirming my choices :D.
Glad we could help!
Hey which cpus are better tha new intel ones or the 7000 amd series?
i apriciate for the links and the review good video
Glad it was helpful!
You're the goat man.
One thing I'll say about motherboards, I'll overspend as much as it takes for a dr debug lol. It's crazy that the motherboard manufacturers make you pay $300+ for a couple of seven segment displays
YES!!! I got the steel legend asrock board because it was the cheapest x670e board that I saw... Now I'm happy with my decision, thanks!
Nice!
Should i get the Asus TUF Gaming X670E Plus WIFI or the ASRock X670E Steel Legend? Same Price here in Austria (EU)
Any of these more expensive options would bring an advantage for people looking into building high end VR systems?
This video will help me a lot. Right now I have gtx1080 with intel i5 6600k. The cpu is driving me crazy with it's bottlenecks.
Thank you a lot. 👍
So glad its helpful!
Jason hits us midweek !? What a great surprise🤩
It's a crazy week! (;
Not going to lie our two cat two person team is exhausted, but happy to get this content out for those who need it!
amazing Jason as usual
So glad it was helpful!
If i heared you right you said that there are no pci-e gen 5 graphics cards available and wont be for a long time. Isnt the new lineup from amd coming in like 6 weeks based on gen 5 pci-e?
You're officially my new favorite tech tuber.
We love to hear it! (:
Thank you!
I always enjoy your content. Good work
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed!
Best value IMO is the Steel Legend. Even tho I'd probably go for the MSI PRO x670-P, but that is now also sold out.
So exited for this video we need a best cooler and memory video next!!!!
We're working on it! (:
absolutly love the videosssss
but 13th gen intel might put ryzen 7000 on the chopping block becuase ddr4 and you can use older z690
like you said pcie gen 5 ssds are useless but z690 does support pcie 5.0 x16 bandwith for extra extra furureproofing

Love your vids Jason, I’m on a 1200$ budget and I don’t know if I should go with cheap am4 or am5
With that budget right now I'd look at Ryzen 5000 series. But you might want to wait a bit and see what prices do around Black Friday and the Intel launches
what combo do you recommend . Ryzen mobo combo. im building my 1st pc
Running a 5800x rn. I might go for a 7950X with the Asus Tuf board. Seems nice for the "price"
great video, one correction: direct storage games on win11 run better wiht Gen4 NVME ssd
came here for the first time and to see the MSI PRO X670P, and am happy I did!
Welcome to the channel! Glad it worked out :)
Just wanted to know does the ASRock X670E Taichi Carrara haves duel bios
pcie gen 5 graphics cards would be a game changer. Even if it wouldn't saturate a gen 4 16x lanes bc i would then have no qualms about running it at gen 5 8x lanes. This would then save me 8 lanes which i could use for a whole lot of different things
TuF Gaming not sure now if i should go for b650 or X670E since you said 560 is the same as x570 which i already have, guess im going with the TuF X670 E
currently building my 7700 on an asrock steel legend, was sweating when you didnt mention it in the first round of asrock boards lmfao
Have you tried installing Win 10 onto a gigabyte board? It seems to lack the driver necessary for the NVME M.2 drive and their website doesn’t have a driver for it either.
Thx for the good work
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching
@@PCBuilderChannel Thanks
Will you be making a video on covering the launch of Intel Arc a770? October 12 launch date!
Yep! News video coming out this Saturday and we will certainly cover the launch too
I'm really glad I watched this video, seems like I was about to over spend like $200 more because there were a few things I didn't understand and I was ignorant. But yes I agree with you, after the $335~ price point, the cost of these boards soar way high and there are significant diminishing returns for the money spent. Great job on the video! I'm grateful for the explanation.
Really glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching
@@PCBuilderChannel btw quick question, for boards that don't have SPDF port, do I have to buy an S/PDIF mini board separately and use motherboard's built in S/PDIF connector or is there a work around??
Thanks for the video
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching
how are these x670e boards same price or cheaper than a regular x670? might as well just go for the 670e
Also if the ASRock X670E taichi Carrara does not have duel can you see the newest amd mrotherboard does have duel bios
as always awesome video. did you see they shot the am4 AMD CPU prices back up after dropping there new ones yesterday. the 5950x 5900x 5800x3d all shot back up 100 bucks overnight
Interesting....
I don't see a 100$ price increase, but picking the 5800x3D for example, it is up 20 bucks on average.
Thanks you , learn a lot mother board knowledge
Happy to help!
Well, I hope you are gonna review z790 as welll....thanks!
Will do!
Nice! Glad you got what you needed
I wonder if the release of Ryzen's next motherboards will force current 12th gen intel motherboards to drop in price..? (Wishful thinking probably!)
im planning to get a 7950x. i work in 3D and i only need a good cpu. do the cheapest board am5 runs the cpu at 100%? or should i get a better board since im getting the best cpu? i dont need any fancy audio, leds, etc..
Now to keep up with the latest games I have to buy a complete new system so upgrading this old system doesn't make any sense and I think that most people do this, just keep that in mind when you buy a complete new system that the whole future proofing thing isn't really necessary and over the top and most likely you'll never even make use of it because by the time that those new hardware components are out you'll need to buy a complete new system anyways because you'll be using the old system for years and years already and it won't make sense to upgrade the old system anymore.
do premium ALC codecs matter (ALC 4080) if you're just gonna plug your motherboard into a DAC/Amp or receiver?
asus x670e hero is what i'm looking at only because i have a i7 6700k setup with the old hero vlll version and it rocks.
(whew, that was a lot of contexts there)
So, my question: Are there any advantages in upgrading my MB to an ATX?
But haven’t seem this benchmarked so it would be a shot in the dark.
do you think nzxt will be launching an am5 socket mobo?
Hey, when are you going to revisit this clip? Willing to build for AM5, and your video was really helpful. Was wondering if the Asus ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI or Asus TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI are still the ways to go and if you still recommend those.
Thanks!
Asus are cpu burners
I ask because I tend to think that if I spend $3k it would run better, but I don't want to do content creation. I just want to play games
@@PCBuilderChannel Thank you! I will check that video
@@PCBuilderChannel Hey! you know I watched your video and buyed my rig based on ur recommendations with 5800x3D! now when it arrives I wonder how should I place the 240mm AIO cooler and the fans (with Corsair Airflow 4000x), I mean, which ones should do the exhaust and which ones the intake! thank you!
Not great seeing barely any of the new boards have an optical out socket for audio. I consider that a must have.
Great video. Still seriously doubt I upgrade my X470 until B750 arrives, at which point DDR5 prices should be much better.
Glad you've got what you need for now!
